Borgo Scopeto is simply breathtaking. Perfect location in tuscany (with many great wineries near the hotel), the staff is patient and helpful, rooms are beautiful & spacious, food & wine is amazing! We cannot wait to return for our 3rd visit!

We stayed here for a rest to enjoy Tuscany after a busy few days in Rome and Florence. We are so glad we did. Such a calming and serene place with great food and attentive staff. We enjoyed their own wines, touring the gardens and orchard, relaxing by the pool, and the ample breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed happy hour in the bar or on the lawn, with wonderful cocktails and apertivo. Siena is a 20 min drive away. Would definitely return!

Had a beautiful time staying here. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and friendly. The property is magnificent and feels exactly like what you would want it to feel. True Tuscany! The food is great and the rooms are beautifully appointed and most importantly, immaculate! Would definitely return again.

From the minute we drove up the cypress lined driveway we knew we were in for a treat. This hotel oozes charm and sophistication! Our villa was huge… 3 en-suite bedrooms plus living area. The lavender fields and olive trees made for a most scenic backdrop to our stay in Tuscany! The pool was relaxing and had great food/bar service, as well. Dinners on the beautiful lawn under a tent with chandeliers added to the charm. Would love to return!

We have just returned from this fabulous hotel after a 3 night stay to celebrate our oldest son’s wedding, which was held at a nearby venue. There were people from the UK and the USA as the happy couple live in New York and everyone in our party had the best time of their lives. All 47 of us! The rooms are spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The hotel itself is so charming with lots of character. Inside and outside are immaculately kept and a credit to the wonderful staff who looked after us so well. A special mention for Matilde who organised hairdressers for us on the day of the wedding, thank you so much. All in all this was an amazing experience for us, one we will never forget and we hope to return very soon. Thank you all for everything you did for our party.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Toscana. Borgo Scopeto Relais had been recommended by some friends and it has excedeed our expectations. The room (executive suite) was amazing, spacious, clean and silent. Breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner at Tinaia restaurant. The surroundings are very beautiful and daily trips to different cities and restaurants are really easy. All the hotel team is fantastic: always polite and very kind, with a special thanks to Matilde, who made her best every day to help us with restaurants tips and reservations, with a great smile!

Great hotel to stay in. Staff very attentive and plentiful. Room was large with very comfortable beds and bedding. Food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. Lovely pool area with bar. Location was very peaceful and rural but near enough to Siena to drive to for dinner. Spa treatment was OK and probably not worth the money. Wasn’t offered to stay to use the spa facilities although it was included in the price.

One of the most memorable stays in Tuscany. The property is absolutely beautiful. Lot of space to walk around, explore and relax. Has two swimming pools with lounging areas and a beautiful bar. Sadly we didn’t have much time to enjoy the places as we were on a driving tour and were out most of the day. Rooms were old fashioned but very comfortable with decent amenities. A few things like creamer or milk for coffee was missing but we didn’t mind. The locker worked on a key which wasn’t very convenient but wasn’t a big deal for us. They served an excellent breakfast and true to the Tuscan fashion with Prosecco and a variety of hot beverages. We had a few dinners at the hotel arranged by the organisers of the tour. Food was excellent and the wine was amazing.

Do not be fooled by the videos on Instagram. This is not a 5-star property. The hotel is also guilty of FALSE ADVERTISING because they do not offer Air-Conditioning (AC) except for the months of July and August. We arrived on an unusually hot day in April 2024, when the weather was in the 80s Fahrenheit. We tried to turn on the AC but found it was not functioning, and then the front desk staff told us AC is not offered at this time of year. Nowhere in the advertising or the hotel website does it say that AC is only available during a small part of the year. If we had known that, we would have booked a better property. We tried to speak to the hotel manager Francesco Ferruzzi the next morning after an uncomfortable night of sleep, but found out he was not coming to the hotel until the afternoon. We decided to leave, and found a much better hotel (Borgo San Felice) that had excellent rooms and air-conditioning like they advertise!
