Siamo stati benissimo, sia perché l'appartamento era di fronte alla piscina, sia perché c'erano pochissime persone. Come detto da altri, le aree verdi non era molto mantenute (erba alta e secca) ma credo dipenda dal fatto che la stagione non è ancora iniziata e lo spazio antistante la casa ha poca privacy per poca presenza/assenza di siepi (quindi per non andava benissimo visto che cera pochissima gente ma in alta stagione potebbe essere un problema). Ma detto questo appartamento esattamente come indicato, pulito, fresco, comodo e con tutto il necessario. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo sempre a giugno.

I was conflicted on whether or not to leave a review of this hotel. On one hand they totally deserve a glowing review because this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in France. On the other hand, the hotel is small and I don't want it to get too popular lest I can't get a room for the next trip. The hotel is situated on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. You pull up to a small driveway to the hotel manager who is waiting to greet you. She's a pretty woman, in her 50's who will become your hotel mom. When you come and go she will be excited to see you, know you by name, and will have everything you need taken care of. The rooms were nice with pretty views. The shower was particularly nice with two of those rain shower heads and a lot of pressure. It was fun showering together without my partner hogging all the water. The pool is an infinity pool, warmed by the sun, with some of the best views. The cabanas near the pool were our favorite. They had a canvas roof that you could adjust to let more or less sunlight in. The restaurant. The restaurant is one of the best in France. It is a Michelin star restaurant and produces the food for the restaurant and the hotel. So when you eat breakfast or lunch by the pool, the food is made by the same amazing Michelin star staff. Wow the food. We dined in the fancy restaurant, ordered room service, ate by the pool, on the deck, pretty much everywhere we could. The food was out of this world. For example, for one lunch, I ordered a salad. It was sort of like a Ceasar salad, but it had fresh cherry tomatoes, some homemade croutons, and an entire lobster worth of meat on it. Not only that, they took some of the lobster meat and fried it. The dressing was light allowing the fresh flavors of the salad to shine. This was one of the best salads I've ever had. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. The service from everyone in the hotel was out of this world. I can overlook a lot of negative things with a hotel stay when the food is good and service is great. This hotel had both great food and great service. I can't leave a hotel review without being critical about something. I guess if I had to complain, I'd say the hotel elevator is a bit on the slow side. I suggest you take the stairs instead.

Un grand merci à toute l’équipe de cet hôtel où on se sent comme à la maison. Les chambres sont très belles et très propres. Le petit déjeuner excellent. Le personnel souriant et accueillant. Une mention spéciale aux deux voituriers Gilles et Laurent qui s’occupent avec soin de garer les voitures et qui sont là avec le sourire en permanence. Let's do the good stuff first. Room was a decent size, with modern bathroom. Then the not so good stuff. Arrived just after 4.00 pm just wanting to check into our room and have a swim in the pool. Was told that our room would be ready in about 30 mins. Not good enough. Then went to the pool - which was closed - apparently there was glass in it. Looked to still be closed when we left the next day. Sun loungers are 40 euros per day per person. Complete and utter scam. I've never heard of such a thing. We declined - and glad we did so, given that even if the pool had been open, it's got a glass barrier around it so its not exactly somewhere you'd want to hang out. And the beach is very small and over crowded. River/golf course view from the room omits to mention that the immediate view is of a public car park and main road - with the river and golf course beyond that. Went to the bar with a glass, asking for some ice to take to my room. 'You have to call room service' they said. 'But I am literally right here in front of you' I replied. They weren't interested. The hotel is cheaper than Cannes, but still not inexpensive. And with the 30 km/h speed limit, its a good 15-20 mins drive. I booked this hotel having searched 'Cannes hotel with pool'. The pool was closed - and in any case, it was a pretty rubbish pool anyway. You'd forgive a lot of that if the service had been great - but it wasn't. And 40 euros per person for a sun lounger per day is unforgivable.

Great location close to Cannes with a brilliant pool which was spotlessly clean with plenty of sunbeds and surprisingly not too cold even in October. Toilets and showers were clean and staff on site really friendly. Unfortunately we had to be evacuated on our last night due to incoming storm but the staff dealt with it very well and refunded us the night's charge. Great location and we will definitely use again.
