Hotel Chania dengan Kolam Renang

The hotel is in a perfect location. The staff are all wonderful and nothing it too much for them.

Sansal Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a location incredibly close to old town Chania and also the beach! It is a clean and modern hotel with excellent amenities. Our room had large glass windows on two sides of the bedroom, offering a lovely view of the sea! We also had a covered outdoor patio and sitting area to enjoy the view. The bathroom was large, and so was the shower. Breakfasts were plentiful; there was a large selection of food, and also a chef to make omelettes and other hot food options. The rooftop pool and bar were such a nice bonus! We relaxed there quite a few days in the afternoon, then easily walked to Chania or the beach areas for the remainder of the day. It was a fantastic location, don't think twice about staying at Sansal Boutique Hotel!

Die Lage des Hotels ist definitv sehr gut und ein Plus Punkt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und die Dame an der Bar hat uns ein Willkommensdrink gegeben. Das Hotel wirkt am Eingang recht hochwertig und man fuehlt sich gut aufgehoben. Ich würde sagen es hat kein 5-Sterne Niveau, aber so um die 3,5-4 absolut. Das Zimmer das wir bekommen hatten, hatte leider keine Fenster (in der Beschreibung stand es gibt eins). Kein Problem für uns. Unsere größter Kritikpunkt ist, da es in der Dusche keine Tür gab, weil diese entfernt wurde. Somit konnte man leider nicht richtig duschen ohne Wasser nach außen zu spritzen. Als wir es beim Empfang bescheid gegeben hatten, gab es leider nur ein „wussten wir gar nicht“ und lieber ans klingelnde Telefon gehen und den Gast stehen lassen. Wer soll es dann wissen wenn nicht das Hotel, leider somit weit entfernt von 5-Sterne Service. Eine kleine Entschuldigung hatten wir erwartet, und das man sich dem Problem annimmt. Finde ich wirklich Schade, dass man so viel Geld und dann ein Zimmer bekommt, welches nicht dem Standard entspricht und eigentlich nicht auf dem gewollten Niveau ist um an Gäste vergeben zu werden. Zum Glück haben wir nur einen Tag hier verbracht und vorher in einem richtigen 5-Sterne Hotel die Woche verbracht. Ich kann hier wirklich nur overall 3/5 Sterne geben.

The room was spacious and the hotel was super clean and extremely comfortable. Everything felt brand new and the service was really 5 star. We were happily surprised to learn that the indoor swimming pool is actually just a giant jacuzzi. We spent an hour there on our last night which was super nice. The bed is really comfortable and the place is quiet. There is a valet service for parking your car and we got welcome drinks and snacks on arrival. Thanks again for the free bottle of wine and fruit bowl as a VIP welcome gift. We really enjoyed and will come back to this hotel if we ever visit Chania again one day.

We arrived at the hotel before our check in time due to an early morning flight from Cyprus. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage behind reception until the room was available. We were given 2 free drinks vouchers to use at the bar while we waited for our room. When entering our fifth floor sea view room (505) we were amazed and delighted at the modern luxurious standard consisting of a large double bed, wardrobe with a safe, dressing table 2 comfortable armchairs, a coffee table, hairdryer and clothes steamer. Separate toilet cubicle and a very large rain water shower with all the accessories you would need during your stay which included bathrobes, slippers, shampoo etc. and weight scales which we didn't use 😁 On the work top was a coffee maker machine with pods, kettle and complimentary water, wine and soft drinks in the fridge Also on the table was a tablet with which you could view the restaurant menu and spa menu and lots of information for your convenience. The sea view from the large glass fronted balcony was absolutely stunning and breathtaking and we could see almost to the harbour. Breakfast was included in our booking and was excellent with plenty of variety from cold platters, cereals, pancakes to English style hot breakfast. Our only issue was the plates for hot food were not warmed resulting in luke warm food. We did take this up with the hotel and received an email the next day to thank us for bringing it to their attention. We enjoyed a dinner at the hotel one night which was reasonably priced and of good quality. The hotel location was a 3 minute walk to the sea front with a further 15 minute walk to the harbour and shops and restaurants. Overall this hotel was very worthy of their 4 star rating and we will be back.

This is our third time at the Royal Sun and we just love going back to stay - it really is home from home. Like many of the reviews, the management and staff really make the stay so memorable. I have to give so much credit to Stefania and her wonderful team - from Eva, Emma and Maria on front desk right up to the fantastic super friendly restaurant team including Manta, Maria, Konstantina, Joanne and Harris. Sorry if I’ve left anybody out, but really they are all a wonderful bunch of people. Let’s not forget the housekeeping team too who are such a lovely friendly bunch and do a wonderful job keeping the rooms immaculate. The hotel is always super clean, the beds so comfy and the views - of course- stunning. We love the food in the restaurant at lunchtime too - so tasty with all fresh ingredients. You won’t find a hotel experience like this in Chania. It really is the town’s best kept secret. Needless to say, like so many people who come here, we will absolutely be back again. I cannot wait for next year, and thanks again for such a memorable stay.

Stayed here last month & it was a good choice; it is a large-ish hotel with the kind of close & personal attention you get in a boutique hotel. Since there were no open air concerts being held while we were there (arena is right next door), the hotel is in an otherwise quiet place, away from the very crowded tourist area. It is near Koum Kapi Beach & many seaside restaurants. Along with the breakfast room (breakfast is excellent with many, many choices of food items unique to Chania/Greece & a friendly staff), the gym is on the lower level, the pool is a good size & warm enough for us to swim our morning laps in, & the lobby has floor to ceiling windows, allowing in lots of natural light, a bar with super friendly bartenders & an outdoor patio up front. Our room was VERY tight, only about 18” (45+ cm) of space between the bed & utility counter so it was hard to pass by each other from one side of the room to the other & it had a step up into the bathroom that was a minor problem in the dark of night. We had a few problems in our room that housekeeping took care of immediately & that was much appreciated. There are other thoughtful amenities here: art in the dining room created by a local artist, a complimentary, small bottle of Raki & a bag of peanuts comes with the room as well as a bottle of water in the fridge (not all hotels on Crete do this due to water shortages on the island), management gave us coupons for free drinks after our room-problem issues, there is a pillow ”menu” listing different types of pillows available for use as well as advice on how to achieve better sleep. Our (tight) room faced the pool & mountains, had high ceilings, had a wall with an imprint of a very pretty domed church & it appears most rooms have some kind of wall art like this. Glad we chose the Kriti Hotel.

Centrally located and quiet. Amazing reception team, helpful, nice and kind. They helped us before and during our stay. The room was very very clean, modern and comfortable. I would definitely this place. I really appreciated the products for the shower , great quality. I wanted to buy them in the shop but I had to fly just with a backpack.
