She helped to obtain a complimentary room upgrade, making our stay even more comfortable and memorable. We appreciated the many thoughtful touches — complimentary use of a massage chair, fresh juices, fruits, and snacks. The cultural performance by the hotel staff was a lovely surprise, showcasing local traditions in an engaging way. The room itself was extremely well-equipped, with practical amenities like umbrellas, down jackets, a footbath tub, and even a touch light — all very useful for guests visiting Huangshan’s scenic mountain area. Every aspect of our stay reflected genuine care and attention to detail. Very satisfied with our stay at Xihai Hotel. We booked a suite room (Area B) for a family, but I think because of off peak season, they have the capacity to upgrade us to two bedrooms in the main building (area A) and we are very grateful for that. From the beginning the service was excellent, we were taken to our room and showed what was available. Everything in the room can be used without extra charge and can call to ask for more. Amenities and toiletries are available, room is very clean and breakfast buffet is included. Buffet dinner was ¥180 per person and it has enough varieties (mainly chinese food with some pasta, pizza, cakes). The front view of the hotel is amazing, overlooking Huangshan Mountain. The staff also very informative to guests about sunset and sunrise for the day. There were also a performance after dinner at the lobby for hotel guests. The hotel also provides two hiking jackets and a torch to help hotel guests to go out and about to hike the mountain. Our family has had the best time at Xihai Hotel and highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wish to stay overnight at Xihai Hotel. You won’t disappointed.

If you want the best Sunrise and Sunset views at Huangshan, this is one of the best mountain accommodations. The room is pretty standard and dated, don’t expect too many amenities. Theres buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner at the hotel at a higher price but given the resources are carried up by labourers, its reasonable. If you have a bit more budget, book a room with mountain view so you can view the sunrise/sunset from your room! (Very worth it)

Had a great stay again in this same room. It is very spacious, clean and the attendant takes care of all your needs during the stay. I love that! They bring everything to your door no need to get things yourself. It includes club lounge access which is very convenient for meals. I would definitely book again. Very impressive with the front desk services. Front desk 王盈 is friendly n quick to done our check in. 服务管家小鱼 self introduced herself and providing great services to our 3 nights stay, make sure that we are comfortable during our stays. She is gentle and professional in her task and attentive services. We are attending the Singer Zhou Shen's concert at Hefei, the hotel is so considerate and gives the fans, hand warmer/heat pack, as the weather is getting colder. The daily breakfast also very good, aplenty of dishes to choose from locals and western cruisines. Check out time also has been extended till 4pm by thoughtfulness of 小魚, but we need to catch our train at 1pm....Thank you 小魚. A goodbye gift for us as we leaving. We are having a great time staying in the hotel. The view from our room is fantastic, lake view and part city view. This hotel will be our first choice if we visit Hefei in the future.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room. The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger. My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic. I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

The renovation is probably quite old, and some of the design is not very reasonable. There is no full-length mirror, and the sink does not have a trash can. Also, people will slip small cards into the room at night. The room itself is quite large.

TTangshengshengAfter spending two days at the top of Huangshan, I returned and stayed here again, and it felt even more comfortable. The hotel is very close to Yuping Cableway, with a shortcut staircase just a few minutes' walk away, allowing you to avoid the shuttle buses. It's also very near the Ciguang Pavilion hiking entrance, again with a shortcut staircase for direct hiking. This makes it perfect for guests who want to explore Huangshan in depth. The hotel boasts beautiful scenery and an artistic design. You can see the majestic Tiandu Peak and the spectacular Renzi Waterfall, and at night, you fall asleep to the sound of flowing water. The butler service was excellent – very responsive, accommodating every request, and able to arrange everything in advance. Thumbs up! The driver was very skilled, navigating the mountain roads smoothly without causing any motion sickness, and provided timely pick-ups and drop-offs at the high-speed rail station. Thumbs up! The tea from the lady at the tea room was delightful and refreshing. Thumbs up! The restaurant food was delicious, and the chef's skills were top-notch. Thumbs up! The waitstaff were also very pleasant. Thumbs up! Housekeeping was prompt and the room was very clean. Thumbs up! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan.

GGuest UserI went to Jiuhua Mountain in the fifth year. The homestay I had stayed in was fully booked, so I met Xiangli. Although there were some unpleasantness at the beginning (actually it was probably caused by the pick-up and drop-off service they outsourced), everything was very nice afterwards. First of all, the geographical location is very good, right next to Huacheng Temple. Secondly, I asked the housekeeper on WeChat and the reply was very prompt and the problem was always solved quickly. The afternoon tea provided was very rich and also took children into consideration. Because of the afternoon tea, we decided to have lunch at the B&B the next day, and we were not disappointed, the food was delicious. They also proactively provided an extra quilt and sheets, which could turn the tatami into a small bed, and the children were very happy. In the end, because of an unintentional mistake, the cost of the chicken soup was waived. Although they are all small details, what a B&B does is to present the details in a concrete way. This time the stay experience was very good. Will continue to stay here every time in the future. The magnolia in the yard is a big plus.

The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. GGuest UserIt's a little far from Namdaemun, about ten minutes' drive, but the owner of the B&B is very nice, pick up and drop off. I arrived a day in advance and wanted to store my luggage up the mountain. I called and he immediately drove to move my luggage. It was very quick, so it's no problem if you don't drive yourself. The room is relatively new and clean, and there is a large terrace. Next to it is a small river with very clear water. The environment feels better than some hotels at the foot of the mountain. The breakfast is relatively simple, and you can add more if it's not enough. I just came back from climbing the mountain and I was not feeling well and wanted to eat something light. Overall, I still recommend it

GGuest UserOn the first day, it rained almost continuously during our hike, so we missed many scenic spots. Even with raincoats, we got soaked, cold, wet, tired, and disappointed. However, as soon as we arrived at this hotel, a staff member named Xiao Ye provided almost one-on-one service. She escorted us to our room, turned on the heating, and thoughtfully advised us on how to dry our clothes and shoes. She also gave us detailed tips for the next day's hike, which became the highlight of our day. It's not easy to build a hotel on a mountaintop, but they were well-prepared with heating, shoe dryers, umbrellas, flashlights, and down jackets. In the evening, the hotel staff put on a performance, and early the next morning, there was a guided sunrise tour. Unfortunately, it was foggy, so we didn't see the sunrise, which was a bit of a letdown for our Huangshan trip. However, the excellent service at Baiyun Hotel exceeded my expectations. If I come again, this will definitely be my first choice.

I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint. There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. WWee Meng SengWe are a family of four. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel thoroughly. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The Hotel was surrounded by mountains but it has all the facilities of a five star Hotel. As it was winter we didn't use the swimming pool but we had a fun time soaking in the outdoor hot springs. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious and the ingredients were of the best quality. The reception was warm and professional. The young men and lady running the place gave us excellent advice on how to climb the mountain. Overall, I recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants an excellent time at the mountain base before climbing the mountain and to recoup after the climb before returning to the hustle and bustle of city life.

Not sure, how this hotel is awarded 5 stars? Rooms setup - guess it is time to renovate. Heard the renovation project is approved! Cheers! Services - rooms for improvement! As I had a early flight to catch at 9.50am and the earliest bus from the mountain to the tourist center was 6.30am (again different front desk staffs told me different timings) so I tried to request for a paid car service to send me down. They said the hotel doesn't provide such service, asked me to reach out in the streets to see if the resturants or shop owners can provide such services! 1st time encounter in a 5 stars hotel, really a good learning for me in 2024:)
