Hotel berhampiran Crimea Shopping Centre, Perth

We've stayed here before. It's great value for money. Room was clean, modern bathroom and furnishings. Plenty of lighting, much better than the one main light in the middle of the room. Meals at the hotel were good value and the staff were so friendly and efficient. The hotel is situated next to a railway station for convenience. Also, cars are parked in a secure gated car park. Will definitely returnj.

friendly staffs, nice balcony, good location, a few minutes from supermarket and pharmacy. near Morley there are big shopping centres, many Asian shops and restaurants. Also has local shops and restaurants. free parking, coffee and tea maker , microwave and fridge .

actually not a bad spot, read the reviews on tripadvisor and google and was slightly worried but the lady at reception on Friday afternoon 27th Jan was an absoloute gem and so friendly, made me feel really welcome. The room and property was really lovely too just a little quiet. I'd stay again, thanks for a great stay team.

Perth central caravan park. Nous devions passer une seule nuit, nous y sommes restés cinq. Des hôtes fantastiques et gentils. Une belle piscine 🏊‍♀️ bien entretenue tous les matins. Des sanitaires 🚾 pas tout neufs mais très propres 🧽 🧼 🧹. De grandes places avec des bâches ou des plateformes en béton. Beaucoup d’arbres donc d’ombre. Proche du bus 940 qui mène à Perth (10$ le ticket 🎫 journalier qui donne accès même au train 🚊 pour Fremantle voie 7) Proche de l’aéroport mais pas bruyant du tout. Stayed for one night, place was ok for one night. It was a general heater and the rooms didn’t have a heater.

Good value for its price level. Basic room, clean enough despite being rather dated (still using the traditional key with that big plastic attachment). Check-in staff, breakfast & location also good. A few stops on the free Red CAT from Perth Stn to the block behind. A block away is the wonderful vast expanse of Langley Park with the Swan River at the side.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

I really don’t like writing bad reviews but this place just doesn’t deserve a great rating. The location is good and the rooms a big. I did get an upgrade to a suite, but everything is very dated. On my window, they had masking tape which I suspect was to avoid wind whistling through. That’s not a really great look though. Check in was a disaster. Admittedly it was Friday evening and there was a lot of people arriving for the weekend, but clearly they weren’t planning their staff needs properly and it was ridiculous. Not only that, but their EFTPOS machine was not working so you had to fill-in a paper sheet. I get technology goes down, but honestly that was just bad. To be fair I was not feeling well when I arrived, so the whole thing just seemed a lot worse than it probably was and the staff were actually quite nice, despite the fact that they were clueless. I had sent a message to the hotel prior to arriving with a couple of specific requests, which they did the absolute opposite of which just made me laugh. They weren’t a big deal, but it’s the little things that count, especially when you’re a diamond member of their loyalty program. I think the place just needs a freshen up and the staff need to get plugged in. I wasn’t actually going to even write a review, but what pushed me over the edge was when I turned on the shower and watched a whole pile of hair swirling around in the bottom of the shower stall.

We stayed for three weeks and plan to do so again. The accommodation was fairly spacious although lacking a little in drawer space. The kitchen was quite well equipped, but no dishwasher. The front desk is very helpful if there is something you need. Our apartment was cleaned most days, but not all. We never did figure out the schedule. But service was certainly more than adequate. We had a ground floor room (Number 8) with a nice little patio. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was very quiet. Incredibly convenient for the ferry to the CBD, to a Good Grocer supermarket that could provide everything you could possibly want to eat or drink and to several restaurants, cafes and other retail stores. Altogether a fabulous place for a long stay.

Second stay at the Wonil Perth after a very nice first stay last year. The Wonil Perth is not your standard 4 or 5 star hotel (it would deserve 5 stars, by the way), but a unique place with a beautiful vibe, last but not least thanks to an excellent team. Staff is superfriendly, with Front Office Manager Khalid Awan being outstandingly courteous and service-oriented. Again a wonderful experience. Enjoyed the nice room, the beautiful view from the balcony, the terrace, the excellent food in the restaurant, and the welcoming atmosphere.
