Hotel berhampiran Sorya Shopping Center, Phnom Penh

The room was filthy , looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The staff was so rude I was astonished! The bathroom door jammed causing me to be stuck in there and had to escape through the air vent. The staff was unapologetic and suggested it was my fault I was stuck , saying I had locked the door , I took a video which clearly showed the door was not locked !

Don’t typically stay with the Hyatt Brand, but the Hyatts in Asia have been amazing! The room here was great. It’s wonderfully located - near the river, the Palace etc. That’s not the reason for this review. This review is for the STAFF. We stayed here 12 nights and each day we were met with a collection of sweet smiles. Wish we learned all their names but are glad to have connected with a few: Daily breakfast buffet were with the lovely Seavyoung and shy Srey reap - thank you for taking such wonderful care of us each morning; Sotheary was our lovely lunch companion; Sopha, a sweet little thing from the Attic; Yem from the Regency Club, thank you for our bottomless Prosecco; Dinner Staff from 55, lovely Leakana and her team; Last, but certainly not least, Fariza, sweet darling, thank you for singing us romantic songs; Eric,one of the managers, love your contagious energy. Five Stars accommodations and amenities are pretty much the same, what separates them is the team of people who enhances your stay. For the entitled reviewers / visitors who expect perfect English…. How’s your Cambodian!?!

Ini adalah asrama yang sangat ber***a dan bersih. Katilnya bersih dan luas, dan anda boleh menutup langsir untuk privasi sepenuhnya. Kawasan umum bilik berbilang orang juga sangat luas dan juga mempunyai balkoni, jadi anda boleh berehat. Terdapat bilik mandi dan tandas yang mencukupi, dan sabun badan dan syampu juga disediakan. Lobi di tingkat satu mempunyai kedai kopi di mana anda boleh berehat. Lokasinya terletak di jalan yang sibuk dengan pasar tempatan dan pasar malam, jadi anda tidak akan menghadapi masalah mencari semua jenis makanan. Terdapat juga banyak kedai dobi syiling dan kedai dobi. Salah satu daripada beberapa kelemahan ialah tiada lif, tetapi saya fikir jika anda bersabar dengan ia sedikit berat pada hari pertama, anda tidak perlu risau mengenainya. Ini bukan masalah dengan hotel, tetapi lokasi ini agak bising pada waktu malam, jadi jika anda mempunyai tabiat tidur awal, anda mungkin sukar untuk tidur sehingga sekitar jam 2:00 pagi. Saya tidak fikir ia akan menjadi masalah kerana ramai orang akan bermain sehingga lewat.

An unfortunate experience, I found myself in the worst situation dealing with M Residence, as on the day of my check-in, the Sale Manager Vincent neglected to inform the receptionist about my booking, and instead of booking online for a fair rate, they wanted to charge me 50 USD per night, when it was only 24 USD online. Because the receptionist was new and unfamiliar with the process, she had to validate each step with her manager. It took me 45 minutes to check-in. The whole thing felt sketchy because I had to pay 130 USD with tax instead of 72 USD online with Airbnb small tax it would have cost max 86 USD if I recall. Anyway, I paid and received a very small room with hardly working air conditioning and filthy elevator. The swimming pool was breaking apart, and it appeared that the structure was inadequately maintained. There was no pool attendant, and no PH and CL analysis of the chemicals in the pool was available. The entire establishment is a shambles, and they definitely lack hospitality skills. Anyway I shared some information about my experience with the Manager who told me “The staff are so bad” I wanted to react and tell him that he should invest in training them but I could see there was no point in telling him has he clearly do not hold any sense of hospitality skills… The day before my departure I contact the “Receptionist Supervisor” and asked if I should do my check out now to collect my deposit back as I leave at 5:50 am and she informed to not to worry there is 24/7 staff at the lobby. Of course, the day of my check out there was no staff at the lobby to proceed my check-out so now they are ghosting me over 30 USD refund. In addition to all of this I intended to do a collaboration with the Sales manager upon my arrival a discount or free stay over some pictures which they gladly receive but never gave me proper feedback nor a compensation. M Residence is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Cambodia. Their unethical practices and scams are not the way to conduct business.

It is very in the centre of city where is very easy for you to travel everywhere from place to place! Good for business traveler!

Dah puas bersarapan. Restoran di *** juga sangat lazat pada harga yang rendah, jadi ia pasti lebih baik daripada makan di luar. Restoran kat luar lagi mahal🤣

It seems it’s located in some sort of clubs area so depending on which side your room faces can be good or can be a horrible stay. I booked the hotel two times and on my first stay was no problem but on my second stay I got my room facing clubs and couldn’t fall asleep till 4 am when the music stopped. My whole room was vibrating from loud club music. When you stay there make sure you get a room on a quiet side. On this 2nd stay there was a fire alarm as well, seems some guests smoked in the corridor or so. I opened my door and staff asked me to go back into the room.

Ia bersih dan segar. Berbaloi dengan wang. Walau bagaimanapun untuk tempatan anda perlu meletakkan deposit lain untuk $15 di tempat kejadian dan mendapatkan semula sebaik sahaja anda mendaftar keluar.

Probably one of the new best hotel that just opened this year in Phnom Penh. We were very impressed by our family suite. Literally huge with very modern amenities. Having 2 separated bedrooms and a large living room is a big plus. As many other reviewers we enjoyed the pool at the roof top. Do not miss the sunset. About the staff: some are very new to hospitality but you can see and feel the management are very experienced so there was no issue at all for the check in and out. The ladies at the front desk are particularly cute :)

Good location. Good hotel service everybody very friendly . Hotel also nice, clean , new , for that price is really excellent. When you trip like a busyness and tired, come stay few days, that choice will be perfect for guys , who just wanna take shower and rest
