Hotel Dengan Kolam di Vaud, Switzerland

Exactly what we needed. Comfortable room and bedding, very large shower tub. The Breakfast was nice, with attention to avoid disposable material, fresh yoghurts, two coffee machines. The free Lausanne pass allowing free public transportation (and other advantages) was appreciated.

Everything was just perfect. The location is just within 5 minutes. It commands a good view of the lake and mountains. Furthermore the free bike rental service is the most memorable experience I would suggest. You may visit Chilon Castle to the south or you may also find statutes of famous figures such as Igor Stravinsky, Wilhelm Furtwangler, and Leon Tolstoy to the north. The breakfast, which cost 30 CHF per person was also reasonable. Should I visit Montreux again, the MONA would be the unquestionable choice for me.

Good location very close to the railway station, restaurants etc and a short hop on the metro either downhill to the lake or uphill to the centre of town. One of the nice check in 'gifts' was a public transport pass for the length of your stay....handy. Rooms are a little bizarre in design and don't take a cat as you won't be able to swing it!!. Bed very small, low and uncomfortable however walk in shower in the small partitioned bathroom very good. Breakfast OK ish. Think you pay a premium for the excellent view of the lake. Reception staff very good and helpful. Nothing special about this place but handy, very clean with good staff.

The services of this hotel are not 4-star. Inexperienced and incompetent staff, customer interaction is completely to be reviewed. Little clarity regarding parking availability, bungling staff in general, with communication problems. When we returned to the hotel at 6:30 p.m., 2 of the 4 rooms in our group had still not been redone--and since the cleaning staff had already finished for the day, we had to keep the rooms that way. Unacceptable in a 4-star hotel. Shortly before midnight, upon our return after dinner we are told that 1 of the 4 keys was not left at the front desk when we left for dinner--we are sure we did leave the key, the key fob is really heavy and no one would keep it in their pocket rather than deposit it at the front desk. After much discussion, we are finally given the spare key with the recommendation not to lose it and with the notice that the lost key will be billed to us. Well, in the morning the key is in its slot, we find out that it was a mistake by the staff who had placed it elsewhere by mistake.... No comment. All this is why I think this hotel does not live up to its 4 stars, despite the fact that the building is wonderful and well renovated and its location superb. We did appreciate the refund of 75.- for each room to make up for the inconveniences. Still, mistakes are understandable, what is not understandable nor excusable is the way we were addressed by the staff (when it was not even our mistake!).

The hotel was just across the station. Very posh and good service but the only setback the wifi was a bit troublesome. Many steps lien keying in your country number and the page suddenly disappeared. 🧐

Un des hôtels lausannois du Groupe 'Fassbind' situé dans la montée du Petit-Chêne. Une chambre suffisamment grande, simplement mais joliment meublée, avec un soupçon de design. Une petite terrasse dont je n'ai malheureusement pas pu profiter au vu de la température hivernale, un espace de rangement adéquat, une petite table et chaise pour l'espace salon.  Pour le prix payé à ce moment de l'année (CHF 98.-/nuit de vendredi à samedi), rien à dire, vraiment très bien. Voici quand même quelques suggestions d'amélioration : Des inscriptions pour l'enregistrement reçues en anglais, bizarre... Un système qui vous propose de vous enregistrer à l'avance mais qui vous dit finalement que si vos données ont bien été transmises mais que l'enregistrement n'est pas possible et ce même dans la tranche-horaire à partir de 15h00, bizarre... Plateau-bouilloire posé dans la salle de bains, un peu bizarre... Sol de pierre froid en hiver pour la salle de bains et les WC, offrir des pantoufles en tissu... Devoir prendre 2 ascenseurs différents pour accéder à sa chambre, pas idéal...A mon arrivée dans la chambre l'après-midi le radiateur n'était pas enclenché, il faisait froid...

The price is reasonable and room is neat and nice with an open view. The staff's service is professional. The check in and check out procedures are simple and silky smooth. There is a central railway station nearby and the location is moderate. The transportation is convenient. There are many restaurants close to the hotel and dining is convenient.

Good hotel with close proximity to the train station and city centre. Rooms were great, we stayed in a sailing theme room on the first floor, room was very spacious with queen bed, two balconies and lake view. Windows had electronic shutters for complete comfort and to avoid early morning awakening. Breakfast had good choices of food and beverages.

Room is spacious with good view. Nice staff and free parking. However, the hotel is located near main road and train and thus is quite noisy in the early morning. Except this, everything is fine

I have never see in such hotel level to block everymorning the warranty debit card every with different amounts in a room that was prepaid . To be more specific :blocked amount 4795,00 for expecies 1450.00 . Very strange!

من المتعارف عليه ان نزيل الفندق يستخدم جميع المرافق في الفندق وانا اقصد هنا بالأخص بركة السباحة ولقد تعودنا في جميع الفنادق خاصة الخمس نجوم ولكن تفاجئت بانه ادفع 50 فرنك لكل مرة اذهب الي بركة السباحة مما كلفني الكثير بحجة انه حجزك لا يشمل الدخول الى بركة السباحة مع العلم انه لم اسمع مرة في حياتي بانه حجز لايشمل استخدام بركة السباحة سمعنا لايشمل فطور لايشمل العشاء لكن الدخول الى المسبح هاذا امر غير اعتيادي

Good location though noisy at night with clubs nearby. Can improve cleaning and maintenance (door knob digital system broken, shelves broken,…).

房間小並且不是很乾淨，但價錢算是便宜了，酒店旁邊就是水族館，適合一家大小去，但交通不方便，最好自行租車去，有停車場並且費用很便宜。

It’s a 2 min walk from the IMD campus. So a perfect choice for the schools visitors. An efficient and convenient business hotel, with all you’ll need. One downside is the more expensive premium rooms (renovated) are facing the back , and the older rooms have the lake view. A nice Gym as well and a good spread at breakfast. Although would be nice if they’d add an egg station or change the menu a bit. For IMD students who stay for many days it becomes a bit boring to have the same scrambled eggs every day 😊

Great location and comfortable walk from the train station to the hotel, also near the boat jetty and the slope to walk up to the different streets. The room is spacious with a balcony and has a great view of the Lake (room 406). The rooms and corridors are not carpeted, making it noisy and the wooden floor panels creak. The ventilation in the toilet is poor, and puddles of water take a long time to dry up. Bedsheets, comforters (thrown into the wardrobe, not even folded up), bath towels, and hand towels look worn and used. Wardrobe doors cannot be fully opened because of the portable air cooling/dehumidifier (which is actually quite loud). Only bath towels, hand towels, 2in1 shampoo/shower gel, electric kettle, empty cups, coffee, and tea are provided. Not sure if other amenities are available upon request. The check-in process is a little slow with the self-help system (the email links prior to check-in did not work). Check out is quick and easy.

Sejujurnya saya tidak tahu bagaimana untuk menulis ulasan ini kerana saya telah menempah Villa Toscane dan diberitahu untuk menginap di hotel bertentangan (Royal Plaza) kerana Villa Toscane ditutup semasa musim cuti (iaitu hanya dibuka pada musim panas lolll). Tapi kira naik taraf sebab Royal Plaza ni hotel 5 bintang haha

This hotel is not worth ONE star! The so called ”breakfast” is cheap food in old buffets and a dark, dirty room. THREE old PIECES of cheese and formed ham, as cheap as animal food, is NOT a breakfast, that is simply FRAUD! NEVER TAKE THIS AS A HOTEL!!! It is a kennel on street level. Without blends in front of the window, with damaged bath-insides and damaged furniture insed. It is a CHIZ to every custumor expecting THREE stars! We had THREE little dogs with us, and they charged 45 CHF for ONE room to clean, which was NOT clean before! (I got enough pics of that situation!) We were charged with 248 CHF for a dirty, hot, MOULDY room, CHEAP bread in the morning, a DIRTY and DUSTY dining facility and an extremely unfriendly ”manager”. NEVER again! Deutsch: Dieses Hotel ist KEINEN Stern wert! Das sog. ”Frühstück” bestand aus BILLIGEM Brot, spärlichem Massen-Aufschnitt, INDUSTRIEGEKOCHTEN EINGEFÄRBTEN Eiern, und ALTEN AUFGEBACKENEN GEBÄCKSTÜCKEN. Jede Jugendherberge ist sauberer und macht ein Bufett, wie angekündigt. Das war KEINE 2 CHF wert! (Fotos vorhanden!!). Das Geschirr, wie die Vorlege-Utensilien waren alt und kaputt, der sog. DAS IST EINE DER MIESESTEN ABZOCKEN UND ABSTEIGEN, DIE ICH JE ERLEBTE!!!!!

This hotel was so perfect for everything we needed! It’s right outside the main train station with a good link everywhere (Montreaux, Chateau du Chillon, Lausanne, Les Diablerets). Right outside the hotel, you have supermarkets, shopping center, restaurants, pharmacies and even a medical center for adults and kids (just in case). Staff members were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a room upgrade, large bed, seating area, fridge and cooking oven. It’s also a short walk to all main attractions (5-10 minutes) plus bus 201 takes you everywhere. As a plus, there’s a hot tub in the roof top that is perfect to end the day. If there’s any points of improvement, it would be breakfast, that could have a biggger variety. But that wouldn’t not change my opinion about this hotel. For us, it’ll always be our stay when visiting the Vevey-Montreaux area. Highly recommend it!

Love love love the view at Lake Geneva! Restaurant needed booking ahead of time, but food was decently good albeit abit pricey. Very accessible via bus, or you could take a stroll down lake Geneva. Affordable room prices with an awesome view. Sauna and jacuzzi were good and restful. No regrets!

The hotel modern design rooms are regular size furniture nice just one thing they don't have AC air condition its just looks like AC but actually its A Fan i requested 2 time to fix it as it wasn't working and i had to open window all night which noisy as location next to highway, about restaurant breakfast was good multi choices but i feel kind of expensive, mostly who stay in this hotel groups, there is parking infornt of hotel private for hotel, if i wanna recommend this hotel for who just want to spend night in as location is good near by highway you can access in out to hotel easier for any trip also near by Montreux abd Vevey Blonay. So nothing near by hotel supermarket cafe resturant that you have to keep in mind to get your things as swiss close 7 pm, also discovering vaud area that much better than staying in montreux down near by lake as road tiny and takes time toreach.

This hotel is unique for its charm and service; it has its own personality because of the personnel and the owner. The location is special for the view, breakfast is perfrect and the rooms are graced with Montreux Jazz artists. One feels the magic of the Waadtland :-) Bravo for the excellent service, attention, and experience. This will be my place in Montreux!
