Probably one of the best lodges visited in South Africa. Great service, a very comfortable room and tastefully decorated dining and lounge areas. Exceptionally good evening meal. We will certainly return whenever in the area.

Unfortunately I spent only a night with my family, driving from Johannesburg to Kruger NP. It was an incredibile experience, starting with a warm welcoming, living in a Wonderful suite… Restaurant shocked us, we didn’t expect to get so high quality dishes (all kind of meats and super desserts…) Highly recommeded…

I took 12 friends plus myself and husband to Oliver's for a birthday breakfast. The food was delicious and the menu had lovely offerings for everyone. When we paid we thought that they had made a mistake...we thought they had undercharged us. We were assured that for that top class cuisine they had made no mistakes! What a lovely venue overlooking gardens towards surrounding hills and the golf course! We enjoyed superb food and service and will be doing this a LOT more often!

Food was wonderful but service was poor. Waitress was untrained and could not describe the dishes on the menu. I ordered fish and requested particular vegetables that were available on the menu. Meal arrived with wrong vegetables. Was told correct vegetables would arrive shortly.As promised one of vegetables arrived in good time but other vegetable arrived very much later well after meal was finished. Having said that, the food was delicious both our main course and the apple strudel dessert. Although the poor service was somewhat irritating, I would happily return for the outstanding food .

Oliver’s is outstanding in every way. Convenient to the airport and the Numbi Gate of Kruger National Park, my family had a most memorable stay at Oliver’s. The facility, property layout, service, and hospitality were unmatched. The food was simply astounding and the chef always accommodated my son’s food allergies to make sure he also had an enjoyable meal. If restaurants receive five stars as the highest rating, I would give Oliver’s at least 6! I travel for business often in Africa from the US, but this was my first time taking my family for vacation. Yes, it’s a long way from home, but the service and food at Oliver’s made the journey well worth it. In addition, they kindly arranged transportation for us from and to the airport and also connected us to top notch safari and tour guides. I cannot say enough great things about our experience at Oliver’s!!! Congratulations and thanks to the proprietor for a first rate operation.

Oliver’s is a fabulous hotel with the most beautiful gardens and surrounds. A guaranteed peaceful countryside stay and the staff are simply wonderful. Highly recommended boutique hotel in the gorgeous Lowveld.

This is the most beautiful, peaceful and tranquil place in the Lowveld. The gardens felt like a paradise and the room was spacious, neat, beautiful decorated, well equipped and clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and the breakfast a feast. We also had a couple's massage which was so relaxing. I give Olivers 12 out of ten and can recommend this beautiful place to everyone.
