El Hotel es un 5 estrellas de verdad. Situacion inmejorable frente al mar. El personal muy profesional. Estan pendientes de todo pero no te enteras. Palacete de epoca con parte nueva muy bien integrada. Decoracion con personalidad. Calidad precio excepcional. Para mi, el mejor de Porto. Desayuno excelente.

Stay Away! This hotel does not deserve any stars in customer relations. Unfortunately we could not visit their property due to wild fires that were occurring during our stay in beautiful Portugal. We cancelled our 2 night stay outside of their cancellation penalty and got back one night however they offered us a credit with a expiry date. But being from outside their country we would never be able to use it. We called and called and gave them every opportunity to do the right thing. They did not so sadly here is my review. Customer service is so important in today’s world and this hotel may need to take lessons from other hotels. We had other hotels booked along our route and graciously people understood and did the right thing. I hope when people read this they will choose another property because when customer service is bad in one area it seems to be bad everywhere within its doors. Don’t GO

the rooms with a supposed ocean view actually look at a garden…expensive extras, eg 25 euro to park the car and ironing has to be paid for, they do not lend you an iron. So far a ver dissappointing stay, and this looked like a nice hotel in the pictures…it’s not

If you like plastic all over the room, the floor,walls, furniture etc. This is the place for you. The floor at the balcony became so hot that you are burning your feet, and when the floor in the room is wet it is extremely slippery.the chairs at the balcony is burning hot in sunny weather,so its impossible to use the balcony.the swimmingpool area is the same material and completely unfit for wet surrundings,its only a matter of short times before someone falls and brake limps.I wonder where the architect has had her mind, when planning this surrundings.I agre whit other visitors, that it is NOT optimal placing a restaurant at the sea whitout looking at the sea,especally when there is a wonderful sitting room looking out over the sea.

Wonderful hotel, it used to be a palace. The room has got to be one of the prettiest rooms i have seen, very well designed and the archtecture is amazing. Bathroom is also stunning, everything is not only beautiful and fancy but very comfortable and very good quality. Breakfast has a ton of options for fruits, juices, cakes eggs etc. The pool and SPA are also amazing, with a dry sauna and a turkish sauna, everything you could need like snacks and refreshments in the pool area are also provided at no aditional cost. Would definetly come back.

Sadly this place did not live up to its 5 Stars. Location: Too far from Porto. In good traffic 15 minutes. View: Sea view across the main dual road and lovely boulevard Room: We took one of the two sea view rooms in the main house. Dismally dark. One slim window looking out to sea but against a far wall so no view really unless you stand and go to the window. Same slim window in bedroom with direct sea view. Great when awake only. Bathroom has same but when using need the blind down, do no view. The ‘unique’ shower looks directly across to the next property. Again, blind down. The best part was absence of beside tables. Nowhere to put items and no light switch. This was about one meter above you where a shelf sat across the width of the bed. Sofas, if you can call them that, would. E better placed in a garden or play area. Breakfast: Basic, no daily variety. The same every day. Eggs were awful and served alone poor things! No garnish, nothing. On two occasions we asked for grilled tomatoes and were told it was not possible. What?! So whatever eggs you order presentation was zero from ten and taste was the same. You can guess what the rest was like based on this. Best dish was poached eggs served in a bowl of warm water! Service was slow and without pleasantness. Room service: Appalling. Simple request for ice and some lime slices took 20 minutes and arrived with lemon slices. Two more attempts on different days. Ice and orange slice. After 15 minutes ice and a peeled orange presented in a cloche arrived. With a bill for €5!! Needles to say this was sent back. Housekeeping: Dreadful. No requests, and there were not many, were adhered to. Simple extra towel requests were ignored, or am overload of towels delivered Beware, turn down is attempted at around 16:30/17:00. So a huge disappointment for a similar size cost. Much better places close and in Porto with lovely views. Try the Yeatman. Check out: Would have been nice to have been asked whether we enjoyed our stay.

This is a fabulous hotel. It's beautifully designed, quiet and discreet and exudes luxury. Excellent restaurant. Apparently, it has a Michelin star, but I didn't have time to try it. The breakfasts are great and include fresh oysters! The ocean-facing rooms in the newly built annexe are excellent value. If you take a ground-floor room, you might not get much of a sea view, but you'll have a large sun terrace with loungers, which you won't get on the upper floors. The ocean views from the upper floor are fantastic. As they're west-facing, you'll see the sunset every day. If you take a non-ocean-view room, you'll save a bit of money but be looking onto the hillside behind. The rooms in the main hotel are luxurious and large. I was offered a choice, but I chose an ocean-view room in the annexe, which I'll do when I go back - because I'm definitely going back! I really loved this hotel.

Vila Foz is a beautiful hotel in Porto, Portugal, with accommodating hostesses, hostesses, and bar staff. John and Pablo will ensure your drinks are perfect and served timely and excellent conversationalists. They have a 1-star Michelin restaurant, but we couldn't get a reservation due to our short stay. I recommend making a reservation when you book the room to ensure a vacancy. I'd give it six stars, but the app doesn't allow it. It's worth the stop. I wish I had more time to stay here!
