It is about time someone (aka me) wrote a recent review on my stay. This was a great stay. This is small hotel, all the staff super friendly especially both the gentleman on reception. I have seen reviews elsewhere complaining of the breakfast. Just a reminder that this is a 3* hotel and the breakfast is more than adequate to set you up for the day and has all the essentials. The room was spacious, very clean and modestly modern enough especially the bathroom which had lots of space to keep belongings. The small attention detail was nice - towels with the hotel name on, coffee cups with inspiring/funny messages, 2 plug points near the bed, clock in the breakfast room in keeping with the hotel’s link with the port/shipping industry. Note, the rooms have a fan (but they are in the process of installing air conditioning to all the rooms). Only suggestion I have is that the bathroom door in room 103 was a little squeaky (just needs WD40), pillow could be a little less lumpy (but they were more than happy to supply more pillows and still slept very well) and the drinks from the fridge by reception is on the expensive side but all minor points. Location is great. 10 mins walk from Euromast and a few minutes walk from Coolhaven Station, qs a little far from the Centraal Station to walk and even Blaak (where the markethall and cube houses are). All in all, I would definitely stay again. It was a pleasant, relaxing and quiet experience. It felt safe yet cosy. The hotel seemed a little quiet, despite being the weekend, I hope it picks up over the summer. Thanks for a lovely stay!

I stayed in this hotel a few weeks for a conference a few weeks ago. I had no problem with the room. I stayed in a double room which was very comfortable to sleep in. The shower was also excellent. So far so good. I only had breakfast at the hotel which was fine. It had a nice selection of local produce between hot foods, cold meats, cheeses and pastries. The customer service was fine and I had no problems though other colleagues had problems. I don't understand how there are so few staff for breakfast but there is a lot of staff for evening service. Just an observation. The main problem I had with this hotel is that it is in the middle of nowhere. Apart from the zoo, there is nothing around apart from an industrial area across the road. I went for a walk and it is 20-25 minutes walk to the nearest restaurant. Seriously! My advise is unless you are willing to spend the whole day in the nearby zoo or have a conference there stay somewhere else!

Hotel a pochi passi dai mezzi pubblici che portano in centro città. Dispone di un parcheggio ma purtroppo non c'erano posti per noi. In strada comunque si trova posto facilmente. Le camere sono spaziose ma poco fornite. Mancano frigorifero, asciugacapelli ed armadio. Personale gentile e disponibile. Nel complesso un buon soggiorno

Nel pomeriggio al rientro da una prima visita della città , ci siamo recati in hotel , la ragazza alla reception molto gentile nello spiegarci tutto , dispone di un ampia sala dove sostare a leggere , fare colazione al mattino, ma ho riscontrato tante pecche . 1)si salgono delle scale a chiocciola , con bagagli , non c è un ascensore , quindi molta predunza anche lo scendere , xke può dare una brutta sensazione scendendole , già per questo motivo non è consigliabile per le famiglie con bambini . 2) stanza molto piccola , senza finestre , anzi c erano ma non si potevano aprire , non abbiamo capito se è stato inserito un blocco oppure non hanno apertura . 3) condizionatore molto piccolo , che a stento usciva L aria , e abbiamo trovato anche un ventilatore ( accesso xke non si poteva stare chiusi in camera così piccola , io al mattino non vedevo L ora di lasciare la camera e prendere aria xke mi ha dato sensazione di soffocamento , molto brutta e non si può spiegare ) 4) servizi di bici da noleggiare molto caro , ogni ora o €3,00 o €4,00 , assurdo. Se dovrei consigliarlo solo x una notte si , ma non per soggiorni lunghi .

Wow! My father and I loved this hotel. It is centrally located, beautifully and ergonomically designed, well run and really interesting. Everything was well thought through and the rooms were very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were great. What made this place stand out was the staff. They were very helpful, friendly and very efficient. The owners were also very friendly and helped me out as I was there looking for an apartment. Bike hire was included in the price and super easy too. All in all, we had a great trip! Keep up the excellent work. 👏🏾

Beautifully designed boutique hotel! Love the marine references and the understated elegance. You can see the care that has been put into every aspect and I really appreciated it and enjoyed all of the details. Rooms are on the smaller side even with upgrade but very peaceful, quiet, comfortable, lovely spaces. My room looked out onto a quiet courtyard with trees turning golden colors in the autumn weather, so beautiful. Gorgeous bathroom. Good proximity to centraal and a nice walk to everything in the city center. Seems to be a somewhat residential area with grocery stores nearby if you need provisions. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, and staff went the extra mile to make eggs and bacon the morning of my departure—fuel for the road!—which I really appreciated. Thank you so much! Sergio the owner is lovely, very welcoming and accommodating to guest needs. Great music and nice atmosphere in a small lounge/cafe space. Note that there are no refrigerators in the rooms so you’ll need to use the first floor fridge with the front desk attendants to get things for you as needed. I will mention that there was a bit of a boundary issue with one male attendant my last evening there so not sure I will return here next time. But apart from that, this hotel is beautiful and I strongly recommend it for travelers, couples, families, all will be happy, comfortable and delighted with this hotel. Wonderful atmosphere all around and worth the money.

Just opened hotel in the center of Rotterdam has bright spacious rooms . Room has flat screen TV, free of charge WiFi in the entire building. Walk in shower has screen protector. Hairdryer and toiletries are free of charge. Hotel is located in museums area, maritime museum is in approximately 350 meters away. Unfortunately during COVID-19 time it was closed.

Perfecte ontvangst, we waren te vroeg maar konden onze tas achterlaten bij de receptie van het tegenoverliggende hotel Emma. We kregen een upgrade, super blij mee. Het hotel ligt perfect centraal in de stad, met alle mogelijke horeca en middenstand op loopafstand. De kamer was perfect, het bed heerlijk, de douche krachtig en de koffie heerlijk. Ook digitaal werden we goed bediend, prima televisie met makkelijke link naar je eigen telefoon om te casten. Ook de speakers waren makkelijk te bedienen. Kortom: super tevreden met dit hotel.
