Palazzo Baj in Trastevere

Very beautiful room with excellent view and very friendly host.very clean, in a central location, near to reastaurants and cafes. Very close to sightseeings, in front of tevere, amazing building.we will visit palazzio baj again in our next trip to rome!nektarios-nadia

This hotel was perfect! In a perfect location and the host Laura was so so kind and helpful! We ended up being later than we expected and she was very accommodating. It was very clean, chic, and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Great little boutique hotel, very close walking distance to the Collisum and other historical sites. Very comfortable and clean. There's a central eating area that serves the 4-5 rooms with coffee's, tea's and snacks. Our hostess Laura was great, very good communication with information for entering the property and room as it was a little confusing. Would stay there again.

We had a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and the location is perfect. Trastavere is very charming with several restaurants in walking distance and away from the crowds. Laura - the host - was very helpful throughout the whole process and welcoming upon arrival.

Overall: We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed Rome. This is not really a hotel but as previously mentioned, it is more like a guesthouse. Management greets guests checking in and all communication is via app. The common space has a few snacks but only expresso sized coffee. It would be nice to have a regular Keurig for brewed coffee.Generally, It was a pleasant experience for sure. Pros: The location is great and close to many restaurants and walking distance to most historical sites. Bus stop is also convenient. The room was very clean, comfortable and well air-conditioned. Great service as all questions were quickly addressed via mobile communication. Cons: The room is definitely small but manageable. Also, Having a map in the room for guests would be helpful so that they can better navigate Rome.

Details in FR and ENG : Je mets rarement un avis sur internet mais là je ne peux pas l'éviter. Les photos que l'on trouve sur internet mettent beaucoup en valeur ce B&B trop en valeur. Pouvons-nous rappeler que le prix moyen d'un hotel 4 étoiles à Rome est de 211 euros ? Ici, à 300 euros la nuit, on se retrouve dans une chambre (petite), qui donne sur rue (attendez vous à être réveillé dès 6h30 en vacances avec le traffic), on nous vente une vue panoramique, qui n'existe absolument pas. Pour notre part nous nous ommes retrouvés proche de ce qu'on appelle "le lieu de petit déjeuner", les murs sont si fins que l'on entend absolument tout le monde. Pourquoi ? Parce qu'il s'agit en fait d'un appartement de rez de chaussé réaménagé en B&B. Le "petit déjeuner" inclus, il s'agit de croissant sous plastique, une machine à café, et un cake qui n’avait pas bougé depuis 3 jours sur le bar. Il y a à peine une table basse pour s'asseoir. Autant aller dehors profiter de Rome avec un café en terrasse. La seule chose positive de cet endroit, c'est l'emplacement et la gentillesse de l'accueil. Mais ça ne suffit clairement pas pour le prix !

 I never post online my feedback on hotels but this time I can't. Photos you can find on internet are selling it way too much Can we remind ourselves that the average price of a 4 star hotel in Rome is 211 euros ? Here, we pay 300 euros a night, you find yourself staying in a room (small), ground floor (exept to be awaken at 6.30 in the morning with traffic while being on holidays). You’re being told that you’ll get a panoramic view, but in fact that doesnt exist. We ended up in the room next to the very small breakfast area, walls are so thin that we could hear everyones plan for the day. Why ? Because its a ground floor appartement that had been changed into a B&B place. The « breakfast » includes croissant in plastic, a coffee machine and a cake that had staid for 3 days on the bar. There is only one table to sit and « enjoy » the breakfast. You might as well go outside and enjoy Rome on a terrace with a small coffee. I will add that our room had on shutter working out of two, so we woke up with the light as well as the noise. The only positive thing about this place, is where it is located, and the kindess of the welcome, but its clearly not enough for this price !!!!!
