A lovely resort and an amazing time. My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights as part of a fantastic Luxury Escapes package deal. We were quite fortunate with the scheduling, as it appeared to be the last nice week of weather before the wet season began. So the resort was very quiet, but this added to our enjoyment. The resort is located across the street from Karon Beach among the most stunning tropical botanical gardens. It is also a 15-minute taxi ride to Patong Beach and a 10-minute taxi ride to Kata Beach. Our room had been recently renovated and offered a stunning view of the pool, gardens, and the beach. Both restaurants provided good food and the pool was a wonderful place for a cocktail or just relaxing. The staff was amazing, always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

The hotel is sitting on an pretty sizeable campus, but the curved design helps to manage walking distance between different facilities. There a few swimming pools on site, as well as restaurants if you like to stay on the property. You can easily take a Tutu or taxi from the beach entrance. There used to be a TOPS convenience store according to Google map but it is gone now. Hotel is old with facility in the home. Phone is like still in the 90s. Bathroom was done probably 10 years ago. Their toothpaste comes with a tiny drop it bearly covers one time usage. Overall if you like big hotels this is it. But room is getting old. Will I go back again? Probably not.

The hotel is in a good location about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main centre of Karon and the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants closer to the hotel though. Room was spacious and kept very clean each day. Pool/beach towels were provided and changed regularly. The direct pool access was lovely. Could sunbathe on the patio. And just plop into the pool anytime , day or night. In the section we stayed in the pool lights weren't working for the duration of our stay ( 6 nights ) so even though it was possible to swim at night the pool was not lit up . There were quite a few mosquitoes, but that's not the hotels fault and they did provide spray/repellent. The bathroom was a little tired looking but was very clean and the shower was hot and powerful. We did not enjoy breakfast, although there was lots of choice it wasn't really to our taste. I think it could be improved by using better quality produce . There was the option to have freshly cooked omelette but only one person cooking so most times quite a queue. Also a couple of times when we went for breakfast there were no tables free to sit at . There is a free shuttle into Karon twice a day 10am and 2 pm and taxi is available either through the hotel, on the street or using grab app. The staff were all lovely and very helpful Overall a relaxing and enjoyable stay

Great hotel for family. My kids enjoyed the pool and it’s slides. Their petting zoo is amazing. The room design looked dated but still very comfortable. The garden within the hotel is huge and beautiful, the management did a great job balancing the lush greenery with amenities. Karon beach is just crossing a road. This is best beach in Phuket, with white powdery sand and Amazing sunset. I would choose this hotel again when I back in Phuket.

Так как в январе высокий сезон - выбор отелей был достаточно скудный. Остановились на Рамаде, забронировали. А потом начитались отзывов. Я была готова ко всему - старой сантехнике, уставшим номерам, отсутствию ремонта, грязи. В итоге все не так страшно) Главное запрашивать номер после ремонта. Вполне себе чистый, свежий номер, с новой (пусть и не дорогой) мебелью, новая сантехника. В номере у нас душ и ванна. Удобная двуспальная кровать, кондей работает отлично, иногда даже через чур) Завтраки скудные, да, но голодными не останетесь. Скрембл, тост и сосиски - не хуже, чем дома) Расположение отеля отличное - море в двух шагах. В отсутствии душа и туалетов на пляже не составляет труда дойти до отеля. Рестораны и магазины также в шаговой доступности. Персонал отеля очень приветливый и доброжелательный. Нужна была скрепка для замены симки - предоставили сразу же) Все с улыбкой и хорошим настроением) Человек в будке у отеля (возможно охрана), если видит, что не перейти дорогу из-за оживленного движения - выходит, достает какой то флаг и помогает перейти безопасно) Бассейн грязный, но мы не ради бассейна приехали и в целом, возможно это предвзятое отношение, гости отеля купаются. У отеля есть небольшая уютная территория, вечером на балконе очень тихо и спокойно. Мы первый раз в Тайланде, но объездили уже пол мира и сами работали в отельной сфере. Поэтому отель советую, все достойно!

I would like to start by saying that I am very impressed not only by the staff, but also by the premises, the environment and simply the whole holiday was perfect. The hotel is very clean, very well arranged and you have a good feeling of being included. Even after 16 days I don't regret having chosen this hotel for a single day and on the next trip I would choose this hotel again. Unfortunately I can't upload all the pictures to celebrate this hotel, it's just stunning. Auch nach 16 Tagen bereue ich es nicht, dieses Hotel für einen einzigen Tag gewählt zu haben und würde bei der nächsten Reise wieder dieses Hotel wählen. We stayed for 3 nights and in the sea view room it was lovely and big very clean with everything you need in there was on a busy road but there was no noise really after 11pm trees over the road on beach so not really direct view of sea but a lovely view anyway

Rooms were tucked away from the street. However, the balcony was lit at night by the very close neighboring hotel, providing very little privacy. Breakfast was average. Pool bartender named ”New” was very friendly and treated us well! Our room wasn't ready for check-in until after 2pm (several other guests had the same issue). We didn't eat at the street-side restaurant which had very little business. A small and very close-by street food market was a favorite late night hang-out. They had good food, music and a lot of business.

What a relief when this place came into view. Across the beach and well layed out rooms in order to see a bit of the sea from the balconies. Huge spacious room with a king-size bed still leaving ample room to move around. Clean and well cared for. Huge bath for a good sized foreigner ;-) and the friendliest staff. Reception insisted on a valet carrying my husbands one bag to the room. As he arrived at the room, he explained what was free and what wasn't, what towel is used for the pool and which for the room. Very refreshing! Breakfast was ok although bacon was replaced by ham and the rest not too appetizing although the amount was sufficient with crumpets and fruit added to the American breakfast. Awesome location and close to the local very expensive Irish pub and a few others. Will definitely recommend this for the price we paid around 100RMB/500BHT. This is exactly what my take is on travel, money should not make the difference in the way you are treated or the cleanliness of the rooms. These are bare basics that need to be covered, anything else will delight the customer. The fact that they carried our bags to the room was an absolute delight and made the experience memorable.

Mandarava Resort and Spa did not fail to impress us once again as it did back in 2015. Although the resort was undergoing reno works, there were no shortfall in regards to their service and usage of their amenities. The best part is that it's just walking distance to the eateries, shopping area and the Karon beach. Will come back again for sure!

Clean hotel with good AC. Walking distance to Karon beach and markets. On a quieter street which is awesome for getting a good rest. Roof top pool is beautiful and quiet most days. Only con is the 1000 baht deposit that is required. Prior to checking out they went up and inspected our room. One towel had a small amount of sand/dirt on it and the staff brought it down to show us and said we would not be getting our deposit back. After going with them to a sink and showing them that the sand/dirt simply washes off the towel they gave us our full deposit back.

We stayed for 3 nights and in the sea view room it was lovely and big very clean with everything you need in there was on a busy road but there was no noise really after 11pm trees over the road on beach so not really direct view of sea but a lovely view anyway
