We recently stayed at Irnaqana Villa by GenuineHost in the Ubud and were thoroughly impressed by the architectural design and overall experience. This is not just another new villa (open late 2025), it’s a beautifully conceived private sanctuary where modern elegance meets natural tropical living in perfect harmony. Irnaqana consists of only four villas, each one a completely separate building. This gives every guest total privacy and the feeling of having your own exclusive retreat, which is rare and highly appreciated. The First Impression: A Brilliant Design Moment. From the moment you arrive, the entrance sets the tone. The elegantly designed door is a masterstroke, as it opens, it dramatically reveals the entire private swimming pool in one breathtaking view. It’s cinematic and instantly relaxing. No obstructed sightlines, just pool and lush greenery waiting for you. This clever architectural choice makes the outdoor space feel like an extension of the living area and creates that “wow” factor right away. Lush Garden & Natural Surroundings and water flow sound. The garden is lush and thoughtfully planted with a wonderful variety of tropical plants that feel completely natural and established. It’s not overly manicured, instead, it blends beautifully with the surrounding rice fields and countryside, giving a genuine sense of being immersed in Bali’s nature. Morning light filtering through the leaves, birdsong, and the gentle breeze made our mornings on the terrace truly special. Spacious Interior with Impressive High Ceilings Inside, the villa shines with its generous proportions and smart layout. The ceilings are exceptionally high — at least 5–6 meters — which not only makes the space feel incredibly airy and luxurious but also keeps the villa naturally cooler throughout the day. This is a game-changer in Bali’s climate. The unit is cleverly split into two distinct yet connected zones: • On the left side you have the dining and TV lounge area — perfect for relaxed meals or evening entertainment at the sunken seating. • On the right side is the bedroom with a bathtub and bathroom wing. Both sides offer ample space, so nothing feels cramped. The design elegantly balances modern lines, high-quality materials, and natural elements, clean aesthetics paired with warm tones and textures that nod to Balinese tradition without feeling clichéd. Every piece of furniture, lighting, and finishing feels carefully chosen and of premium quality. Bedroom & Bathroom Comfort The bed is enormous and one of the most comfortable we’ve experienced in Bali. After long days of exploring Ubud or playing sports, sinking into it was pure bliss — our backs were very thankful! The bedroom feels spacious and peaceful with excellent blackout options. The bathroom is equally impressive — spotlessly clean, with strong water pressure in the shower, fresh towels daily, and good-quality toiletries. Everything felt hygienic and well-maintained. The air conditioning is powerful and gets deliciously cold although might needs 1-2 minutes, which was welcome after hot days. Combined with the high ceilings and natural ventilation, the villa stayed comfortable at all times. Location Perks. While the villa itself is tucked away in a quiet, green setting ideal for relaxation, the surrounding area is surprisingly convenient. There’s a fantastic variety of eateries within a short distance — from authentic local warungs serving delicious Balinese food to excellent international restaurants. Final Thoughts Irnaqana Villa excels in thoughtful, high-quality design that prioritizes space, light, views, and privacy. It successfully delivers both aesthetic beauty and genuine comfort. A stunning place and magical people! 🤩❤️🩷🧡 Unusual, natural, beautiful! Real Bali, without the tourist trappings, no hustle and bustle, just pure nature, an authentic atmosphere, and genuine, warm-hearted people! The eco-hotel's grounds are simply stunning! So much work and love has clearly been put into them. There are flowers all around, an avocado garden, coffee trees, a well-mown lawn, and the plunge pools with spring mountain water are a godsend! You can swim and even fill up with clean mountain water to drink from the spring. There's a natural pool for children. The staff and owners are a wonderful family, such warm, caring people! Many thanks and love to the owner, Yuni! ❤️ She explains everything, helps with everything, is always welcoming, and she cooks local Balinese dishes so deliciously! We were greeted warmly, as if we were visiting good friends. 🤗 The cottages are well-spaced, spaced apart from each other, so no one disturbs anyone else. Each has an area where you can light a fire in the evening under a roof protected from the rain. The cottage has two floors: the top floor has a bed and a balcony, and the ground floor has a living room, toilet, and shower, all in the fresh air. Shampoo and hot water are provided. Incidentally, the water is also mountain hot water. The blankets are pleasantly warm, the bed linen is good, and there are plenty of pillows. There's no air conditioning or heating in the cottage, but it's not necessary—the temperature is very comfortable even with the windows open. There's a café on-site with stunning mountain views. The hostess prepares breakfast and also serves Indonesian dishes à la carte any time of day (until 9:00 PM). The grilled ocean fish with local sauce was magical!👌👍 The air is so clean here! The views are breathtaking, the silence, the forest, the mountains, the flowers, and the gardens—it's truly peaceful. The price is very reasonable for Bali. У каждого есть зона, где можно пожечь костёр вечером под крышей от дождя. В домике 2 этажа, на верхнем кровать и балкончик, а на первом гостиная и туалет, душ, на свежем воздухе. Есть шампунь и горячая вода. Кстати, вода тоже с гор. Приятные тёплые одеяла, хорошее постельное бельё, много подушек. В домике нет кондиционеров и отопления, но этого и не нужно - температура очень комфортная даже с открытыми окнами. На территории кафе с потрясающим видом на горы. Хозяйка готовит завтраки и ещё по меню в любое время дня (до 21:00) индонезийские блюда. Рыба из океана на гриле под местным соусом была волшебная!💛👌 Какой чистый воздух здесь! Виды захватывающие, тишина, лес, горы, цветы и сады - умиротворение. Цена очень демократичная для Бали. А ещё мы купались в горной реке, у маленького водопада в 200 метрах от отеля. 👍 Молодцы, желаю процветания этому эко отелю и чудесной семье! ❤️🤩👍 Рекомендую!💯

Great hotel. Large, yet cozy and full of Bali spirit. Lots of greenery. 100% value for money. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The staff are always ready to help. Special thanks to Pia at the reception. There are activities: morning yoga, aqua aerobics, and water volleyball. Different daily free shows, as well as national costumes available for photoshoots. Thanks to Kerni and Ginara for the dressing! There's a temple on the property where we went for a performance – a traditional Balinese dance show – combined with dinner (a barbecue and local cuisine buffet). Good breakfast selection with diverse cuisine. The grounds are large, with several pools and various lounge areas. Plenty of sunbeds. The beach is the best in this area – you can swim even during low water

The resort is beautifully located on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of local and international dishes, and the quality of the food was not bad. The facilities were well-kept, making it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.The resort is also conveniently located for exploring Bali while still providing a quiet retreat away from the busy tourist areas.

Nestled alongside some of Bali’s most exquisite resorts, this property offers a refined and luxurious experience at a surprisingly moderate price. The ambiance is serene and tranquil, allowing guests to truly relax and unwind. The cuisine is flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, while the staff provide warm, gracious, and attentive service throughout the stay. The resort is beautifully designed with lush greenery, creating a harmonious balance between nature and comfort. One particularly charming detail was the collection of books in various languages thoughtfully placed in each room, as well as in the lobby and by the pool. Spending time reading by the open-air swimming pool or on the beach, surrounded by such peaceful silence, offered a rare and indulgent sense of escape from the outside world.

This hotel is a very good choice 👍🏼 I am a little picky, but here’s my review: Pros: ✅ No damp smell, well ventilated ( I was worried about this) ✅ No insects in the room. There might be some geckos 🦎 (which is normal and expected) but I didn’t see any. ✅ Very clean in general ✅ Comfortable bed ✅ The service is amazing ✅ The staff is very friendly and helpful ✅ The breakfast is very good, there are plenty of choices. ✅ Their restaurant is also very good, in case you don’t want to go out of the resort. ✅ The vibe at the beach is nice and if you like water sports it is also good. ✅ The pool is huge and very nice ✅ Reasonable price (but it will depend on the season and demand) Cons: 😑 Sound proof can be better, one can hear everyone from the pool (the sound enters from the main door) 😑 The beach is not the best for swimming, and is a bit dirty in general (not the hotel’s fault) 😑 The gym can be better as there are only 3 machines (spinning, treadmill and elliptical) the dumbbells are fine ✅😄 Overall, recommended! I was happy with my stay at this hotel! It is good to give it a try!

My overall experience on this hotel is excellent. Easy to find, good location. Lobby staffs are friendly and accommodating. Lobby, waiting area, elevator and hallways are all modern. The room door is superb. Clean and soft bed, strong wifi connection, hot and cold shower. The room is big yet very affordable. i highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay. Complete breakfast with delicious fruits. Staff ready to help at anytime and very lovely. The room was very nice, including a nice bed, chair and desk for work. The shower was very good too, comparing to others I’ve stayed in Indonesia. I’d definitely stay again and for longer.

Hotel yang sangat selesa dengan rasa Bali yang sangat. Kebetulan saya baru tempah sehari sebelum masih dapat harga sekitar 160 untuk kemudahan lengkap. Terdapat TV, peti sejuk, dan bilik mandi yang bersih. Dilengkapi dengan tuala dan sabun 3-dalam-1. Sabun, syampu dan perapi. Kolam renang juga bersih. Suasana hotel dari luar adalah misteri, tetapi di dalam bilik adalah seperti gambar, terang dan unik. Kakitangan sangat mesra dan air minuman percuma disediakan. Terdapat kopi dan teh percuma di hadapan kaunter penerimaan tetamu. Petang boleh minum kopi sambil duduk depan hotel, ada kerusi restoran menghadap jalan. Tempat letak kereta yang luas untuk kereta dan motosikal, terletak di ruang bawah tanah hotel. Sangat disyorkan!

I booked a 6-night stay at Villa Estella from September 28 to October 4, 2026. The villa itself is beautiful, well-equipped, and ideally located for a stay in Seminyak. The staff are also friendly, welcoming, and professional, as is often the case in Indonesia. Unfortunately, I can only give this property 2 stars because my stay was significantly affected by an issue that was never disclosed before my booking: major construction work was taking place in the villa directly next to mine. For all six days of my stay, construction workers arrived every morning around 8:30–9:00 a.m. and continued working until approximately 5:30–6:00 p.m. Beyond the constant movement of workers, conversations, and music from the construction site, I had to endure hammering against the wall of my bedroom, drilling, material cutting, and various other loud construction noises throughout the day. In addition, dust and construction debris regularly settled on my terrace, outdoor furniture, and around the pool area. Whether inside or outside the villa, the noise level was simply incompatible with a relaxing holiday. I specifically chose this villa because it was located away from the busier parts of Seminyak and because I wanted to enjoy the private pool. Since Seminyak’s beaches are often difficult to enjoy for swimming due to the waves, I expected to spend time relaxing at the villa and cooling off during the hottest hours of the day. Unfortunately, the noise was so constant and intrusive that it was impossible to comfortably stay at the property from morning until late afternoon. The day after my arrival, I contacted management to explain that the situation was unacceptable and that I should have been informed about the construction work before booking. In my opinion, this is essential information that should be clearly disclosed on booking platforms. The only solution offered was to have the workers start a little later in the morning so that I could sleep longer. No alternative accommodation was proposed, no full refund for the unused nights was considered, and the only compensation offered was a 30% refund on the remaining nights, which I considered completely inadequate given the extent of the disruption. The construction work continued throughout my stay. I received several apology emails acknowledging the inconvenience and warning me that there would still be noise on the following days. However, beyond these apologies, no meaningful action was taken to resolve the issue. I felt trapped and left without a real solution. I was repeatedly told that I was free to leave the property, while also being informed that the compensation would remain limited to this partial refund, which was presented as an exceptional commercial gesture. Empathy and apologies are appreciated, but concrete action matters more. I was left with the impression that the owners prioritized their business interests over the comfort and well-being of their guests. When a property knows that major construction work is likely to significantly impact the guest experience, the very least it should do is inform guests before they book so they can make an informed decision. In my case, I was only informed after I had already arrived, when it was far too late to change my plans. I find this completely unacceptable. If you are considering staying at this villa and are sensitive to noise or construction disturbances, I strongly recommend contacting the property beforehand to confirm the current situation. This important information was certainly not communicated transparently when I made my reservation.
