PPengguna TetamuI come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu.
The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them.
The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits.
Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape.
There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water.
The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station.
I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

Hotel ni bagus, cuma bilik dia agak kecil. Tapi, lokasi memang strategik sebab dekat sangat dengan stesen MRT, jadi senang nak ke mana-mana. Nak pergi Asakusa Temple pun dekat, naik MRT 10 minit je dah sampai. Ada kedai serbaneka pun dekat-dekat situ, memang memudahkan.

IILIKiKStaffs are very helpful and very kind.
Regarding to cleanliness, eco friendly means for us, to use the towels one more time, no need to change the bed cloths everyday but still need to make the bed tidy and clean the floor and bathroom. In this hotel is to give us a clean towels, clean the bathroom and the bed doesn’t make tidy, the same as we left the room, we don’t need to change the bed cloths but maybe we expect to make the bad tidy as the other hotels we have been stayed. We didn’t have a clean feeling when we return to our room. It’s pity that they don’t have Yamato transport service. These are the only two minus points we have.

PPengguna TetamuVery comfy and clean place to stay, staff are friendly and nice, location is not very near to Asakusa station , about 10 mins walking distance but there are alot of shops along the way, nearby Sensoji Temple, the rooftop offered view of skytree and panoramic view of Asakusa ,delicious breakfast, totally recommendthe hotel

PPengguna TetamuThis is an excellent choice that we made in this visit to Tokyo. The hotel is located in a quiet but super convenient place. The train station is just 2 minutes walk and you can easily reach Tokyo station or Disney Land within 10 minutes. The Keiyo line there connects with Hibiya line that you can go to other places such as Ginza, Ueno,... without transferring in Tokyo Station. The supermarket is just next to the station. Familymart is just downstairs, and Ministop or 7/11 are just around there. The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the laundry machines - they are supergood - the best I've ever experienced so far in Japan's hotels. I will definitely re-book for my next visit to Japan in the future.

PPengguna TetamuWe loved this hotel so much! The staff and the location was superb, 10/10 would recommend here. Incredibly helpful staff members who would go out of their way to help you and they even assisted us forward our luggage from Tokyo to Kyoto at ease. On top of that, the location was rly good as it was just right next to the station. The rooms were a tad bit small but it’s Tokyo after all. Really recommend.

Ia adalah kali pertama saya menginap di hotel dalam perjalanan perniagaan ke Jepun Lokasinya sangat baik, perkhidmatannya juga sangat baik, ia sangat mudah untuk perjalanan, dan ia juga sangat dekat dengan kawasan sekitarnya tiga kilometer dari Istana Diraja dan boleh dicapai dengan berjoging pada waktu pagi.

Lokasi yang menakjubkan. Pemandangan yang menakjubkan dari tingkat tinggi. Bilik kecil, dan tidak murah. Tetapi, mereka bersih, dan bilik mandinya indah. Bilik bujang saya berada di tingkat 24. Pemandangan yang cantik. Saya dapat melihat lampu yang indah pada waktu malam dan tertidur. Tingkat bawah tidak menawarkan pemandangan indah kerana bangunan dan papan tanda lain menghalang pemandangan. Mereka masih mempunyai lokasi terbaik walaupun. Saya cadangkan hotel ini selagi anda tidak memerlukan bilik yang besar.

PPengguna TetamuI always loved Yotel Tokyo Ginza , It's actually my 3rd time to stay since Ginza is so convenient for me. The staff are wonderful . I wish they have a bathtub though.
Housekeeping is doing their job pretty well. Regarding food hope they upgrade their menu list. Thank you to Kazu & Toro especially Kazu he has such good communication skills . Highly recommend !
