Very tidy and clean, chose the bigger room this time really suitable for the family. Definitely chose again in future. Super quite as well so really nice with the family

Good location, close to the seaside trail, warm and thoughtful staff

The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the town centre. It has a private parking building of several levels attached to the hotel. You can access the hotel right from parking lot with your room key. The hotel’s signs can be a little confusing though, so be aware. The room was fine. It was spacious and reasonably clean. The furniture looked quite old though and needed updating. There were only 3 clothes hangers, which was not convenient. But if you are looking for a great location, this is it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed and modern amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit, always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. I especially appreciated the central location — it made exploring the city so convenient. Breakfast was fresh and offered a good variety of options. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Captain Cook Motor Lodge and found it to be tidy and comfortable — a good option for basic accommodation. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, which made everything easy. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

When i first entered the lobby, I thought ”OMG what is this place ?” It seemed like a hotel version of the Bates motel. The owner who is less than fluent in English seemed incredibly enthusiastic to please but his ideas about running a ”hotel” need some mentoring.. The hotel is past its best and is probably more suited to be classed as hostel style accommodation. Certainly not in the $100 a night (solo) that is was listed. $70 would be tops. I arrived wet from a motorbike ride so having a clean bathroom, a hot shower and a/c in the room that I could use to get warm was great. The room was clean, the bed comfy but as other reviewers have said, it needs crisp white sheets.. It is a big, largely empty building and doesn't seem very inviting and has that smell of a million fat fried meals having been cooked there. In summary, it was convenient for me to use but nothing like the picture i had of the place after going to the au.trip.com/hotels to book.

This was a great place to stay. Good price, and very friendly staff. Lovely and clean - everything was tidy and comfortable. If anyhting it would be great if the staff knew abit more about the local area - things to do and whats happening in the area.

Very good, the practical consideration of services and facilities is very thoughtful. Except for the sound of the next door, they are all very good, but everyone is very conscious that they won't be noisy when the time comes.

The location is very good, there is a parking space in front of the room, and some rooms have a spa pool, which is very comfortable. There are also bath tyrants, and children who take a bath are not afraid of cold. You can also cook by yourself. It's really good.
