Hotel berhampiran Finger Peak, Zhangjiajie

房間面積非常大，住的很舒服。老闆娘非常非常nice，載我們去買水果，去森林公園南門。每天早上的早飯，有米線、糊糊、水果、玉米、雞蛋，都是親手做的，非常新鮮，吃的很放心，口味也很贊！根據我們出行的時間，給了遊玩建議，雖然景區特別特別大，心中有譜，一路上玩的很安心。非常值得推薦的民宿，孩子還可以在前面的院子盪鞦韆喂小兔子，體驗感滿滿，第一第一！！！

My friend and I stayed here when we were visiting the Zhangjiajie National Park. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the park's Eastern enterance which is super convienient. From the Eastern Entrance, you can catch the free bus to access Tianzi Shan, you can also take the Bailongshan Elevator that will take you to the most famous view points, including the First Bridge under Heaven and the Hallajuah Mountain. If you plan your routes well, it is possible to see all the different parts of the park by entering from the Eastern Enterance. The hotel itself is clean and has a friendly atmosphere -- we both felt very safe and welcome. There is a breakfast place just 20m down the street and plenty of options of places to eat during the evening, so you don't need to worry about being able to find food. There is also a small night market in the evenings where you can buy fruit and street food. The hotel can store your luggage for you so you don't need to worry about carrying it when you go hiking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about using the Zhangjiajie Eastern enterance.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of town and a short walk from the scenic park. The rooms are basic but comfortable, it was more than I expected at the price I paid for several nights. The guesthouse owner was fantastic, very knowledgable about the park and helped us to buy tickets. She was very friendly and helpful in explaining the routes we could take and things we could see. I saw her assisting other travellers using translation software too, so language isn’t an issue for foreign tourists. Would stay here again!

Very nice stay. The owners were very kind and helpful, no matter the language barrier : gave me tips on the roads to take for hiking, indicated the time required for each segment, and recommended the restaurant next door (less rustic than my other meals in the area - got a discount). The room was spacious, the bed was quite comfortable, and it smelled nicely of pine wood due to the material used for decoration and construction, a great add-on while staying in the mountains. Location was great too, at the very end of the town, 5 min walk from the entrance of the Wulingyuan part of Zhangjiajie. To access other parts of the park, it's a straight line to walk to the bus station (10min on foot maybe) which can take you to any part needed. For indication it takes about 40min (one way) to go to Zhangjiajie City & TianMenShan entrance, and similar amount of time to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park entrance.

Highly recommended. Great location and is within walking distance to the national forest park (east gate). We took didi (similar to uber) from Zhangjiajie West train station to the hotel. It took about 40 min and costs 42rmb one way. Room and bathroom are big and clean, beds are comfortable and the host is very nice. We spent two days in the national park, with first day went up the mountain (Yuanjiajie, Avatar floating mountain etc) and 2nd day strolled along the stream, Jinbianxi (entered through east gate and exited through south gate). There are buses from south gate to east gate, which charge 10rmb per trip. Hotel near east gate is a better option as most attractions are closer to East gate.

The hotel stay at good location close to entrace east gate National Forest Park and had welcome fruits. There are many restaurants nearby, complete facilities. The staff front desk is very friendly, help us to book tickets cheaper and gave a map to explain how to travel in Wulingyuan Scenic Area for one day.

The hotel is near the East Park entrance gate (13 min walk -3blks) and the local bus station (5 min walk 1blk), situated on a quiet street. From the local bus station, you can take bus to Glass Bridge, and other Park Entrance Gates. A very economic way to move around. Buses are reliable. Mr. ZHANG (owner - no english) was very helpful for hiking routes and tour information. No morning breakfast provided. 20-25 min walk to Xibu area (restaurants). Hotel is clean, quiet, free laundry (DIY), safe. Great value.

It is a small hotel. They provide a limited number of food to order for breakfast. Almost like a bed-and-breakfast place. Overall, it was a nice place to stay as long as you do not need their transportation service. The driver charged 120 CNY to the airport. The owner decided to send us instead of the driver. When we arrived at the airport, he charged 200 CNY. This hotel is about a 5-minute drive / 35 minutes walk to the entrance to the Zhangjiajie's Avatar / floating mountains. It is about 50 minute drive from the Tianmen Heaven's Gate. I recommend staying at the Zhangjiajiw's center (10-15 minutes drive to Tianmen Heaven's Gate). Pros: A bidet is available in the bathroom. The decor is lovely. The location is convenient to the main road with restaurants and many other stores. Cons: There was no place to hang the used towel if you plan to use it again. There is no place to put soap in the bathroom other than on the window sill. Also, it only gives one small bottle of soap to use for the sink and the shower. It has mosquitoes in the room. If you need to use the bathtub, please make sure to clean it yourself again before use. It was not very clean. No English-speaking staff.

Had a wonderful stay. The inn is farther out from the national park than others but it is at a quiet corner of the district. The room and toilet was standard but other services and amenities stood out for me. They had small extras such as sewing kit, availability of fruit knife that made the stay more comfortable. The staff also helped with booking of tickets and giving advice on how best to go around the attractions. Breakfast was at the top floor which provided a great view of the mountains. The staff, amenities, and breakfast view made all the difference. Highly recommend this inn.

This was perhaps our all-time favorite hotel experience. We felt so pampered! They had everything we needed - I felt like we somehow overpacked, haha. Our butler was amazing. Our Chinese is not great, and it was our first time traveling in China. Through WeChat, they helped us with planning an itinerary, booking tickets for the park, call Didi for us, and even helped us order takeout when we were jetlagged and starving. He was quick and very accommodating. This hotel is also amazing in its decor, cleanliness, and breakfast! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to drink tea in their tea room, but they had spaces with mahjong, tea rooms, and more! Great for groups to socialize. Breakfast was great in variety and taste every morning. It was probably our favorite part. Homemade and delicious meal. They also helped accommodate our 7am breakfast when we needed to checkout early. I'm not sure if we will ever visit Zhangjiajie again, but this hotel has definitely changed my perspective on what an experience we can have. Thank you so much!
