Pros: Location is not that bad, walking distance to train station and tour bus area. Free coffee and tea and lobby. Need room key to tap in the lift to go to your level. Room is rather spacious. Cons: rooms are rather stuffy, we had to borrow fan. TV is spoilt. Meh: free luggage storage but no security. They just give you the pass to store your luggage in their luggage room yourself. Collection also the same (anyone can take your luggage). There is a mirror above our head, abit weird.

Super quaint hotel close to everything you wanna see. There are tons of shops within walking distance, and the trams are just a few steps from the hotel. It’s was clean, quiet, and comfy. The staff are super friendly, and the hotel offers free water and soda. For the location, the price is great.

A great boutique hotel in old town Zurich. 6 minute walk from Zurich HB train station after our flight into Zurich. Front desk staff Sam was extremely helpful and very polite, spoke English very well. Very clean hotel completely updated and this location is AAA for restaurants and bars, and is also quiet for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was ample to start our day. Coffee was great and a good selection of meats, cheeses, cereal and juice. The chocolate fondue machine at the entrance was really neat!

Great hotel!! Get a room on the top floor with the balcony. It’s a little bit off the beaten path, but about a 20 minute walk into town. Breakfast is good. Shower was great! Helpful front desk. Coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. Not a ton of restaurant options nearby though. We stayed for 4 nights. March, 2024.

The hotel falsely advertises rooms with A/C, but the A/C units do not work. We waited 3 hours for Dominque (the receptionist) to attempt to repair our A/C unit in room 226. When he couldn’t repair it he tried relocating us into a different room. I watched Dominque attempt to repair the A/C unit in the 2nd room and not once would the A/C unit turn on. I saw two other customers in the lobby that were complaining to Dominique about the same A/C problems in their rooms. Dominique was doing the best he could, but if the owner is a slumlord then there is nothing the hotel staff can do to magically make the A/C units working again. I called the hotel several times asking for an update, and the hotel receptionist I spoke with advised that the owner offered us a 20% partial refund. We didn’t even spend s the night in the hotel. We stayed in the room—sweating in the summer heat—for a total of 3 hours while their staff tried to repair the A/C unit. We ended up leaving that night and staying at another hotel instead, yet the slumlord hotel owner expects their guest to pay 80% of the hotel bill. I should have read the other Google reviews before booking. Do Not Stay At This Hotel. The owner is a cheap slumlord .

We stayed in both the main hotel and in the guesthouse across the alley and were quite satisfied if both facilities knowing they been renovated within the last year. The main hotel is right around the corner from Zürich HB the rooms feature a nice private bath (new, big & clean) and nice modern styling. The guesthouse as new and stylish as hotels go, but the modular bath/shower unit with its semi-transparent blue glass leaves a lot to be desired when everyone in the room knows what your doing on toilet (very little privacy). We luckily are prepared and carry large binder clips and clipped a bath towel across the glass during our stay. The staff are amazing and extremely cordial. Free coffee/tea is offered 24/7 in the main hotel and on each floor. Guest house residents must go back across the alley to the main lobby. Day tour buses are right across the street for easy access. We would stay again definitely.

I had a pleasant experience here. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Zurich.Lake Zurich and the Fraumünster Church are within walking distance. I had an early train to catch, The Zurich central station was just a short walk away from the hotel. The property itself is well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating but still there is a room for improvement. The room was comfortable. Room size is small but well occupied. They have lovely spread of breakfast. I do recommend this place for a short stay.

The hotel location was a walking distance of less than 10 minutes to the main train station in Zurich. The room was small but overall comfortable as we have booked a room for 3 person. There is a small balcony to step outside. Service was OK and not a WoW experience all together. Coffee machine at the lobby was chargeable and 0.50 CHF a cup.

We like its convenient location - just couple of blocks away from the train station. We had no problem with checking in. Once I told them about my allergy to room perfume, they changed us to a fragrance-free room, which was nice. Staff were friendly. Even though we could hear some tram noise, we fell asleep quickly without ear plugs probably because we were exhausted from traveling. Hubby likes their homemade ice tea as welcome drink :)

Trip Inn Zurich Hotel is a cheap budget hotel which met our expectation for a simple accommodation. Also, the supermarket is just around the corner. However, we can’t seem to have an option not to have the staff from coming in to clean our room whenever we are out for an activity. We prefer to have more privacy as we do keep some of our less important belongings in the room. Overall, it is a good experience.
