Lovely place but confusing to find your way around. I arrived after midnight and no porter to show the way. Great breakfast but coffee machine in my room not working!

An old hotel with high ceiling and spacious room. The included breakfast is better than I expected, there are a few hot dishes. Not much around the hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for one night at the beginning of our 11 day Costa Rica trip and then for our last night in Costa Rica to ensure easy transfers to and from the airport. The breakfast is great! Pool area and outside spaces were lovely even with all the squirrels eyeing our snacks. The rooms are large (high ceilings and bathtubs!!). Location is decent as it’s a 10-15 minute Uber down to the city center and cool coffee shop neighborhood. Very safe and clean. Staff were great.

Excellent hotel located close to downtown San Jose and major Bus Terminal. Friendly, knowledgable staff and excellent service. WIFI, breakfast and parking included. Onsite restuarant and Bar. Swimming pool and hot tub and also Large Gym.

Very nice Hotel conveniently located close to downtown San Jose. Major bus station 2 minutes from hotel. 30 minutes to SJO Airport. Clean,comfortable,great food,great staff,great amenities including Gym, pool, hot-tub restaurant, bar, travel agent and convenience store. Safe and secure and free onsite parking. WIFI throughout hotel.

I like this place, works for us specifically because it’s close the bus station

Very clean and adequate facilities. Good location to walk downtown but also be out of the way. Great breakfast!

service was excellent and the facilities were really good, i especially enjoyed the gym located on ground floor, the breakfast was fantantic and the only drawback was there could be more seating outside for breakfast

Decent hotel though a bit old. Very disappointed in the fitness facilities…that beautiful fully equipped gym in the pictures has been gone for 3 years, now it’s slightly more than a broom closet (the colourful gym in the pictures). Had I known I would have stayed elsewhere as many hotels in the area have excellent fitness facilities.

Nice hotel. I booked all my excursions at the hotel. Very friendly staff they were happy to help me organise the trip. I enjoyed both trips that were recommended. Wish I had more time to see more of the North part of Costa Rica. Would recommend.
