Rembrandt Cabin Shinjuku Shin-Okubo

Capsule was clean and techy. Common area had free drinks and the view was spectacular. Would definitely visit again!

Location is good. Turn right from Shin-okubo JR exit. Walk straight you will reach hotel within walking distance in 3-5 mins. You may take lift to 8 floor for check in. No greeting from the staff. They seems un-happy and un-welcome to serve customer. Customer need to greet them in reverse. No air ventilation in the sleeping pod. (Refer picture) So you have to sleep in the pod stuffy the whole night. And i wake up with sore throat and fall sick after staying here. Follow by heavy Flu and thick Phlegm. Air-con is central control, but very heaty and stuffy in the whole room. You have to suffer with no air flow in the pod. Hence, wrong choice to stay here because of the air full of muddy smell. Not function door lock as you enter to the female only room.(Faulty door security). You can simply open the door without any card scanning even they provide you the card key. Surprise!!! No space for packing luggage. It's dim light in the storage room. It seems to save cost, but suffer for customer who want to arrange and pack their luggage. In dark and dim environment in the luggage storage room, you may have to light on the phone touch light some time. Bath room crowded after 10pm. All rush to shower. Have to queue up for shower as limitation for the bath room. As some of the bathroom seems have been lock with empty people inside the bathroom. Again, the bathroom air is stuffy and no fresh air. Lounge is mixed with outsider (the hourly paid customer) for the lounge usage and facilities. A lot of them seems fall sick and tired. They cough and flu ,sneeze all over the place. Even Free Coffee and tea, but the water dispenser is empty. Hence have to suffer for no drinking water as need to wait for replenish. Rubbish bin is overflow and no one clean up. Cleanliness and air ventilation in the room have to be improved which may impact the public and overall stay. Not recommend.

You should manage your time in time for checkout because you will not have a place to wait. The location is very close to the station. Can walk for only 3 minutes.

Excellent capsule hotel with many amenities and a very prime location!

Friendly staffs, pretty clean, good amenities & great location. HOWEVER all the sleeping capsules are together in one room and therefore there’s a lot of noise during night and morning time. Could barely sleep during 3 of my nights there.

Magnificent place! Neat, tidy and they really go the extra mile to make clients are at ease when they visit. No need to bring all the bathroom extras. They supply everything for free. The place always smiles nice! And it’s close to everything.
