Swiss-Belhotel Sorong

"Walking distance to the Sorong-Waisai ferry, western & local options for the breakfast buffet and great staff. Could be cleaner, the streets are noisy at night & the facilities are getting old. However, I’m not aware of the other options in Sorong… perhaps this one is the best. Do yourself a favor and book the VIP tickets for the ferry!"

"Nearby to some restaurants is about the best thing going for this hotel. Roof top pool area has no shade during the day. The all you can eat bbq they do is really good meal when it is on"

"There are two M Hotels, next to each other. Friendly staff showed us the fancier place where our room was well prepared. A friend stayed at the cheaper M Hotel and wasn't very happy. We were happy with our room(s); (we extended our stay twice). The hotel needs some maintenance, but generally the rooms are clean and most electronic equipment is working. Wifi is OK. We didn't make use of the breakfast, as we are early birds."

"Very bad, the location is ok, but the hardware is very outdated, too old, and the hygiene is not good. The air conditioning in the lobby is not turned on, it is very hot, and many sheets are dirty"

"When I arrived I was poorly welcome as they couldn't find my booking, after 15 min of waiting instead of saying "sorry we finally found your booking" I got "give us 50K for the deposit of the key". The room as expected was tiny and didn't have windows, but the strong mold smell in the room without proper ventilation was the most problematic. At least, despite being in poor condition and absolutely not like in the pictures anymore, I had a clean bed, a warm shower and AC. Only good for sleeping a couple of hours before catching an early morning flight at Sorong Airport."
