Villa Maroula

The apartments are like in the photos, with beautiful garden that is being maintained daily. Cleanness of the room was above the expectations - the towels and linen was changed every two days, everything is well maintained and in the perfect shape. The location is in the middle between Rhodes Town and Lindos, and there are a lot of beautiful beaches nearby, up to 15-minutes drive. Villa is right beside the main road, which makes it a bit noisy if your apartment is on that side, but on the other side, it’s peaceful so you can enjoy sitting in garden. The host is really kind and willing to help about anything you need - from instructions and recommendations about the sightseeing, local restaurants to anything other you need in the island. We enjoyed our 12-night-long stay and we will come back for sure.

The owner Michalis and his family are the greatest hosts a person could wish for! They greeted us with open hearts during the fires in Rhodes in July 2023 and looked after me and my partner until we managed to find a way home. They provided us with a room, food and drinks and were unwilling to charge us. They also kept us up to date with what was happening. Their family hotel is really nice with a very romantic surrounding of lemon trees and the most aromatic basil bushes and mint plants I've ever smelled. There are BBQs in the garden which guests can use. The rooms are exquisitely clean, the beds are very, very comfortable, with all amenities present - air con, TV and a fully operational kitchen. The villa is a short bike ride away from the nearest beach, with bicycles provided free of charge. Highly recommended - 10/10

We got a taxi here from the port and received a warm welcome. Shown to our room which was the apartment with the country view overlooking the beautifully kept gardens and two patios. Lovely apartment, spotless, with everything we needed. There were free cycles available which we made full use of. 10 mins on a flat road to the massive beach which was never busy. There was a tourist trolley bus which stopped near the villa and took you into the village centre which was the location with far more life and plenty of restaurants. There was an excellent fish restaurant by the beach which was excellent and the owners of the villa were so kind in organising transport to another nearby taverna as we are old and legs were aching from cycling!! They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We are very happy we stayed here rather than in the village and would highly recommend. The villa is by the busy road but please don't let this deter you as you won't even notice.
