The Camel

The Camel is located in a quiet backstreet in the Globe Town area of Bethnal Green. The nearest Tube is Bethnal Green. This pub was built in the mid-nineteenth century and was at one-time a Taylor Walker Brewery house. The most striking part of this building is the impressive burgundy tiled exterior. This is a compact one bar pub that is traditionally decorated with a warm and cosy feel. The servery has a dark wood counter and nice detailing across the front and the back bar. To the left of the servery are a couple of poser tables, a drinking ledge and shelves with an assortment of board games. Opposite the servery is a narrow section of tables which leads to the back of the bar which has more seating, a large mirror and flowery wallpaper which runs throughout.
