Hotel is nice, clean and room is comfortable. Room is big! Beside each bed has electrical power point and light switch! Me and my friends enjoyed ourselves so much. Photos are the same as real -life. Staffs are friendly and approachable. They are also very attentive to us! Breakfast is nice too! They helped to receive my Taobao goods 🤭 They provided fruits and snacks! Hotel is about 10 - 15 mins walk to 武陵源and魅力湘西. Nearby hotel has quite a number of food places, no need worry. There is also a laundry place. Even though the room is at level 2 facing the road, it is not noisy at all. Will definitely recommend anyone for this hotel.

Good location.
Checkin took a while as we selected another block with some non smoking room. had to bring bags to another building. Room was on 3rd floor, but staff was friendly and helped carry some bags with us. Free route planning was provided, which was great. Good location. The room was a bit dark, and the bed was too hard for our liking.. bed was a bit noisy, too, which will be good to fix.. But we were very tired, so we were still able to sleep..
Night market and shop were nearby. Which was great.

It was fantastic staying with Yuxi and her families and friends.
When I arrive there, they help me to plan for Zhangjiajie and around it. It was best tips and ease me to plan.
The breakfast was amazing. I would say best food at the town. (I can imagine if they offer dinner options just one menu like breakfast but paid option, I would love to get it)
Room was well organized and has such a nice view.
They have strong heater. The insulation is something consider for winter. However, the heater cover it well. And the breakfast and friendly staffs are amazing to miss because of that.
I would definitely choose it again

Our trip to Zhangjiajie couldn’t have been better! This hotel is a few minutes walking distance away from a secondary (non crowded!) entrance to the National Park. The view from the pool is facing the National Park too, which couldn’t be more beautiful. Same goes for the surroundings as the area is super calm, you can relax indeed. The restaurant serves good typical food (we highly recommend the sea bass fish - both versions). The breakfast is acceptable with a mix of asian western (although mostly Asian you can find such things as yogurt, croissants, butter and bread).
The hotel could be improved in minor details, which we passed on to the team. But these won’t make your experience bad in anyway. What made our stay one of the best in this big China trip was our hostess named Fan! ＜3
She was always available for us, did the impossible to find anything we needed and surprised us all the time. She carefully planned all our itineraries for all the attractions, never forgot a single request and spoke English better than anyone else in the Team. She was 6 out of 5*. ;)
Don’t miss Jojo, the beautiful and cute cat belonging to the hotel. :)
Our room also included a transfer which we used to the airport by the end of the stay, driving us in time to our flight.
We hope to be back one day. :)

Boss was very helpful planning my itinerary for wulingyuan and tianmen. He speaks English very well, so very foreigner friendly. He gave me free breakfast, simple but enough to fuel me for my hikes. He helped me book everything and I got lost the first night and called him and helped me get back 😅. It is about a 15 minute walk to dongmen of wulingyuan, which is no problem for serious hikers. The room is simple and comfortable, only needed a place to lay my head, as most of the day I was hiking. Very close to snack street, where you can get food after your hikes. For anyone doing wulingyuan, if you are serious about it, don’t take any of the transportations apart from the free bus, you will find hidden areas where there are no people. All the places where the cable cars lead to will be filled with masses of people.

The staff of the hotel were very helpful, the manager organised all park tickets for us (Zhangjiajie National Park, Tianmen mountain), the transportation from Zhangjiajie city to the hotel and in the morning the manager drove us to the park entrance.
The hotel is only 2km from the park entrance. In the evening we were walking back.
We had nice chats with the staff and were invited to share tea with them.
XibuStreet Inn manager has been extremely kind with us. His wife speaks English and we have been using translator app to communicate.

Very clean and beautiful hotel. The hotel staff is absolutely amazing, very very helpful and very friendly with food English communicating skills. They have a drop off and pick up service to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park ( South Gate ). Less than 5 minutes of drive from the sound gate of the park. Super nice room decoration. The room i am staying in has a direct and clear view of the avatar mountain. The only thing to check is the timing of your visit, because the swimming pool here might be closed during a specific period of time in the year.

We had a nice and cosy 3-week stay in Zhang Jia Jie at Zero Pressure luxury dream apartment hotel. The studio room we had was very reasonably priced for the location and kitchen facility, cosy and a decent size for a long stay.
Our host Ming Ying was extremely helpful by providing us with sufficient toiletries and water for 3 week stay. She was also very prompt in her responses and generous in offering us frequent cleaning even though we didn't expect it. She went the extra mile to help us in our time here given we are quite lost in terms of navigating the Chinese mobile apps to get around, withdraw money and even buy items online.
The room is good for people who plan to dine out, though they have a basic setup of an induction cooker and wok and rice cooker. We loved the breakfast place downstairs on the same block and had some great eats in the nearby area.
The room deco is bright and colourful, and while the curtains are nice and cheery bright colour, do note that if you are a light sleeper, best to bring an eye mask to block out the sunlight entering in in the morning.
All in all, we are very pleased with our stay and the hospitality received by our helpful and hardworking host Ming Ying.

PPengguna TetamuThe best accommodation experience we had in Changsha-Zhangjiajie! Before travel date, they reached out to me to offer their assistance. They were extremely helpful in curating the best itinerary and answering my questions. I sought their help to book the attraction tickets although I can do it myself online, I felt assured that they would assist if I were to encounter any issues. Pick up from high speed rail station was promptly arranged a day before arrival and Xiaowu was patient even though we faced unexpected delay.
Tang Jing, our housekeeper was knowledgeable, proactive and always ready to help. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. Coming back to Wangyun after a day of activity is like returning to the warmth of home. Fruits and refreshments were served daily and they would always offer you the region’s famous berry tea.
The room is beautifully decorated with rustic Chinese furniture with a touch of zen. It came with all the creature comforts including smart home device to make everything even easier like controlling the lights, aircon, curtains, tv and play music of your choice. It’s clean and spacious. Common areas have many nice touches to make it cozier. There are two dogs which are extremely well behaved. They even have live singing at night which you can enjoy with drinks at the patio. We could hear nothing from the room so it’s not a cause for concern.
The location is very convenient with the East gate less than 5 minutes ride and within walking distance. The bustling town for dining and shopping can also be reached on foot.
I’d recommend Wangyun to anyone staying in Wulingyuan.

AALEKSANDRAIf i could give 100 stars to this hotel, i would. We enjoyed every moment there. The staff was super friendly and polite. We felt like we are not staying at a hotel but our own place. It’s on the most convenient location for visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest park.
Every room from glass house to little rainbow houses were really unique. During our stay, host helped us with transfer to National Park and planing our visit and days.
Breakfast was homemade and really delicious.
To sum up, our stay was perfect and we will definitely come back here! ❤️☀️😍

VViktorya PetrosyanOur stay was wonderful. Horel's location was great near the beautiful street, so many lightr arroung amd yummy streetl food. The hotel owner was so polite, caring and helping whenever we were in need of smth. Less than 10min walk to Wulinguan East gate.
The hotel room was clean and comfy. I will come back one day to explore more and stay at this hotel again.
Thanks much to the owner and a chance to visit again, with my Mom.

SSarah Welsh1Heaven! This hotel is perfection! Nestled in the mountains you can be at one with nature here and relax in the most comfortable surroundings. The hotel is an old village that has transformed into an amazing rustic high end hotel. It is situated very near to the Zhangjiajie scenic park entrances such as Avatar Mountains. The rooms/villas are spacious, clean and have everything you could want. There was a turn down service with snacks provided and they set up the projector ready for when you arrive back from a wonderful day of sightseeing. The warm bath on the balcony really helped to relax us too.
The views at this hotel are breathtaking! The most beautiful vistas that you can see from the rooms, balconies and the infinity pool (1 of 2 pools they have there).
The restaurant was impressive, all the food is freshly cooked and many of the items are grown at the hotel (see the rice paddies and vegetables growing in the photos). There was a lot of choice of food and the price was very reasonable. The restaurant also has some wine and spirits to enjoy with your meal or to sip on a gin and tonic at the infinity pool just outside to watch the sun set. Breakfast was amazing, again plenty of choice and real coffee too. There is also a bar on site if you wish to sing karaoke with beers and friends once the sun has set.
The most outstanding aspect of this hotel for us was the service. Rain, the (reception) manager was incredible, nothing was too much trouble for him. He called us the day before to arrange pick up and he speaks perfect English. Throughout the stay he organised and helped with everything we needed, he really did go above and beyond, thank you so much Rain to you and all of your staff who work so hard.
This hotel was definitely great value for the price, the location and aspect of the hotel, also perfect. We cannot wait to come back again, maybe winter next time to see the snowy mountains and to sit by the fires in the rooms. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, 110%!

SStefanieeeSauberes Hotel direkt hinter dem Busbahnhof von Zhangjiajie und der Seilbahn zum Tianmen-Berg. Der Nationalpark ist 45 Minuten mit dem Bus entfernt und der HighSpeed-Bahnhof ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Taxi. In der Parallelstraße kann man gut shoppen (Leilei Hase Laden), essen oder eine Fußmassage nehmen :)
Die Rezeption spricht kein Englisch, aber ist wirklich extrem bemüht und fürsorglich. Man kann immer über WeChat Fragen stellen.

SSS-SingaporeReach ZJJ west station via the high speed rail from Changsha. After Existing the station, keep left to the Bus Station to WuLingYuan. Need to tell the staff there so they will ask the bus to detour into the station to pick ups up. Cost 13RMB per trip. Tell the Bus driver u going to East Gate, Dong Meng. You will alight after the round about along WuLing Road. From there it's just a 5 mins walk to the hotel. Greeted by Mr Yang. the owner of the hotel. I reached the hotel early at 10am, Mr Yang is nice enough to prep the room early and let me check-in. He orientated me to the surrounding and suggest my route to tour the national park. I was staying there for 3 nights. So i bought the 4 days entry ticket + unlimited Cable Cars(3 routes) & BaiLong lift ride. Very worth it if you are staying there for 4 days. Mr Yang helped me to purchase the ticket at a discount price (488RMB). Totally enjoyed the walk, hike, climb, cable car rides & lift rides as it's a low tourist season. But I make an effort to wake yp early and take the first scenic shuttle bus to the locations. The East Gate opens at 7am in the morning, closed at abt 730pm. The East Gate where the WuLingMeng landmark building is, is where all the shuttle buses will depart to the different locations, eg, to TianZhiShan, BaiLong Elevator or Ten Miles gallery. I will usually Didi to and back from the East gate to the hotel, cost abt 6-8RMB. Walking is about 1.5km. 15mins. I skip the Grand Canyon as I think it's abit overpriced and not very scenic. After the stay, I took the same public bus to ZJJ city for TianZhiShan. The pickup location for the public bus is at the same round abt, just wave at the blue bus with the label to ZJJ. Price is also 13rmb and can be paid onboard via WeChat pay. My Yang help me to buy the mountain ticket in advance as its always crowded there. I paid 238rmb for Route 2 ticket which is taking the bus up the mountain and cable car back to the city. It was super nice up in the mountain and the cable car ride was a superb experience. If you need more info can email me @ *****************. Can share more with u solo traveler. Additional Info: The location of the hotel is the best I feel, there are many shops and eatery. Do not stay at the west gate area of WuLingYuan, it's very inconvenient there. The room of the hotel is super big and clean. Bed is VERY comfortable. You have everything you need in the room. Mr Yang will often make me Chinese tea and chit chat. Very friendly and humble boss. Will definitely come back and stay in his hotel again.

PPengguna TetamuDuring our visit to China, we stayed at the ‘Mr Sean Castle’ hotel from 29 July to 1 August 2024.
The hotel is named after ‘Sean the Sheep’ (the character being a favourite of the owner apparently) and, being British, we thought this quirky theme was brilliant… you can see various models of Sean dotted around the hotel.
The hotel was absolutely fabulous and the staff were all so friendly.
As part of our reason for visiting China was to celebrate a 50th birthday, the Mr Sean Castle hotel kindly gave us an upgraded room, which was amazing.
The hotel is in a great location close to downtown Zhangjiajie, but just far enough away to ensure you have a quiet and very peaceful night’s sleep away from any outside noise.
The food at the hotel is first-class, including a great variety of delicious choices for breakfast.
The hotel has an amazing open-air roof-top garden that is packed with beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees… it’s truly breathtaking to see, and was an amazing place to sit and eat as we watched a phenomenal lighting storm play out over the Zhangjiajie mountain range that forms the incredible backdrop to the hotel’s view over the river to the rear.
As stated above, the hotel staff were fantastic, but particular thanks go to ‘Scarlett’ (张思嘉) for her assistance in helping us to arrange the tickets we needed to visit Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon… she sorted everything out for us and without her knowledge and help, our trip would definitely not have been as amazing as it was… thank you again Scarlett!
We would fully recommend the Mr Sean Castle hotel to anyone planning to visit Zhangjiajie, and will definitely stay there again if we ever come back to the amazing city of Zhangjiajie… which is highly likely!
