Great hotel - perfect for a solo stay! I was in the Premium Standard, which included two little tub chairs, a king bed (two singles pushed together but they didn't move!) and a huge bathroom with a great shower, bidet and two sinks. The location is great, 10 mins away from the Giralda and central city, and opposite you have a great department store with a supermarket underneath as well as Aldi on the other side - no more than 30 seconds, if that! I opted not to include breakfast, and there are no shortage of options in the locality. There are also a ton of fast food eateries - McDonalds, Burger King and Taco Bell are around the corner if you need an emergency feed. The room was spacious, and came with a kettle - but no coffee sachets, only tea. The bed wasn't as comfy as other hotels, however it was by no means uncomfortable. The pillows were soft, and the room in general was lovely and well decorated. The wardrobe had a lot of hangers - a plus - but there was no iron. The window opened (a big deal for me!) and I was overlooking a side street. I could see the top of the bell tower from my room, so that was nice! The cleaning staff were really friendly, and did a great job day after day - lovely team all round. There is no complimentary water, you have to pay for the ones in the mini fridge which, given it was late spring/early summer and was very hot, I thought was an oversight. One of the reasons this is getting 4/5 rather than 5/5 is that the room is not sound proof - I could hear everything going on in the other room adjacent as well as all the traffic from the corridor. Which also means they could probably hear what I was doing in mine too - worth bearing in mind if you play music or have the TV on loud! If you're looking for total quiet, this might not be the right place as evenings start late in Seville and go on until at least 11pm, so people come back to the hotel around midnight. Overall, I would come back - I loved it! Location is 5*, and if you're travelling alone as a woman, this hotel is safe and in a busy area on a main(ish) street. I felt absolutely safe the whole time in the city and around the hotel. Definitely worth the cost!

Deuxième séjours à là juderia tout s’est très bien passé comme d’habitude, personnels au top, souriants, accueillants. Les chambres sont superbes, l’hôtel bcp de Charmes, décors magnifiques.

Very good location. Close to the major sites. Difficult to find since it is in a set of alleyways. You cannot drive a car here, so if you have a vehicle, research parking first. The nearest underground lot at Jardine Murillo was full, so we found the San Bernardo Parking Lot, but it was a half-mile walk dragging luggage over cobblestones. This was not a deal-breaker; I mention it to be aware. The hotel was fine, the staff were rather cool and not too very friendly, but they were helpful enough. The room was fine and our room faced the alley with the outdoor restaurant, so we heard the noise until they closed, which was early enough. The rooftop terrace has a spectacular view of the cathedral and the Giralda tower, but the bar is not open. There is also no dinner at the hotel, but there are so many places nearby. The best thing is the location. It's pretty interesting staying in these medieval allies. The Real Alcazar palace is a must-see and you can spend all day there and still not see it all. The gardens are wonderful. The cathedral is huge and different from any that I have seen prior. And of course, you must walk up the 37 ramps of the Giralda tower. Take a stroll down to the river. Even the bull ring is nearby.

The good news:- it is absolutely ideally located for everything in the old town. There is a roof terrace with plunge pool at the hotel that can be used which they don't tell you about! The free walking tour is worth doing especially on a first trip to Seville to help get your bearings. Now for the bad: Having booked a ground floor twin room 5 months in advance, we were given a double on the first floor. After complaining and insisting on seeing the manager he eventually got us an incredibly uncomfortable camp bed for our first night. They did give us the room we had booked for the remaining 2 nights - but with stained linen on one of the beds. The breakfast is not a buffet as stated - it is very much portion controlled on a tray. Only one coffee capsule per person allowed (more available at additional cost). It is very noisy with banging doors (2 heavy front doors and each individual suite) going most of the night as well as a noisy pedestrian street with no double glazing. The nearest taxis can get to the hotel/suites is less than a 5 min walk. Not all suites have a kettle -so if you need one, check it is there. Apart from stained linen the rest was clean enough but housekeeping and some of the receptionists (not Alejandro) need re-training.

★★★★★ I recently stayed at Hotel Giralda Center and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was incredibly clean and modern, and it was equipped with everything I needed during my stay. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a great variety of options. It was within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions, which made exploring the city a breeze.

We thought this hotel felt quite nice and fancy. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Some other reviews complained that it was dated. Our room and hallway must have been recently renovated. Hotel seemed like it was in very good shape. Few restaurants/bars in the neighborhood. Breakfast was good. I didn't see any indication that there was a pool (though there is a gym next door) or an on-site restaurant or bar.

The Monte Carmelo hotel is located in the Los Remedios neighborhood, in Seville, a 10-minute walk from Triana, the center... It's a very comfortable and clean hotel, with very friendly staff. The rooms aren't huge, but they're comfortable. The bed is excellent.

Experiencia muy buena, las instalaciones estaban bien, la zona del exterior es lo que más nos gustó. En la habitación, espaciosa, con buena iluminación, acogedora, la cama de matrimonio es grande y muy cómoda. Sin embargo, la nevera no enfriaba mucho, el aire o el acondicionado no funcionaba, había una ventana muy pequeñita que apenas entraba iluminación natural y la mampara de la bañera que se salía el agua afuera al ducharse. El buffet regular, desde nuestro punto de vista un poco caro para el precio que tenía y la consumición aparte. Por lo general genial!

Grata experiencia, personal muy agradable, un desayuno más que decente por su precio. Muy buena ubicación y aunque tiene parking de pago, es facil aparcar por los alrededores. La habitación limpia y bien recogida, el gimnasio suficiente para unos días y todo el material en buen estado. Volveré

We stayed here for 6 days and it was a great stay. The staff are very welcoming and we were greeted by lots of friendly faces when we arrived. Antonio was on the front desk and was so helpful and friendly. There was another man and lady also on the desk in the week who were also very friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very well looked after.I travel alot but this was the best hotel hairdryer I have ever used!!!! The breakfast was great! Lots of choice and they even had a tea station.I didn't eat any cake but the chocolate cake looked divine. It was a very pleasant and relaxing breakfast room. The pool was lovely and lots of sunbeds and huge parasols if you wanted shade from the sun. We ate in the cafeteria attached to the hotel and the food was lovely and very reasonably priced along with the beer. I would like to mention Carlos and another gentleman with a beard who worked in the cafeteria who were very attentive and we don't speak Spanish and they tried really hard to understand us and did respond in English.There was another young lady that was often in the breakfast room who was very helpful. The hotel is a short bus ride away from the city The bus stop is a 5 min walk away and only €1.30 per person to get to the city.The bus is air conditioned and very comfortable. We got a taxi to the hotel from the airport which was €25 and €35 back but the hotel organised the return You can use Uber too. We will 100% stay here again when we visit Seville.
