Room cleanliness is impeccable.Food is amazing and regards my dietary needs,gluten,lactose and egg free food was available.Staff is very friendly and professional.And a big thanks to the amazing chef.Definately recommend this hotel and all their facilities.

Decided to book here for a night because of nearby construction work near our holiday rental. The hotel is a little unassuming from the outside, but inside it was evident that the hotel has gone through some redevelopment from previous years as reception and the lobby was small but very modern. The receptionist was friendly and even show us to our room. We were based on the first floor on a basement level room with a double bed. However considering the fact that things were last minute,we didn’t complain too much and we got a decent night sleep . The room was clean and fairly stylish and air con worked properly too. Only downside was no coffee making facilities in room. However, coffee and water was free in the lobby all day, alongside free biscuits. The inside pool is small, but styled well into the bottom of the cave cellar and perfect for a dip. We would have booked a slot in the jacuzzi if we had more time. The breakfast was pretty simple buffet continental, but still offered hot options and cold as well as juice and coffee. Overall, a fairly good experience both with atmosphere and service.

Magnifique hôtel . Tout était parfait . La chambre est très propre , la piscine à l'étage est superbe . La spa est très grand . Le personnel est attentionné . Le quartier est animé donc on entend de la musique mais cela ne dérange pas .

Reception staff went above and beyond following my recent holiday when I had to wait over 24 hours for my suitcase to be sent from Manchester. They provided essentials and repeatedly phoned the airport for me to chase my case. The apartment was large and very clean with all the essentials for self catering. The pool was comfortable to use, on my own, not always the case, always available sun beds nice temperature and pleasant surroundings

Excellent place to stay in the heart of St. Julian’s. Had a very pleasant stay after a horrific experience in a nearby hotel (Carlton Hotel). Anna the receptionist was a wonderful person, I asked to see the room prior to booking it and she did plus all her help for me during my 4 days stay. The room was outstanding with a beautiful big balcony right on the bay with wonderful views. The room was well maintained and super clean with everything you can need. Large king bed with fluffy linen and good pillows. There was hair dryer and water heater, coffee & tea. Also a mini fridge and modern furniture. Bathroom was small but very clean and modern with no issues. Elevator is small but fairly new. Breakfast was also included. Palmena the manager was also very welcoming. Vishnu the male receptionist was very nice upon my checkout and held my bags as I was leaving town later in the day. Special thanks to Anna as she made sure everything was comfortable and that I’m happy with my stay. Definitely coming back and very highly recommended.

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. Hôtel 4* juste parfait très propre les couloirs et la chambre sentent super bon le personnel est très chaleureux très acceuillant vraiment parfait! Le seul petit bémol c’est que c’est un peut isolé mai c pas un inconvénient sachant qu’il y a un arrêt de bus à côté . De plus il y’a une grande piscine extérieur avec des palmiers des transats et c’est tout vue sur la mère très Instagramable.

We stayed here for a last minute break away for our anniversary. When we got dropped off the location was in a busy street late at night on a Saturday. When we arrived at the hotel we were expected being the last arrival of the day. Check in was very efficient and the reception doubled up as a bar. The room was very spacious and very clean, with a nice big double bed, ac, TV, safe, kettle, fridge and storage. The balcony was street facing which was small but enough for 2 and ideal for the hubby who smokes. The bathroom was again very spacious and very clean we had a nice walk in shower and the water pressure was also very good. We realised in the morning we were in the midst of a town with lots of construction but the noise could not be heard if the windows were shut. Due to this the AC was needed which is the only thing I can fault. Due to this being controlled by a panel on the wall by the entrance but no remote was available to control therefore had a disturbed sleep to change temp or switch on or off.
