Stayed here for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful stay. Gracious, friendly, and accommodating staff not just at front desk, but at breakfast in the morning and for drinks in the evening. Santillana can get very busy with tourists during the day, but staying here felt like a true retreat and at night it becomes magical. Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. We had a fanastic time in Cantabria, and Hotel Casa del Marques only heightened the experience, would recommend to anyone.

This was a great little find! We stayed at this hotel on a Wowcher deal and couldn’t be more impressed. It’s everything you need for a couple of nights away. Room was spotless and bed were comfy! The supermarket across the road was perfect for snacks! There are plenty of nice restaurants in the local area to walk too if you don’t want to go into Santander. The sports bar across the road is perfect for an afternoon beer! Easy to get into Santander … we hired a car but also got Taxis in the evening.

From the outside the hotel doesn’t look like much but the interior more than makes up for it. Welcomed very nicely by staff and was easy to find our room. Room was a great size and lay out and the bed was incredibly comfy. There were always staff available if needed but we didn’t have any problems. The hotel was in a great location and the beaches and restaurant were lovely.

Me ha encantado nuestro paso por Comillas, la conocía de hace tiempo y la visita que hemos hecho la ha colocado entre los rincones top para nosotros. El hotel fenomenal, nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitamos, indicaciones, recomendaciones....gracias chicos por recomendarnos el bosque de sequoias, nos encantó... Hemos dormido de maravilla y el desayuno que habíamos leído alguna crítica, es más que correcto, algo de bollería rica, una tostada un poquito de fruta y dos cafés por 7 € me parece que está muy bien, no se que espera la gente de verdad. Además está situado en una zona donde hay mucho espacio para aparcar, nosotros lo metimos dentro, en un alto donde hay muy buenas vistas a escasos metros. Repetimos seguro, probablemente en septiembre Gracias por todo

L'unico punto a favore è la vicinanza dall'aeroporto, per chi ha un volo presto la mattina. È un tre stelle immeritate, arredi già alla reception anni 80, sciatti e poco invitanti. Una notte senza colazione è costata ben 150€ per una semplice camera doppia, dalla porta con chiavi con serratura (non elettroniche) e da cui provenivano i rumori degli altri clienti sul pianerottolo, essendoci fessure lungo tutti i margini della porta. Il bagno era pulito ma antico. La receptionist è stata gentile perché ci ha prenotato il taxi per il mattino successivo. Sono contenta di averci trascorso solo una notte. Le foto non rispecchiano minimamente lo standard dell'hotel.

Le preguntamos si en la cafetería había leche sin lactosa (puesto que soy ALÉRGICA) ella me dijo que sí y que tenían todo tipo de leche (sin lactosa, soja...). La mañana del 31, bajamos a desayunar, y después de esperar, no exagero, 15 minutos para dos cafés, mi pareja ha pedido uno normal y otro SIN LACTOSA, pues como ya he dicho, soy alérgica. El camarero debe ser que no sabe lo que es la leche sin lactosa, y ha decidido poner leche DESNATADA, (debe ser que al ser Desnatada pues él piensa que no lleva lactosa). Yo estaba fuera, en las mesas que tienen en la entrada del hotel, y no me he dado cuenta de lo sucedido, pero mi pareja que estaba pidiendo en la barra, y suele estar muy pendiente de esto (pues ocasionar un shock anafiláctico a una persona alérgica puede suponer poner en peligro la vida) se ha dado cuenta y rápidamente le ha dicho al camarero que eso no era leche sin lactosa y el camarero le ha contestado: es desnatada. En fin, he tenido que preguntar a la chica de recepción ( esta vez era otra) y le he pedido una hoja de reclamación. La chica me dice que su compañero no ha debido entender el significado de sin lactosa, pero que no lo ha hecho con mala intención. Yo le he explicado que no dudo que lo haya hecho aposta, pero que un error como este en una persona que no puede tomar LACTOSA puede poner en peligro la vida. No pago 90 euros de hotel por una noche y 9 euros por un desayuno que no han podido ponerme ni leche sin lactosa. VERGONZOSO Lo sucedido hoy en el hotel San Millán. NO RECOMENDABLE.

After driving the 80minutes or so from Santander, one reaches Ojedo and Potes; both lovely towns with plenty to see and do. Afternoon check in so a pleasant day was spent exploring the local countryside and it’s (even in the rain) spectacular views. The area is very popular with motorcyclists and the hotel seems to specialise in, or certainly cater for, the clique. We checked in and found our spacious en suite room to be everything we could have wanted. The toiletry fairies could have been a little more generous but we were well enough stocked. The bar was lovely and at times lively. The enormous breakfast room doubles as a function suite and there was a different one for each of the three nights of our stay. The attached restaurant was friendly and very efficient especially as they shared the kitchen between themselves and the aforementioned functions. Food. Good, service excellent, wine ditto. Breakfast: Generally very good. Plenty of good solid grub but a couple of items of positive criticism. The chafing dish for keeping eggs and bacon piping hot is a great deal more successful if filled with hot water and perhaps having its burners lit. Otherwise it’s a scramble (sorry) every time fresh HOT eggs are added to go with the definitely cold bacon. The very picturesque (some say romantic) samovar providing hot water for making tea should be retired to the oddities and curios shelf and a more reliable, constant source of boiling water adopted. The on site pool is lovely. I only left on the arrival of a group of mothers and their little treasures. I can’t blame the hotel for this….. All this aside. We had a fabulous stay with some wonderful staff in a lovely hotel. I’d go again.

Ha sido muy buena. Relación calidad-precio excelente. Para el uso que hemos dado nosotros a la habitación hemos estado muy bien. El único pero que pondríamos es que la habitación era un poco más pequeña de lo que pensábamos pero muy bien. El desayuno también muy bien por lo que por el precio recomendamos cogerlo. Para aparcar hay sitio en la plaza o bien al lado de la Posada. Nosotros en Agosto no hemos tenido ningún problema y siempre nos han facilitado para aparcar Justo en frente

Una excelente ubicación para contemplar las vistas al mar y al precioso pueblo desde el bar-restaurante, que es donde se sirven las comidas. La habitación la elegimos también con vistas, para no perder ninguna oportunidad durante nuestra estancia para contemplar las fabulosas vistas. Para no incrementar el precio, en la primera reserva no incluimos el desayuno, pero al ver la ubicación, nos decidimos a añadirlo y fue un acierto total. El personal del hotel muy atento y especialmente en el desayuno bufet, pendiente de que no faltara ni un detalle. Una cama confortable y un buen descanso, con la satisfacción de que nuestra estancia nos permitió huir de la ola de calor. En San Vicente la temperatura fue perfecta.

Every minute detail of these suites is ensured to make your stay as cozy and pleasant as possible. The room was gorgeous and reasonably clean, overlooking downward into the bay and featuring every apparel for those of us who value autonomy —from hair-drier to corkscrew to Netflix, together with a couple of beds, a sofa and a dining table. What struck me was the building, a very old but heavily remodelled three-storied house with state-of-the-art technology decor: all of which comes across as quaint and charming. Location's quite perfect, very close to the old Tetuán district and in doable walking distance to city centre and Sardinero. In any event the receptionists were always very kind and helpful! Last but not least, these luxurious suites are absurdly affordable for the amount of care and work that has been put into them. I dare say there is nothing that comes close in the whole of Santander for the price range. Whether you'll be coming on your own, single or with your family (4 people max.) you'll be sure to be delighted. Just make sure not to set the room on fire!

Nice ride through the country north east loop, to Santander, avoiding the motorway. Easy to find the Hotel near the beach, though you have to take a second right to come back to the hotel. Parked outside the hotel, no problem. Reception staff were excellent and very helpful. It is a modern Hotel and the room was good. Excellent access to the beach, bars and supermacado. Far better than average breakfast, with a very nice member of waiting staff. Very good.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had an absolutely wonderful stay. Gracious, friendly, and accommodating staff not just at front desk, but at breakfast in the morning and for drinks in the evening. Santillana can get very busy with tourists during the day, but staying here felt like a true retreat and at night it becomes magical. Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. We had a fanastic time in Cantabria, and Hotel Casa del Marques only heightened the experience, would recommend to anyone.

Estábamos preocupados antes de llegar a la Posada después de haber leído todos los comentarios (polvo, moho, suciedad). Nos quedamos en familia, dos niños y una persona de edad y en ningún momento estuve de acuerdo con los comentarios que había leído: todo está impecable, la casa es muy bonita, el desayuno agradable y los que trabajan en la Posada son muy cordiales. Merecen las 3 estrellas y volveremos sin dudarlo.
