Bougainvillea Relais

This is a charming bed and breakfast in the heart of Sorrento. The room was small but adequate for our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was incredible (Although we paid extra to have it included... but well worth it!). We also had to pay extra to use the pool at a neighboring hotel. Maria Teresa was an amazing ownes/hostess and provided much help to us. She was always available when needed. We had a most enjoyable time and loved Sorrento.

Travelled with my wife to Sorrento for a 3 night stay and we stayed at the lovely Bougainvillea Relais apartments. We were greeted by Maria on arrival (who is such an amazing person) and she couldn't have made her stay any more special if she tried. The apartment is contemporary, spotless and in a great location within Sorrento. When we visit again in the future we will definitely stay here again. Thank you again Maria for everything. Mark

An absolutely wonderful stay! Teresa made us feel immediately welcome and was on hand throughout our stay to help with anything and everything. Gorgeous modern room with balcony overlooking the lemon trees. Yes it’s also over a busy street but it’s nice to watch the world go by. You cannot hear a thing when you have the doors shut, so noise is not a problem. Very nice rooms and ultra comfy beds. Breakfast delivered daily to your room is a nice touch. Teresa booked us a boat trip to Capri which was just wonderful. We did use the pool for €20 per day, but there is no shade or umbrellas to use so we only stayed an hour as it was too hot for us. But a very nice pool. The sports bar below the apartment is great and a super friendly family run business. Teresa recommended a restaurant across the road which was incredible and worth the wait. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to town centre or pretty much everywhere, so very convenient. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. You will not be disappointed. Cannot wait to go back again.

A great location to enjoy beautiful Sorrento. Maria was superb, had our backs the whole time. She organised trips and last minute panic airport tranfer for us due to someone else letting us down. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast service in the room was well presented and a nice start to the day. We would recommend Bougainvillea Relais to anyone interested in visiting the area.

My wife and I have just returned from a super holiday in Sorrento staying at Bougainvillea Relais B&B. The room was clean and comfortable and the air con was very welcome on some extremely hot nights. The room is situated on the main road which was a bit noisy but we enjoyed being in the thick of the action and got used to it. Watching the traffic from the balcony was entertaining and a welcome change from our quiet accommodation at home. Sorrento is a busy, bustling city with lots of places to see and loads of great restaurants and bars. The centre of town is a pleasant 15 minute walk and if you want to the sea front down below there is a lift that opens early and closes late. The breakfast was lovely, and delivered to our room by a very nice staff member named Saman every day at exactly the time we asked for it. Maria the proprietor was super helpful and got us booked into the 3 big excursions we wanted to do, Capri by boat, Pompei and Herculaneum and Amalfi Coast. All 3 trips were for the whole day. The Capri trip included a 3 hour stop on the island and we went Anacapri and rode the chair lift the the pinnacle of the island. The views were amazing. Maria also arranged for us to have front row seats for the England football games at the family restaurant in the town centre. The hospitality and food was miles better than the football! We spent a couple of days at the Hotel Flora swimming pool of that Maria arranged for us at 20 euro pp inc lounger and towel. Ot was not to busy and is very clean with a nice restaurant bar. On our final day we booked the hydrofoil boat to Naples to visit the archaeological museum and have a wonder round which was very enjoyable. Tip: there are a 3 bar restaurants under the appt which are very good, Cicina 246 was our favourite and served a good range of food and drink and had a friendly family atmosphere.

We had the most amazing time here. Rooms are cosy clean and modern . The location was great and close to everything. The owner Maris Teresa was the kindest and most helpful lady. She organised our tips to perfection and she only recommends company’s she trusts to give her customers the best experiences and it doesn’t cost any more that if you booked a trip from the street vendors. Also, our beautiful breakfast was delivered by a lovely guy every morning and put out on the balcony for us to enjoy, it really made our stay super special. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.
