Alles war sehr schön, wäre gut einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer zu haben.

Very good accommodation! Polite and helpful staff. I would like to give more than 10/10 if I could. Every detail was thought out and rooms have everything for having a restful stay for a night after a long journey as we had and for a longer stay too…. Comfortable beds, slippers in the bathroom very good breakfast….everything ! We definitely will choose this hotel again during our next drive to Italy.

The hotel is located off a divided road which isn't illuminated so slow down as it's easy to miss the entrance. Staff are accommodating and kind but they did close down for the night so check with them if you're going to be late. You absolutely need a car to get to this hotel. Our room was a triple room and very spacious. We could drive up and park outside hence the motel feel and it was very convenient having the car outside. The room had a strong smell which was a bit mouldy--I couldn't identify the smell. After being in the room awhile, we couldn't smell it anymore. Everything was clean though.The room was so warm that we had to shut off the heat and open the window. The water in the shower wasn't hot enough for my other half although it was fine by me and the floors are very slippery in the bathroom when wet.. You can hear the train going by every hour or so and the people upstairs but you couldn't hear the cars from the road. The train only went by once in the middle of the night. And the reason I know this is...my biggest bone of contention...the rock hard beds and the flat pillows. We came in late so we didn't call to ask for extra pillows thinking that the staff had left for the night so I slept with towels under my pillow but it was a difficult sleep for how hard the bed was. We definitely asked for them on the second night as it felt as though my neck and shoulders were going to break. Breakfast was very good; they had the usual cereals, fancy juices, baked goods, plus hot foods like eggs, bacon, hotdogs, etc. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near Malpensa the night before and the B&B Hotel's breakfast far exceeded it both in quality and variety. There's nothing around the area to walk to so factor in the cost of breakfast if you want it. The breakfast room was accessible from the interior door of our room and there was a lift and stairs so it was accessible for all. I would stay again but they definitely need to invest in mattress toppers and extra pillows for this old lady.

After a long time, finally an overnight stay in this beautiful hotel. Closed because of Covid, but now open again. Good: Friendly staff, very nicely furnished rooms (especially deluxe rooms and up). Great pillows, fast wifi, good lighting concept, nice terrace, big bathroom. Not so good: Breakfast room a bit cold in terms of a**osphere

Appena arrivati si ha una bella impressione: immerso nel verde, struttura carina, c'è la piscina. Tutto farebbe presupporre a un ottimo soggiorno. E invece... Pulizia camera appena sufficiente ma che necessiterebbe di manutenzione, era molto trascurata. Ma l'apoteosi la si raggiunge al ristorante... Entri e c'è una barca in mezzo alla sala (scelta discutibile per un posto a pochi km da Malpensa ma tant'è...), menù misto di mare e terra, optiamo per il menù del giorno: Spaghetti all'amatriciana che sapevano di nulla. Non pretendo il guanciale ma lì non c'era manco la pancetta ma un qualcosa simile al prosciutto cotto. Vitello tonnato che non era né vitello né tonnato ma della FESA DI TACCHINO, si quella che si compra in salumeria, messa in un piatto con sopra mezzo vasetto di maionese a provare a coprire il tutto e qualche cappero triste. Riportato indietro senza che la cameriera abbia battuto ciglio, come se per lei fosse una scena già vista. Carne di manzo arrostita appena accettabile. Patate al forno unte. Abbiamo preferito non fare colazione lì il giorno dopo e siamo ripartiti. P.s. mi è sfuggita la parete della nostalgia fascista altrimenti avrei messo qualche foto a testa in giù...

Besonderes Hotel mit schöner Lage über der Stadt und einem Blick über den Vareser See und die Berge. Man fühlt sich 100 Jahre in der Zeit zurückversetzt, ohne auf den heutigen Komfort verzichten zu müssen. Leckeres Frühstücksbüffet! Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Hotel. Wir waren in den letzten Jahren schon öfters hier und genießen es jedes Mal sehr. Der Zimmerpreis ist zwar deutlich gestiegen im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren, aber wir werden trotzdem wiederkommen :).

My wife and I discovered this wonderful place after traveling everywhere in Europe for the last 40 years. As a travel writer I have confidently shared our discovery of this wonderful place with many friends and readers. From the moment you arrive you receive a warm greeted by the most professional and caring staff. Everyone is attentive and truly want to make your stay a good one. When we arrived mid day we went to the pool for a wonderful lunch. Near us was a table with an attractive family, of 3 generations and their family dog, They were the family who owns and manages the property , ”eating their own cooking” as we say, and enjoying the quiet loveliness of their own property. There are 3 choices of accommodations here, each wonderful and meeting special preferences. We stayed in the Palazzo and loved it, but the Castello/Castle and its garden and views are outstanding. The rooms in the beautifully renovated stables with large grass common area are very accommodating, especially for families with children. The whole property is a destination in itself with so many things to see. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, all in totally different environments, and it all was superb. In closing, we all know that the staff makes all the difference wherever we stay. Again, the staff, and owners, could not be more welcoming, joyful and professional. We found this hotel while searching for somewhere to stay on Lake Maggiore. We were in Brig in Switzerland at the time and had been looking on the internet for a hotel near the lake in Stresa. We booked this hotel and what a great hotel it is, it's beautifully decorated it has nice sized comfortable rooms with balconies and it's 2 minutes walk from the lake and front of Stresa. The big bonus for us was that it also had underground parking which was great for us as we were are on a 6 week touring holiday on our Motorcycle. The staff at this hotel are so helpful and pleasant to talk to it just makes the stay even better. We will definitely recommend this Hotel to our friends if there thinking of coming to lake Maggiore everything about it was perfect for us just a great place to stay.
