Atelier Skalo Boutique Hotel

I can’t say enough nice thins about this place. Very pretty hotel right in the center of town, very close to a bunch of different restaurants, shops, museums, and other attractions. It was very easy to walk nearly anywhere we wanted in downtown and see historic sites and buildings. The concierge was incredible with helping us plan our trip around the island and making sure we knew what we should do. Additionally, when our rental car broke down, she drove us to the airport on a moments notice. Truly some of the best service I’ve experienced at a hotel before and could not recommend enough.

Nice Hotel. In renovation process at the time I was there (and it seems that is is going to be amazing when finished). The host (Edi) was super kind and helpful and made my stay in the city very nice because he recommended the best places to visit in the area.

Wishing I could go back this second! The place itself is beautiful, dreamy, modern, cozy, bohemian/tropical feel and clean! - the patio is gorgeous, great for some pictures too. The location is awesome (I originally booked 2 nights in case I didn't like it, stayed my entire 8 days!) Felt like a local and right at home. Walkable to everything in the city; safe, close to restaurants, nightlife, nearby small beach, 2 min from the bridge, OtraBanda & Punda. 5 min from Pietermai. Accessible and easy to get around without a vehicle - (though to explore the rest of the Island, get a rental car, Dani was great at arranging one for me). Dani is the kindest host I have come across and so informative, with great recommendations; only a message and call away, quick to respond and genuinely helpful - made such a difference to my trip, specifically travelling solo. The staff overall are great, made my stay extra special. 100 out of 10 recommended!

Diego and Corisa, the stars of the hotel staff, deserve special recognition for their exceptional kindness. When I fell ill, their genuine concern and thoughtful assistance were beyond what I could have expected. It wasn't just about hospitality; it was a display of true compassion. Your impact on my stay was immeasurable, and I can't express enough gratitude for the heartfelt care you provided.

Great spot in an up and coming neighborhood. Just a jump over the bridge to Punda and Otrabanda. Beautifully redone historic building - the owners have done a great job in renovating while leaving the historic integrity of the space. Our host was the most amazing and very ensured we were at home the whole time. We had everything we neededThank you Corrisa!

The rooms were very clean. Inside the property, it is very beautiful. I can't wait to go back when everything is finished with the pool area. It looks like it is going to be beautiful.

My mom stay here for 5 days, since I made the reservation until she left the personnel in the hotel was MARVELOUS she got the best experience ever! Especially with Diego, she said he treat her like she was at home! Very respectful and professional, the communication was outstanding! Thank you so much for take care my mom! My mom stayed there for 5 days, and the attention from the beginning to the end was OUTRAGEOUS better than a LUXURY hotel, my mom told me Eddy makes her feel at home, Corissa was very professional, the manager and her team made all the arrangement, with me to pick up my mom at the airport go and back, the driver was Danielle the daily communication with her and the whole team was AMAZING! what a great experience! thank you guys, so much, I will recommend this place to all my family and friends! 100% GREAT!

Very clean. The room was spatious, well-designed, artistic and comfortable. Great location. Easy access to the sights and sounds of the downtown area including the restaurants and shopping.
