The location is fantastic and the host is very helpful and responsive. The apartment is in a traditional long tang style complex and a great way to experience more local / traditional Shanghai.

I stayed here during May Day holiday, it’s the perfect location. Located on Fuxing Middle Road, which is in the heart of the French concession, it’s really convenient. I went to Shanghai to visit friends and this apartment was great for a five day trip! The host was lovely and added my WeChat, communication was seamless and she was so accommodating and sent me a lot of information and was easily contactable throughout the trip. I would definitely stay again

Very nice hotel owner, this place is about a 10-15 minute walking distance to the nearest train station. Though, you can clearly hear footsteps and sounds outside, the place is not as clean but it’s pretty comfortable.

This was a beautiful little home stay in the heart of Xuhui. I chose this for its proximity to my friend’s wedding venue which was only a 20 minute walk. It’s also near Fuxing Park where all of the nightclubs are stacked into a single large building. The only issues I had were with cleanliness and amenities, although they were minor. Cleanliness: the dishes were stacked together on the counter, but each dish still had a pool of water in them. I didn’t realize this until late into my first night. Also, the cleaner wore her outside shoes right into the unit after my checkout, meaning the floor was probably not sanitary during my check in. Amenities: No hand soap — only a container of hand sanitizer in the bathroom. I’m not a fan of hand sanitizer and would’ve preferred hand soap. Overall, it’s a great stay that I would certainly come back to. WARNING: This listing is weird because it’s a homestay/airbnb, and the host didn’t provide an address until I called and asked. She’s lucky I spoke Mandarin and had WeChat. Makes me wonder how she would provide these to a foreigner who can’t speak mandarin and doesn’t use wechat.
