Hotel berhampiran I'M DAVID, Shanghai

I’ll review the hostel in terms of bedroom, demographics, location, cleanliness, and facilities. Bedroom: Got a 6-bedroom room, was quite a cozy and comfy place to sleep in, AC was just nice. Room mates were generally respectful and quiet when it was resting time but you if you’re a light sleeper you might get awaken easily when people check in late/shower late. Earplugs are provided though. Blackout curtains were very helpful for privacy and sleep. There are lockers to lock belongings and smaller bags but not huge enough for a luggage. Demographics: This one’s for international travellers haha - most people staying are Chinese, with few foreigners. I did manage to make friends and plans with other international travellers so it is decently international. The front desk is capable of speaking English so no worries on that. Location: Very central location, quite close to the metro and other tourist sites. Has a lot of food and convenience shops nearby. Cleanliness: Decently clean but if you’re sharing room with others then the room might get cluttered with everyone’s belongings. Note that you have to put on the bedsheets, duvet covers, pillow case upon checking in (provided). Facilities: Toilet was decently clean, soap and shampoo was provided, there are hooks to hang clothes on but do bring a plastic bag because your stuff might get wet.

Biliknya tidak besar tetapi sangat bersih, dengan kemudahan yang agak lengkap Lokasinya baik, pengangkutannya mudah, dan ia mudah untuk pergi ke mana-mana sahaja.

Stayed here because of its historic value. It is indeed one of the first hotels of Shanghai. The rooms have that old style while staying modern. Modern toilet and TV. However, I find the service staff not very helpful. I ordered delivery food. Hotel refuses to allow delivery drivers to go up the rooms. Fine, so would they bring it up? No, they make you come down to the lobby and pick them up from a delivery box with QR codes to scan all in Chinese. Not very helpful for seniors. The main elevators require the room key before using as a safety measure. Good, but then the service elevators 100 meters further don't require anything. Nice one! For the price you pay is good I guess. Great location.

Ini adalah hotel yang saya menginap setiap kali saya datang ke Shanghai. Lokasinya di sepanjang Jalan Nanjing, berhampiran dengan stesen, dan harganya berpatutan, jadi saya fikir saya akan tinggal di sana lain kali. Imej itu adalah pintu masuk belakang.

Perjalanan adalah sangat mudah Anda boleh sampai ke hotel kira-kira 400 meter dari stesen kereta api bawah tanah. Bilik dan koridor sangat bersih, dan terdapat minuman percuma di dalam peti sejuk kecil di dalam bilik. This hotel is my least favorite after travelling around china for 10 months. Although the location is pretty nice, but other points I would give it a minus. As we had two stays at this hotel (we went to another city for one night), I'm going to review it in two posts with the same content. Room interior: 3/10 - I'm so glad that I stayed at this hotel with my closest friend, and not family. It would be so awkward if I were to take a bath and my parents can see me through the glass. Yes it's not that clear, but you will definitely see each other's body. We had to turn back when we took a shower, and it's super uncomfortable. You also have to hang your clothes and towel outside the shower room door as well - The control button panel is very confusing. I don't mind most of it but the 'open the door' button. I find it's very dangerous when I just want to turn off all lights but open the door instead - Soundproofing was not that good. As we stayed at lobby floor, we always heard - The room interior on my second stay was very poor. It's smaller than the first and the window was super small like there's none. Amenities 3/10 - There is nothing such 'smart toilet'. It's very normal, so I'm pretty disappointed cuz it's one criteria I chose this hotel (my friend came from japan, and I especially chose this for her) - No bathrobe as listed (again, for my friend, she usually uses bathrobe as pajamas in japan and didn't take pajamas with her on this trip. We had a busy time finding new pajamas) - No soft drinks as listed - No guest laundry as listed Cleanliness: standard 10/10 (just look vintage, but no dusts) Luggage storage SAFETY: 3/10 I don't mind when we had to take our luggage to the storeroom by ourselves, but no one cared when we took them back. They didn't pay attention on which bags I took at all. We can just give them our luggage storage tag and go to take ours directly, without checking Front desk: 7/10 - the first stay was normal. They can speak some english. Their services was normal - On my second stay, the front desk guy who I didn't see during first stay was super super friendly and full of service mind. He was very nice and smiley while helping me register and helped me talking to the food delivery rider. The other was not bad. Location 9/10 - right on East Nanjing road - ~5 min walk to both east nanjing road and ppl square metros - It's a bit tiring to go back from the bund, but not that bad for people's in 20s

Saya tidak tahu banyak tentang hotel Shanghai. Saya mencarinya di Ctrip untuk masa yang lama, berfikir bahawa saya akan salah Tetapi saya dan anak perempuan saya sangat berpuas hati dengan hotel ini Bund, dan ia sangat mudah untuk dimakan. Saya masih akan memilihnya apabila saya datang ke Shanghai pada masa hadapan.

This was my first stay in hotel Chalet. The best things are location, cleanliness, interesting breakfast. They might improve wifi as in my room 8509 was working really slowly or not at all. The staff is not the best in English or don’t talk at all, but they use translators and always are willing to help. I still give a 5star review as i liked my stay.

Kemudahannya agak lama, dan tong sampah di dalam bilik tidak ditutup dengan beg sampah. Sinki besen kadangkala longgar dan kadangkala ketat. Saya mendaftar masuk dengan anak-anak saya dan meminta meja depan untuk membawa sepasang selipar lagi pada hari itu. Mereka tidak membawanya selepas daftar keluar. Lokasi hotel adalah baik, dengan Jalan Pejalan Kaki Jalan Nanjing di luar pintu.
