Cari Hotel 2-Bintang di Hiroshima

We arrived in Hiroshima by train and this hotel is super close to the train station so it was super easy to get to and from here with literally a 5 minute walk. It looks like the area has been redeveloped a bit so there's a bunch of good restaurants around the hotel. There is also a tram stop right around the corner so even though it's location is a bit far from all the sightseeing in the city you can get there easily by just hopping on one of the cool streetcars. The room itself is on the small side but the bed was super comfy. Shared bathrooms and toilets were clean most of the time and pretty spacious too. The downstairs common room and kitchen is great, there's so many kitchen appliances and utensils to use which was great. There's a bunch of manga books and boardgames too for some entertainment. The room could do with a few hooks to hang up stuff on the wall. Since the room is really small and there's no space for anything other than the bed and the tiny table with a stool it'd be a great solution to add some sort of storage for things like coats and bags etc. Unfortunately the cafe was closed when we were there so haven't been able to try this.

The hotel is a little outdated, and there are a lot of people sharing each shower and toilet. Perhaps I went at a quiet time of year, but I didn't find this to be an issue, the toilet and shower were always free when I wanted them. The location is also convenient.

I spent a night here while backpacking around Japan with a JR Rail Pass. The place was easy to find with my phone guiding me. Maybe a little far from Hiroshima station to roll a suitcase with wheels over noisy road surfaces at night, but not bad for those travelling lightly. It's also not far from the local sports stadium. First floor of this hostel is a sports bar/restaurant. The hostel entrance is off to the left side of the building front. One of the staff from the bar will come to a window to get you checked in. Once checked in you will have in/out privileges with a passcode. The second floor is a living room type common area. There are couches, desks, manga to read, a guitar to play with and sightseeing info available here. Also stairs leading down to the sports bar and you can hear the patrons down there clearly. Once the bar closes for the night, this common room is also closed to hostel guests. The rest of the floors are sleeping and restroom areas. Unlike a typical capsule hotel this one looks handmade with wooden capsule and ladders. It was actually more comfortable than other capsules I stayed in on this trip. The futon mattress felt fluffier than normal. There was a privacy curtain but there was no way to seal and lock it as in many other capsule hotels. The price was extremely reasonable and I will probably stay here again on a future trip to Hiroshima.

위치가 진짜 넘사벽이에요. 쇼핑이 목적이라면 여기 호텔 강추합니다. 짐들고 다닐 필요가 없어요. 물건사서 호텔들려서 놓고 다시나가면 되거든요. 근데 메트리스가 좀 오래된거 같았어요.. 방음도 잘 안되는거 같아요. 옆방 코고는 소리가 들렸거든요.. 근데 가성비랑 위치가 너무 좋아서 다음에 또 이용할 생각 있어요!

This was my first capsule experience and honestly it has everything that you would need for a short stay. I was also surprised at how quiet it was once you are in your capsule. The capsules are also much bigger than expected! It's handy that the toilet, shower, and sink area are all in separate areas. All are really clean as well, perhaps because it's a woman's only floor! I stayed in a ”superior” capsule which was a little like having the lower bunk bed but the top bunk is separated off. It was in its own little room which a partician door but the door doesn't lock. You do get a locker inside this area which does lock for your valuables. Sadly the thing lowering the rating for me was the comfort of the bed. The mattress was extremely thin and I just couldn't get comfortable. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet hoping for extra comfort but that didn't help either. The capsule is also quite chilly. They had the Aircon on and you cannot control that for your room although the capsules do also have their own air con if you are travelling in summer and need extra cooling.

what a wonderful place to stay. its about a 12min walk with luggage from the station. nice walk along the river. the room we had was spacious and it was good to have that room to spread out. bed was comfortable. a lot of light into the room and we could have windows opened. the bathroom was amazing. above the bath were racks where you could put your washing and then press a button to dry your clothes after closing door. ( i want one at home) first time we had somewhere to hang our towels properly. if you dont want your room cleaned each day they had a basket downstairs near the door where they put extra towels/toilet paper etc. great idea. didnt like the coffee and there was no tea, which was unusual. they had a note about getting ear plugs if it got noisey - i am a light sleeper and i never heard one thing - its all soundproof. easy walk to the bus station to go to peace park and other places. about 10mins to restaurants and shops

共用のシャワー・トイレだけど、一人旅や価格安く抑えたい人には十分！ 部屋の鍵は暗証番号なので、鍵を持ち歩かなくていい⭕️ 基本的に受付にスタッフいないが、タブレットでチェックインできる 予約番号の入力が必要だが、もらっているメッセージの番号を入力してもNGだったのが残念 しかし、夜間の緊急連絡先に連絡し、遅くても対応してくれたので、問題なくチェックインできました！ 小さいですがローソンも近くにあります！ お部屋には空気清浄機もあり、快適に過ごせます✨
