Everything was fine. Did not get to eat breakfast because airport shuttle back to the airport is only offered once a hour do we had to leave before breakfast was ready

The staff was very professional, welcoming, hardworking, and kind. From the minute we arrived they treated us like it was our home away from home making sure we felt our needs were taken care of. I booked from Hotwire so it was within our budget and close to public transportion(light rail) from the airport to hotel to Midtown close to museums, resturants, and delightful historic district. Yes the rooms show some wear but we found it clean and comfortable. The included breakfast had lots to choose from for everyone and was well stocked. The pool and hottub were down for maintence but it was too cold to swim anyways. :) Thanks for all your hardwork!!

Good: The room was clean and modern (hotel appears to be going through an upgrade) Needs improvement: Note that parking is $10.00 per day. I missed in on their web site. The klunky part is that they can't add it to your room total - you are required to use a phone app, enter your license plate number (in my case, I had to walk out to the parking lot as I don't know my plate number), add your credit card number, etc. After going through this process, you get a message on your phone ”counting down” the 24 hours that you have remaining on your 24 hour parking clock. The hotel is located adjacent to a health care facility. Throughout the evening and while attempting to sleep, their helicopter was coming and going. I'm a fan of life flight, but not next to a hotel. Very small lobby and breakfast area - hardly enough space to accommodate their guest population. We finally left and found breakfast elsewhere.

We stayed in the two bedroom suite which was very spacious and good layout out. However, it was extremely old & dirty. The whole hotel is NOT usual Marriott standard. Is more of Super 8/Motel 6 standard. Musty, dirty carpets, air in one room worked great, other not at all. Carpets were disgusting. Probably can’t be cleaned , need replacement. Looked like someone threw melted cheese at one of the curtains. The comforter on bed had stains, I felt itchy the whole time. TONS of obvious drug users & homeless all around the property. Loud all night. Did not feel safe. All the hotels in this area are pretty much the same quality. I suggest looking towards Scottsdale, worth the extra $$. The best things were the afternoon manager NOT the new hire who had no customer service skills, but the gentleman you could tell had been there awhile. He was great at check in. Also the older woman at check out was very friendly & helpful as well. I was ready to leave as soon as I walked in the room but unfortunately nothing was available in the area I needed to be in. Marriott should be ashamed of the quality of this hotel. Will not be returning!

Look at my reviews. Rarely do I ever say anything negative about a business; I'm very easy to please. This review is a rare exception. Key points: Desk clerk is behind bullet-proof glass communicating via a Charlie-Brown-quality speaker. Entire property surrounded by high fence with security gates. The overall vibe is one of maximum-security prison, or perhaps post-apocalyptic wasteland. I am grateful that management has taken the responsibility to do these things to assure the safety of its guests. However, I simply do not wish to stay someplace where such measures are necessary to assure my safety. I've stayed in a LOT of major cities and have never encountered a hotel like this. That said, our room was very clean and tidy; nothing fancy but perfectly acceptable in and of itself. And in fairness, nothing the least bit unpleasant occurred during our stay. But our discomfort was extreme nonetheless. Though we had originally reserved two nights, we checked out after the first. Driving about randomly in Scottsdale turned up a far more satisfactory hotel for the second night.

Best place in town we loved it!! It was a great experience!!we had a real good time!!

Bartenders were friendly and entertaining. Good choice of drinks. Breakfast was very good. Good selection of hot and cold foods.

After a nightmare unsafe experience another hotel, we hurriedly booked this under the logic ”there's a bunch of businesses around it so it's probably safe.” Wrong We showed up and it was actually deep in the back away from the road. We saw people loitering everywhere and a police car with lights on at the entry sitting there patrolling. All bad signs. We immediately left and called the Motel 6 customer service to cancel. We booked it not even 10 mins before but because it was ”after 6” they would charge a cancellation. A senior manager said they ”put it a request not to charge” us. As of right now, no charge.
