AANASTASIIA_BERDNIKOVAThis hotel is a paradise in the mountains of Hakone! Traditional style of the rooms - it feels like you are living in a Japanese family. We were prepared a traditional dinner, which was served in our room. It was very tasty and varied! The hotel has 3 onsen: 2 - private, 1 - public. We visited only the private ones (you need to book a time in advance at the reception upon check-in, the visit time is 30 minutes). It was wonderful! The hotel also provides a transfer from and to the nearest train stations. The rooms are clean, cozy, we slept on tatami under soft blankets. The hotel has a relax room. With massage chairs and a very quiet atmosphere. We stayed in this room after visiting the onsen and got great relaxation. And you are also given national clothes for rest and sleep. It is very beautiful and cute. Breakfasts were also in kaiseki style - varied and unusual. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. this hotel allows tattoo baths. great experience, thank you very much! want to come back again!

ZZuiaijinmi環境：酒店位於山裡，空氣非常清新，夜晚很安靜，旁邊還有一個小河道和小瀑布。酒店距離箱根神社、蘆之湖等景點的距離也不遠。
服務：服務很周到，早飯很豐富，還可以預訂午餐和晚餐。
設施：酒店整體裝修還比較新，房間面積比起東京同價位酒店要大很多。酒店的温泉有室內和室外的，非常乾淨，聽着外面小瀑布的水聲泡着温泉很愜意。

MMiyangdejiyi來之前還很擔心，因為也看了很多褒貶不一的評價，但是最終沒有選擇更換其他酒店，主要看中的是離湯本站距離很近，交通方便。
來到之後發現，個人而言這裏很好～
首先房間很大，雖然房間設備舊，依然是按鍵開關，不是插卡就通電的現代感房型，但這種傳統和式房的年代感還不錯～
其次夏天山腳下帶露天私湯的房間，沒有看到蚊子很滿意～僅僅在入住當天看到一衹未知蟲子，就再也沒看到蚊蟲，特別是温泉池的水一直是循環流動的，水面並沒有漂浮不該有的任何東西；且晚上泡着温泉看天空的星星很愜意～
早晚餐看上去一小份一小份的上量都不大，但是在最後根本吃不下（𖦹.𖦹）
最後無論是前台辦入住，還是早晚用餐 整體服務態度都很好～

GGrigorii RyzhkovОпыт проживания в этом рёкане я бы посоветовал хотя бы раз испытать каждому. Огромный номер с кухней, столовой, спальней, ванной, туалетом и собственно горячей ванной. В комнате с ванной нет окна, но из-за того, что ванная горячая прохлады не ощущается, зато можно наслаждаться видами гор.
Ужин и завтрак — мое почтение! Гигантские и сытные, но в японском духе. Любителям континентальных завтраков в обычных отелях будет грустно.
Персонал приветливый. Пытаются говорить на английском. Не всегда получается понять друг друга, но очень стараются! За это отдельный плюсик!

However, the ryokan is quite old, and inside all the rooms there is a smell of age, which makes it not very pleasant to stay there.
The Japanese food is very specific — it’s just my personal taste, but I couldn’t have breakfast or lunch there.
Considering that this was the most expensive “hotel” during our 14-day trip around Japan, our expectations were a bit higher.
In any case, we thank the staff for this unique experience.

1. Large spacious and clean room. Certainly an upgrade from the smaller Tokyo city rooms we were in.
2. The medicinal tea bar was a hit with our group and an interesting touch to the hotel.
3. The public baths (onsen) were well maintained and clean.
4. The hotel provides yukata robes that you can change into.
5. Breakfast and dinner were decent and necessary judging by the limited number of eateries in the area. There is Gora Brewery just behind the hotel and a Daily Yamazaki convenience store just 1 min walk.
6. You can get to Gora Park in 1 min.
Tips to get from Gora station to hotel and vice versa
1. Walking. The steep slope is really not for the faint hearted.
2. When you get off at Gora, hop onto the Tozan line from Gora and get off at Koen Shimo (1 stop). It is covered if you buy the Hakone Free Pass. From Koen Shimo, it is a straight walk to the hotel. Much easier than climbing the slope.
3. Hotel shuttle. From Gora station exit, turn right and you will see an underpass. Go through it and this is where the shuttle picks / drops. We didn’t manage to find out how to get the shuttle from Gora station, but from the hotel - you should book the shuttle in advance as it can get full especially during check out time.

PPengguna TetamuSuch a great find! Calming ryokan in a peaceful part of the mountain. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating of us as tourists who didn’t speak Japanese. Every meal was delicious and the staff took time to tell us what each little dish was and even gave us some extra mini dishes to help us try different things. They were all delicious! The onsens were also very relaxing and had everything you could need. My boyfriend and I booked the private onsen our last night and looking out over the mountain at night when it was raining was a great experience. We got the Japanese style room and it was very spacious and the tatami floors were very comfortable. View over the mountains was also terrific. The ryokan shuttle took us to the nearest two train stations (Gora or Sounzan) in the morning when we requested and picked us up at the end of the day so it was very convenient getting to the ryokan even without a car. Highly recommend this stay!!

QQinmingReally enjoyed my stay at Root Hakone. I reached a little late (around 7:30-8pm) and the walk to the hostel was a little dark (roads on Hakone aren’t that well-lit at night due to it being a forested area). So recommend to reach earlier if you’re not that comfortable with walking in the dark alone!
The accommodations were comfortable, single futon bed with lockable room doors, separated by a divider. Was initially expecting just a cubbie with a curtain so this was a pleasant surprise. There’s also a direct bus nearby to Togendai Station if you’re keen to take the sightseeing cruise and ropeway.
The drinks made by the staff were also wonderful, enjoyed a cassis soda, cassis oolong and fuzzy navel at a great price. The management also gave a guide of nearby recommended places to travellers too (had the best coffee at Amaze Coffee, recommendation of the staff)! Overall would come back to stay again if I’m ever back in Hakone.
A downside is perhaps the lack of availability of food options at night and no near konbini so be sure to grab some supplies at the station prior to heading over.

認認真評價經評論說位置很遙遠，距離箱根Tang本車站10多分鐘路程，我認為路幾好行，對住行李箱也不會太疲倦，沿着江邊走別有一番風景，距離不算近，但也可接受。
對比起近一些的酒店，雖然遠幾分鐘路程，但係性價比更好。
日式房間入面有私人洗手間，但沒有淋浴間，所以都一定要到樓下澡堂洗澡，洗澡位置比較光猛，馬油洗頭水及沐浴露好用，浸浴的水夠熱，整體挺舒服的。唯獨是風筒風力很低，吹頭吹很久。
沒有什麼服務，除了check-in幫忙拿行李一會兒，期間沒有清潔，離開的時候也沒有送門，但是可以接受，因為他沒有收清潔費等他額外費用。
房間的門感覺兒戲，上了鎖，但是覺得有些鬆鬆的。
一切都還好，最不滿意的是房間沒有能打開的窗戶，房間的窗戶沒有配置窗簾，晚上睡覺時窗戶是透光的，早上起床時，陽光很刺眼，影響睡眠。

Плюсы: сам отель, вежливый персонал, чистый большой, атмосферный номер с видом на горы, в стоимость входит общественный онсен, достаточно приятный особенно если вам повезет быть там одному, как повезло нам (были утром). В отеле есть автоматы с напитками и едой, что очень удобно, т к магазинов по близости нет. Можно заказать услугу отправки вашего багажа на станцию, чтоб не тащить самим, но мы не успели к сожалению, ее можно заказать до 10 утра.
Минусы: увы они сильно отпечатались, отель находит ся в ужасно не удобной отдаленной локации, прям в глуши куда сложно добраться, вдали от всех достопримечательностей за которыми вы едите, до них мы плыли на корабле, вдали от любых заведений где вы захотите раздобыть еду, заведения мало того что далеко, закрываются рано, открываются поздно, еще и цены завышены, а еда не вкусная.
Такси до места проживания вызвать не смогли, т к нужно было привязывать местный номер тел!сначала шли пешком с чемоданами по дороге, потом сели в автобус ( автобусы не принимали наш пасс, карту которую мы специально купили для Хаконэ, хотя автобусы в нее входят. А цена на них без карты явно завышена, 300р чтоб проехать 8 мин в гору.
Так как у нас был забронирован еще другой онсен индивидуальный в другом месте (20 мин езды) после него в 21 вечера поняли что автобусы уже перестали ходить, такси без шансов вызвать или поймать , пришлось идти пешком до отеля, а это 2 часа по темной дороге в горах, вокруг лес, и изредка попадаются фонари… ловили попутки никто не останавливается, даже такси. Спустя час дороги в гору (не передать наши эмоции) машина 10 по счету если не больше, остановилась и молодая пара японцев нас подвезла до отеля.
В общем сам отель хороший (кстати ночью еще было холодно, грелись кондиционером, но номер большой его сложно прогреть, спасибо были большие одеяла запасные) но все остальное в плане места ужас( Если будете останавливаться, заранее продумайте на чем будете ездить.
