GGuest UserWe had a wonderful trip with Capella Cruise from start to finish! Organised pick up and drop off from our hotel in old quarter via email before arriving (easy process) and drivers were great! Got to the port and got welcome drinks, then our cruise manager (Tom ”cruise” manager) gave us our keys and explained everything we needed to know for our stay plus our itinerary for the day on the tender boat as we made our way to the cruise! He was a wonderful manager the whole trip! our room was beautiful with ”corner” views of the bay and our own terrace balcony! we only stayed for one night and we think that's enough - we had buffet lunch after we arrived, and then it was time for water activities (pool, water slide, or kayaking), after relaxing abit it was time to enjoy the sunset with happy hour! the views from the top deck were amazing! we went to the spring roll cooking class before dinner and it was lots of fun! dinner time was set dinner - this was perhaps the only thing we thought could be different - dinner was western style, would have been better if it was Vietnamese cuisine! after dinner there were a number of activities you can do - we tried squid fishing (gave up quickly haha) then a group of us that all just met at the pool went to play poker - that was a lot of fun with the crew ******! next morning was an early start to visit the darken caves, sad we didn't get to see the monkeys, after that it was time for buffet lunch before going back to the port! all the crew were so nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay at the cruise! We would recommend just one night stay, second day would have been abit boring with repetitive things to do/eat!

MMolly22The place was great. The morning breakfast had a lot of variety but not too much western food. The restaurants they had were great and the quality of food was great. The speedboats going to and from the islands are always operating which is very convenient. The only downside would be the spa, we booked a 3 hour package and it was not that great. They were not very well trained. And the bedroom we had seemed to have bedbugs. They offered for us to go see the clinic they had on site but we didn’t have enough time. It was a good experience. Wouldn’t stay again though. But the pools were beautiful and the little private beach made it worth it.

DDaniel & Cici Around the WorldI had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The rooftop offered a beautiful view, and the restaurant had a good selection of meals.
The overall vibe of the hotel was lovely.However, I must express my disappointment regarding the fire alarm that went off multiple times during the early morning hours without any explanation. This was quite disruptive to my stay.Despite this issue, I highly recommend this hotel.
On a separate note, I visited the spa next to the hotel, 'Nature,' and while the services were excellent, I was shocked to learn about their labor practices. It's disheartening to know that the staff relies solely on tips without receiving a proper salary. Offering expensive services without fair compensation for the employees is unacceptable and tarnishes the experience of an otherwise enjoyable stay at the hotel. Many people go there, but they are supporting this labor exploitation.

GGuest UserThe service is very good, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good, and the CP value of living in a villa is high. It is not far from the night market and theme park, and it is within walking distance. The only disadvantage is that there is no dressing table.

AAnonymous UserI went on the cruise with my two sons, and we had a fantastic time. This was definitely the highlight of our entire Vietnam trip! The views were like heaven on earth, and being surrounded by karst islands from the ship felt truly magical.
Our room was spacious, and we made full use of the jacuzzi and balcony, soaking in the stunning scenery. While there were only a few activities, they were perfect for someone like me in my 60s or for those who prefer a more relaxing cruise experience. We still got to enjoy a bamboo boat ride, explore the Dark and Bright Cave, take part in a cooking class, fishing village tour, and try squid fishing
The food was excellent, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Thank you for making our Vietnam trip so memorable!

GGuest UserReally good experience. We got upgraded to honeymoon suite which was amazing. We actually extended our stay but the second night had one of the suites which wasn’t as spacious or clean. But the excursions and the views were just out of this world. Highly recommend doing the 3D2N as you can go to one of the local villages on cat ba island and cycle around. The staff were friendly especially Jannie. She spoke the best English.

Ha Long Bay is just a short taxi ride away if you want to explore the city.

HHenry ZawThis hotel boasts a convenient location and spacious rooms, although the bathrooms could be cleaner. The toilets lack hand sprayers or bidets, requiring the use of toilet paper. The air conditioning in the rooms is somewhat outdated and not very effective at cooling. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, most of which are satisfactory; however, I would prefer fewer dishes with a higher quality, similar to the breakfast at the Fansipan View Hotel. Overall, I would rate this hotel as three stars. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Please be aware that a nearby beach club plays loud music until 11:00 AM, which may disturb light sleepers.

GGuest UserThe rooms are clean, the equipment is simple and stylish, but the breakfast is really too simple and there is nothing to eat. In this day and age, people still use instant coffee. There is a coffee cup on the table. Do you have to take the cup to the dining counter to pour the coffee yourself? A bit weird. Fortunately, the restaurant waiters were friendly and diligent.
