Hotel berhampiran Roukanas John di Pulau Zakinthos

Two star hotel. It has a very poor breakfast and a small elevator (where only two people can fit at a time). The staff is disappointing, not very friendly. We ordered a pizza delivery and, instead of the receptionist calling the room to inform, he allowed the motoboy to go up to our room to make the delivery (I've never seen that in my life). Also, there’s no parking. The bathroom in the room is extremely small, with brackish water. Amenities were never replenished. The air conditioning didn't have enough power to cool the room, and the safe didn't work either. We were relieved to leave.

Beautiful hotel and very nice service but for the price you expect a bit of luxury experience. They push a bit to buy spa package or day trip package, I feel it’s not very elegant.. but overall it’s a nice place.

This is a wonderful hotel. It has the best location in zakynthos town. I received a room with a balcony overlooking the port, and it was amazing! The staff is also incredible—thank you Natasha for your wonderful concierge service! The breakfast is beyond delicious, and the rooftop bar has unforgettable views of the town. I have seen some reviews mentioning the rooms needing renovation; I felt very comfortable and please keep in mind this is an island in greece, not Manhattan. It’s a top pick for Zante town.

Wij hebben hier een week gezeten eind augustus. We werden hartelijk verwelkomd aan de receptie en konden gelijk, om 10.30, in onze kamer! Na het lezen van de recensies op tripadvisor was ik toch wat zenuwachtig geworden. Wij hadden de private pool suite geboekt, wat een geweldige kamer! Erg ruim en een prachtig uitzicht over Zante Town en de haven. Het terras met zwembad was ook perfect! Niks was teveel gevraagd in het hotel, een extra laken, extra handdoek, alles werd direct geregeld. De kamer werd elke dag netjes schoongemaakt en om de dag nieuwe handdoeken. Ook speciale voor aan het zwembad. Het ontbijt had niet veel variatie maar was prima, wij hebben hier een aantal dagen ontbeten en de overige dagen zijn we naar Tsvilli gereden. De algemene ervaring in Avalan Palace was perfect! Ik zou er zo weer naartoe gaan.

Paid 50 euro for a transfer from the airport, but the transfer never showed up. We called the hotel and they said the transfer was on the way. After about 20 minutes in record heat, we chose our own cab and paid 20 euro to go to the hotel. We requested a refund on the airport transfer, but the hotel staff declined. Instead they asked for a taxi receipt to prove we paid for a cab. Seriously? I recommend not questioning your guests' integrity. Our room seemed more or less clean, but not going to win awards in that area. Also, there was a large chair missing one of the four feet, so it constantly wobbled. We did not bother to tell the hotel staff about this, as they were generally unwelcoming and we did not expect any resolution. Cut our trip short and went to another hotel.

Visited Zakynthos the first time during May 2022. Picked specially an adult-only-hotel and this one is serving it perfectly. A littlebit hidden from the mainroad with a nice view on the sea. Awesome atmosphere, fresh, rich and homemade buffet in the morning, very talented cook serving a 5 round dinner every evening. Everything made on a daily basis with herbs from local garden behind the hotel. Delicous red and white wines. Staff is very charming and helpful concerning local tips as well all of them speaking fluently English specially Stamatis has to be named as the good soul of the hotel☺️

Well another fantastic experience at this wonderful hotel. The staff are amazing and so attentive. Foteini always looking after us with a smile on her face and making us feel very special, also Peggy at breakfast greeting us with a hug and a smile. When going to the bar not only are there lovely views over the ocean, but the barman does a great job making cocktails and boy are the good. My last visit i had an accident (which had nothing to do with the hotel or staff) but when arriving back at the hotel the staff could not have looked after me enough, i had injured my finger and people were getting me ice and calling the doctor, the doctor was at a emergency so Denise at the front desk called a taxi for me to get to the hospital, once there i went to pay and the hotel had already paid for me, what excellent service. The front desk staff are amazing. We have been to the Lesante Blu 4 times and we are never disappointed. And im sure we will be back many times too.

Nonostante la vicinanza con l’aeroporto, Daniel hotel gode di una posizione strategica per chi volesse girare l’isola o semplicemente godere di una vacanza di riposo, in quanto si trova in una via interna molto tranquilla e immersa nella natura, lontana dal caos dei mezzi ma allo stesso tempo ad un paio di min dalla main road di Kalamaki (10 a piedi) e circa una ventina di minuti di passeggiata dalla Spiaggia di Crystal Beach. La struttura è accogliente e si presenta ordinata e spaziosa, al centro di essa c’è una piscina riservata ai clienti con il bar che resta aperto fino a sera e con ottima musica di sottofondo (ma non invasiva). Le camere hanno un’entrata indipendente, sono abbastanza spaziose e dotate di un terrazzino vivibile con sedie e tavolino. Sono inoltre dotate di aria condizionata (extra che costa €6 al giorno) e frigo. L’unica nota negativa purtroppo è la colazione che era un po’ scarna e di mediocre qualità, perciò non all’altezza delle aspettative. È comunque possibile non includerla nel proprio soggiorno e in alternativa recarsi nella via principale dove ci sono vari bar che fanno anche cappuccino/espresso e quant’altro. Un consiglio: se dovete affittare un mezzo (cosa consigliata!) rivolgetevi esclusivamente alle grandi catene che possono assicurarvi veicoli in buone condizioni, sicuri e soprattutto assistenza concreta; evitate i piccoli rental service come quello adiacente all’hotel perché sfortunatamente a noi ha causato moltissimi problemi e inutile stress. Infine, ma non per importanza, i proprietari dell’hotel, Augustine e Vicky, sono davvero due persone splendide e di cuore; ci hanno aiutato a risolvere degli inconvenienti e invitato più volte ad affidarci a loro per qualsiasi problema, facendoci sentire come in famiglia. Li ringraziamo molto per la gentilezza e il supporto dimostratoci. P.s. Se alloggerete qui, vi consiglio vivamente di recarvi a cena alla taverna Eliameze (6 min a piedi)!

We always choose for our Holidays 5* Boutique Hotels all over the world. To be honest we didnt expect that Zante Maris Suites will be the best we ever stayed at.The first impression when the wooden door opened was outstanding. A paradise of tranquility and of course the warmest welcome we ever had from the reception Staff.We offered welcome cocktails,they informed us about all the details of our stay and then we went to our room.The room was excellent,clean and the view from our private pool perfect.Also during the stay the food was perfect(at all meals) and the cocktails were the best we ever had.Last but not least was the staff.I thing that this was the highlight of Zante Maris Suites.all of them were profesional with a big smile and tehy couldnt do enough for us.The only negative is that we have to wait one year to see all this people again.
