The hotel is comfortable. Well situated. With a parking. And the staff welcoming and smiling. We liked that. Out mixed feeling comes from the noise level. Not from outside. Not from other rooms, but from inside. The AC system is very noisy and we did not manage to master it. Our unit was pushing air at mac level all the time. Even if we would turn it off it would go back to full speed after 20 minutes. If we remove our door card, it would go to full speed immediately. At 2am we ended up removing the room fuses to cut all electricity in the room to sleep. I dont know if this is a defect or by design, but this was the first time I was faced with an AC systems with its own initiative :-). I would like to have control on the room AC and cut it if I need to. Here I had very little control even on the temperature setting.

I visited Delemont with a group of friends this weekend. We are a sport cars club and we often travel across Europe. I was with my 7 years daughter and our staying was just perfect. Mercure Delemont is a brand new hotel, warm and perfectly equipped for a very pleasant staying. Our bedroom had all amenities and we enjoyed our time in Delemont. Great morning breakfast and great courtesy of the reception crew. Then the extra mile came. My daughter forgot her ”dudu” (her night puppet) in our bedroom. We realized 300 km later and she was really sad. In less than 24 hours her little Rabbit came back home, traveling safely as a priority delivery with Swiss Post. Whoever has a little girl knows what this does mean. Mercure team did not even want to get paid for the delivery. Thank you Mercure for your perfect accommodation and for taking care about your little customers... and their precious night puppets too. A big clap for your sensitivity and courtesy. See you on our next trip to Jura.

Situated on the outskirts of Delémont, a 15-minute walk from the centre and 400 metres from the Morépont bus stop, Youth Hostel Delémont features a large garden with a terrace and barbecue facilities and many other activity options. Free Wi-Fi is available on the entire property. There is a football pitch and table tennis facilities on site, as well as a games room with table football and children’s corner. This is a review of the Courtyard's restaurant Bluma - not the hotel. We were a group of 9 people who had lunch at the hotel's restaurant yesterday. The restaurant has a rather nice selection of smaller dishes (a tasting menu) from around the world (e.g. quesadillas, Bao buns, falafels, etc.). The idea is that you order 2-3 items and, if possible, share dishes at your table. In general, a nice concept and a nice looking restaurant. My issues with the restaurant: - COSTS: the costs are high, especially when going for lunch. The dishes cost from CHF 14.50 - 22.50 and a liter of water cost CHF 12. So, you are easily spending close to CHF 40 per person, assuming you only get 2 dishes. As some of the dishes were really very small, many of us needed 3 dishes. This is a very expensive restaurant, even for Switzerland. - SERVICE (1): the restaurant was empty except for our group (perhaps because of the cost issue above?). We all ordered fairly quickly, but the dishes came out staggered over the next 70 minutes. As I only ordered one dish, I sat there watching everyone else eat as mine (the Goan beef curry) came out last. Why would it take well over an hour to get all the food prepared? There was no one else in the place! And, one of the steak dishes was forgotten and had to be re-ordered, so we had a rather hungry teenage boy for awhile. - SERVICE (2): the wait staff did not understand even basic German, you had to speak French (preferable) or English with them. - SERVICE (3): we asked for separate bills by family which would have meant 5 separate receipts for our group. As the restaurant was completely empty, it should really not have been a problem. Yet, we still received one bill at the end and it was quite difficult to separate. Anyway, I hope the hotel F & B management is reading their reviews and does something to fix their cost and service issues. Again, the concept of a tasting menu is interesting and the reason we selected your restaurant. Consider offering a special lunch menu & price and please do look at the service issues.

Comme à l'habitude le CIP et son hôtel permettent un séjour facile qui donne une impression de continuité (on passe de son domicile privé à l'hébergement extérieur sans complications, sans surprises) et de convivialité sans artifices. On y a vite ses repères. En journée, il est donc aisément possible de se concentrer sur son activité professionnelle, et en soirée il est possible de profiter de l'atmosphère sympathique du restaurant et d'un décors de vacances d'hiver si la neige est au rendez-vous.

If your not used to off brand hotels you will not enjoy this hotel. It lacks most all comforts a business traveler has come to enjoy . First off the room size is so small you have to go outside to change your mind. The showers are ridiculously appointed with the shower head in the center of the tub not at the ends. This makes no sense and as a taller person. It's not very comfortable. Got to Shave? Better do your hair first or you risk electrocution. The sink fill to the very top with water and will not drain for at least an hour. If you happen to use the hair dryer and it falls into full sink, look out... Need laundry service ? Better plan for a day trip to some magical laundry mat . This is a huge inconvenience personally . Oh speaking of laundry . Took 4 days of asking for an iron and ironing board. Really how is this not in every room. Hungry ? Forget about it. Other than a subpar breakfast buffet which is like ground hogs day that's all you get. They have a full service restaurant buy serve no food. Guess you can order some McDonald's for 35 CHF. That's for 1 meal. Want to relax and watch TV? Well your laptop probably has a bigger screen. As I travel to Biel 8 to 10 times a year I will not be staying here any longer. I may not even complete my current reservation. Very disappointed. So either I have super high expectations or all these other reviewers have very low standards. Cheers.
