The room had everything I needed. And the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a laundry area, so I was able to wash and dry clothes. There was also a microwave in the lounge room, which came in handy on days I didn’t want to eat out. There are a few convenience stores close by, with a 7-eleven next door. It was really easy to walk to the metro lines and Kanda station was well linked to the rest of the city. The area was quiet at night, which I liked after a busy day.

good for commute, suitable for work for a week, easy to find some food and drinks around the city, hotel is clean and silent.

location : super convenient to connect the Narita airport ＞ 6 mins walk to Keisei ueno station. Surrounded by many shops and walk to that places in a minutes Room : compact but good for solo traveler ( if you have many suitcases i would not recommended). The bed was comfy. I like it! 10/10 with this hotel.

We stayed in Sotetsu Freza inn for 5 nights. In a queen-bed room with 12squares space. Room is small. It’s understandable for Tokyo where land is premium. Has small window which can be opened about hand width for fresh air. No view other than building couple of feet away. However it’s well designed with everything you needed. Bathroom is a foot step up so be careful getting in and out. Basic amenities are ample, self collection from lobby in-front of reception. Individually controlled air conditioning which I was very pleased about. Coin laundry 2 in one washer and dryer. Simple breakfast for ¥600 is sufficient to get your day started. Lunch and snacks are also available for purchase from the same cafe till 2pm. Plenty of eateries nearby. Combines are everywhere. Bank close by. Train station 100meters away. 2 stops to Ginza or walk for 35mins. Tokyo station is walkable from hotel. I have rebooked for another five nights after a couple of days break visiting other parts of Tokyo. Weather is perfect spring time. With occasional rain.

Every time I visit Tokyo, I always choose to stay at Sotetsu Tamachi. The location is very convenient, with the train station nearby and plenty of useful facilities around the area. (Self-Laundry, coffee shops, konbini, etc.) I usually book a room in the Annex Building. Although there are no staff at the reception counter, I actually enjoy the self-service concept, it makes the place feel more like coming back to my own little home in Tokyo. The complimentary amenities available at the counter are very well stocked, so I rarely need to buy extra toiletries during my trips to Japan. I especially love their cleansing oil! The individual packets are super convenient, gentle on the skin, and remove makeup really well. Whether I visit in spring, summer, or autumn, it always leaves my skin feeling clean and comfortable. During this summer trip, they even provided cooling face towels late at night, while during my spring & fall visit, they had face masks available. Another thing I really appreciate is the drinking water. This is one of the very few hotels where I feel completely comfortable drinking tap water, as there is no unpleasant taste or smell. Overall, this is the hotel I feel most comfortable and at ease staying at in Tokyo. Every time I return, it genuinely feels like coming home.

The room is clean, service at the counter attentive and helpful. The heater (air conditioner) has a bit noise, but acceptable. The breakfast is perfect, has a lot of options and delicious. Overall, it's a comfortable stay.

i lost my phone on my way back to my hotel on my last day, almost midnight when i realized my phone is gone.. so i checked my ”find my phone” location and idk how i could find it if i go out so i asked the guy from receptopn where exactly was the locatopn was and tolf me it!: in tye police station, He eventually helped me, went to the police statoon and he was the one who translated everything for me in Japanese, i got my phone back thanks to honesty of the whoever found my phone.. KUDOS to the people at the reception and specially to the guy who helped me, sorry i forgot his name but i wish good karma brings him sooo much luck since i felt hopess finding my phone. sooooo thank you... about the hotel, it's super close to everything and Ginza vintage luxury shopping places i wish to go to, in fact i walk atounf from hotel to all the shopping places. subway is very close so as bus stop.. the shopping places were just 7 mine walking distance from where i bought my chanel and hermes bag... 10-15mins to ginza vintage shops places... i would come back and book in this hotel again if i ever come back soon again... Blessed for this trip to nver lost anything... 🤍🙏🏻💫

I love Akasaka neighborhood! It means that I love this hotel's location very much. It's convenient and close to city centre. In the mean time this neighborhood is safe and quiet, calm vibe. Tiny hotel room but comes with a spacious bathroom, in comparison with those usual hotels in Tokyo. You can pick up any needed amenities in the lobby.

Ini adalah tempat yang bagus untuk tinggal berhampiran Shinjuku. Stesen Higashi-Shinjuku terletak betul-betul di sebelah, betul-betul dari tingkat satu. Bilik itu agak kecil, tetapi kebanyakan hotel Jepun adalah kira-kira saiz ini, jadi saya tidak mendapati ia terlalu menyusahkan. Agak tidak selesa untuk berjalan-jalan dengan dua beg pakaian berukuran 22 inci terbentang di atas lantai, tetapi lokasi dan kemudahannya sangat baik, jadi saya tidak berpuas hati. Terdapat pasar raya 24 jam dalam jarak enam minit berjalan kaki, dan kedai serbaneka Lawson di bangunan bersebelahan, menjadikannya mudah untuk mendapatkan makanan ringan dan makanan. Terdapat 7-Eleven di seberang jalan dari hotel, dan terdapat kedai serbaneka McDonald's dan Family Mart dalam perjalanan ke pasar raya, yang bagus. Jika cuaca baik, anda boleh berjalan kaki ke Shinjuku dalam masa kira-kira 20 minit, menjadikan perjalanan lewat malam ke Don Quijote menjadi mudah. Kakitangan hotel juga sangat ramah, menjadikan penginapan yang menyenangkan. Saya pasti akan kembali pada perjalanan seterusnya.

Breakfast is good. It is worth staying here for the breakfast. Otherwise it is not very close to Tokyo station Yaesu exit. There is a shuttle service that will bring you from the main street nearby to JR Tokyo station Yaesu exit. Otherwise for bringing your huge suitcases with you, it may be better 5o take a taxi for decent comfort.
