Hotel terbaik di Sommacampagna

This was a great hotel, right next to Verona airport. My wife and I with a 16 and 11 year old stayed a night to make an early flight the next day, the parking was great and easy. The hotel design was really nice and modern. Our room was amazing it had a seperate room with a double sofa bed for the kids, our room had a super king, with seperate rooms for basins, shower, bath and toilet. The main bath was big, it even had a large chandalier in it, it was that big. They had an abundance of bathing ammenities, everything you would only normally get in a high end hotel. A fully stocked complimentary mini bar with snacks, free mini bar. This has to be one of the best value hotels I've ever stayed at, it was fantastic. We used the onsite pizza/pasta restaurant which was again fantastic and so cheap, unbelievably cheap, again if the DB hotel people can deliver this level of experience at this price point then the Marriott's and the Hiltons of this world need to look out. We will absolutely be back, thank you so much DB Hotel Verona we will see you again.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura in occasione della fiera cavalli e devo dire che già all'arrivo con la macchina si vede la cura di questa location. Il proprietario di una gentilezza unica appena arrivati in camera ci ha spiegato i materiali xhe sono stati utilizzati e l'arredamento scelto tutto curato e pulito nei minimi dettagli. La camera e il bagno molto spaziosi e dotati di tutti i comfort , letto e cuscini comodissimi. La colazione è servita al tavolo dal propietario jogurt, cereali, pane, marmellata, cappuccino , ciambellone appena fatto,succo di frutta fatto con l'estrattore panini con il salame ,focaccia con il cotto tutto fresco e buonissimo in più nel tavolo della sala sono presenti the/tisane nutella fette biscottate biscotti vari ecc... in conclusione consigliatissimo!!!

Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel! When we first drove up is only 5 mins away from the airport and is basically off a motorway so thought oh no originally, however when we got to the hotel there’s a big car park outside that you can park your car on for free (really helpful for us as we hired a car for driving to lake Garda and Venice) and the reception and facilities are really lovely. Beautiful pool outside and have a spa inside that is fully open on the weekend (in the week it’s just pool only). Staff are really friendly can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was buffet style with bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, cereals, different cakes everyday. It is not your typical full English as in no sausages or beans but is very filling and I really enjoyed the breakfast. For evening meal every night we were in Verona we went to Verona town centre which is about a 15 minute drive. We pre booked using the hotel free shuttle bus there and then got a taxi back as there werent times back we wanted for the shuttle and didn’t want to be on a time scale and taxi cost around 30 euro. Rooms are decent, spacious, a bit outdated in places. Had to give 4 stars as also had building work next to the hotel so could hear that but for us the hotel was so nice that didn’t bother us. You get what you pay for and the service was excellent. For me it is worth being further out from Verona as I love a pool and spa and time to relax which you wouldn’t have in the town centre. Being next to the airport turned into a plus for me also as no stress when picking and dropping off the hired car and when travelling to and from home.

Die Lage an einer verkehrsreichen Achse ist für einmalige Übernachtung bei schalldichtschließenden Fenster akzeptabel. Qualität und Ausstattung des Hotels ist hervorragend. Das gleiche kann man auch zum Frühstück sagen.

This is a large, impersonal “conference” hotel. Don’t expect anything like the photos online if you are looking for a romantic getaway. It isn’t at all “old world” and characterful…..it’s modern and large. Our room was okay, but a bit dated and nothing special ( we were in a “junior suite”). The bathroom is HUGE, but strange with an impossible “shower cabinet” the likes of which I have never seen before that is only fit for an oddly shaped human. On our second night there was a wedding in the courtyard outside our room (we were not warned about this) which featured loud music and screaming people (and children). The restaurant is okay, but for the price…..not worth it. We asked to speak to a sommelier and we’re sent a waitron who told us she “likes wine”! We were on a trip to experience and taste wine from this region, so this was seriously annoying! We had to ask to please speak to the sommelier! The lighting in the restaurant is bright and rather more “canteen” than expensive restaurant. If you want to use the spa, you have to BUY a swimming cap…..you’d think for the prices they charge, they could include one! Breakfast is fine….but it is a large, impersonal room with an industrial size buffet. If that’s your thing, then fabulous! We traveled from far for this trip and we spent a lot of time looking for the best accommodation options and places to visit……..sadly, Villa Quaranta will go on our list as a bad mistake.

The fabric of the hotel is very good. Clean and fresh and so it should be as I believe it has recently been refurbished. If you want a hotel where there is daytime/night time entertainment this is not for you. It is generally a quiet relaxing hotel. Children are allowed but they will have to provide their own entertainment. There are three pools, one in the spa, one adults only and one that children can use. The pool bar was not in operation while we were there. The hotel is a 50 min walk from the town of Lazise on reasonable paths that are shared with cyclists. But you take your life in your own hands as the cyclists and scooter riders just fly past with no warning. A taxi into town costs 15-20 euro. There is no shuttle bus at the hotel even though it indicates there is on the trip advisor hotel listing. And to the reviewer who says it is a 5 min walk to the lake..you are wrong. I would say it is at least 15 mins and that includes a shortcut through a vineyard and a campsite. The rooms are a decent size. Storage for clothes could be improved with more drawer/shelf space. There is a fridge (no mini bar) which on arrival has two bottles of water in. It seems pot luck as to whether the water is replenished. A good size TV but maybe only 3 English channels (news). The bedside lamps are quite dim...not enough light to read by. All rooms have a balcony or terrace for ground floor. There was no milk to make hot drinks. We purchased some from the local supermarket. Breakfast is more or less typical for a holiday hotel. Fresh fruit..well melon and pineapple, yogurts. Continental style with meats and cheeses plus a pastry section. Don't expect a full English here.... there is bacon, fried egg and sausage but that is all. The food was a decent quality. There is a gripe I do have in that when the bread ran out we were tod it was finished and no more would be coming out.....this wasn't at the end of the breakfast sitting but with still 45 mins to go. NOT ACCEPTABLE. One thing that we observed was a family who loaded up breakfast food of all description including fresh fruit, as well as taking water bottles from the display and then blatantly took it back to their rooms. They took plates piled high and filled bags. It wasn't as if they were having breakfast in their rooms as they were eating breakfast in the dining room. They were clearly taking food to eat later in the day! The staff knew but did nothing. Maybe that is why they ran out of bread. We only dined in the evening twice. The menu is not extensive .....in fact there were only two choices of main meal. Other course were labelled starter, first course, second course, so maybe you are supposed to have one of each course because the size of the main dish is not huge. If you have a decent appetite you will need more than one course. The main problem with this hotel is the lack of staff. There was not enough waiting staff at all so tables were delayed in getting cleared and more importantly food

Great hotel and lovely atmosphere. All it was very good also the food. My children really enjoyed tge animation after dinner time. We had a departure quite early in the morning and they prepared for us 2 big breakfast. Wonderful service. I'll come back for sure.

Schoon en mooi hotel. Jammer dat er foto’s worden weergegeven die niet kloppen. Het zwembad wordt sinds de nieuwe eigenaar niet meer gebruikt, maar door de foto’s op trip.com dachten we dat het een aanwezige faciliteit is. Wij hadden bewust gekozen voor een hotel met zwembad, maar dat heeft helaas geleid tot een teleurstelling.
