Good Winter 2025 holidays with good hotel, cleanliness, good bedding *we slept deeply and soundly * all heater works well superb good Rm5005 ( no windows with round tub), giving thanks to the most friendliest staff to Pretty Miss Liu and the gentle lady during our first day 11/12 on duty! Keep up your service! They are always so welcoming and helpful to assist esp. our food delivery ( that need a local number) she even use her rewards point for our ordering! So thoughtful and kind! We will visit dalian bcos of *刘小姐* good memorable service! Yummy b1st from hotel good setting too. Travel anywhere with didi are so convenient, good location with residential turn out so homely. We had free costume dressing from hotel, gdscent capsule laundry and my baby girl experienced her first snow in dalian too 13/12! We love snowy in Dalian! This hotel is perfectly located! We were able to walk to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, Xiaonan Church, and Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence all within 15 minutes. They even have robots that deliver takeout right to your room on the upper floors, which was a fun surprise. The free underground parking is incredibly convenient. From the 26th-floor observation deck, you can even catch a beautiful night view of the Imperial Palace. The front desk service was excellent, and the self-service afternoon tea had a great variety. The coffee started at 9 am and was really good. Check-in and check-out were super fast, with no deposit or room inspection required, which was incredibly convenient. I'd definitely stay here again; I was truly impressed! There's also a large shopping mall nearby, making dining and shopping very easy. Oh, and they have billiards and a library on the first floor for guests to enjoy. The free underground parking is a huge plus.

The room was clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel also has robot delivery for contactless service, which is perfect for someone like me who's a bit introverted! The hotel is located in Zhongshan District, close to the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the check-in and check-out process was efficient. The staff even proactively helped with my luggage, which was a great experience. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly.

Facilities: A bit dated, with small cracks on the cabinet above the mini-fridge and some wall areas, as shown in the last two photos. Overall, it's nothing major and doesn't affect the stay; considering it's a hotel over ten years old, one shouldn't be too demanding. The hotel's facilities are generally complete, with standard luxury hotel amenities. The breakfast is decent; it offers more variety than some Westins but less than some Marriotts. However, the quality is good, especially the desserts which are delicious, and there's a wide selection of juices and milk. Some Marriott hotels even offer a full Cantonese dim sum spread, whereas here there are only a few hot dishes, making the variety seem limited, but the taste is excellent. The potatoes in the pork rib stew are very fragrant, and the boiled shrimp are quite large. All the fruits weren't sweet enough; the fruit quality could be improved. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: A landmark building in Dalian, nestled against the mountain and overlooking the sea – definitely worth a visit. It's even more stunning for photos at night. It's about a 10 to 15-minute walk downhill, and a bit far from the subway station, but it's away from the city's hustle and bustle, and getting a taxi is very convenient. There's a sky garden on the 5th floor, and the lobby is magnificent; any photo taken there looks great. Service: Thoughtful and attentive. Someone helps open car doors and handle luggage upon arrival. There's a dedicated butler service that tries its best to accommodate reasonable guest requests. The mini-bar requires extra payment, but a welcome fruit platter and dessert were provided, along with a large bottle of homemade beer. This hotel's beer isn't available online, but it's genuinely delicious.

The branded toiletries were high-quality, and there wasn't a speck of dust or water stain anywhere—the cleanliness was impeccable. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick and efficient, and the staff were warm and professional. They even proactively recommended local dining spots and routes. Services like ordering food and requesting items were also incredibly prompt. The breakfast offered a rich selection of both Western and Chinese options, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors—even the coffee was freshly ground. All facilities were well-maintained and fully equipped, and the high-speed WiFi was stable throughout our stay. The value for money far exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit!

I saw on Ctrip that this was rated as the number one high-end hotel in Liaoning, and it certainly lives up to its reputation! 🤔 The views from the upper floors are absolutely stunning, and the lobby has a really nice design. Plus, there are lots of handsome 180cm+ guys at the front desk who are super friendly and enthusiastic (and beautiful women too, hahaha). I'll definitely be back next time! The hotel offered so many complimentary perks, but I was too busy going out for hot springs and skiing to experience them all. Next time I visit, I'll make sure to fully enjoy the hotel amenities. Looking forward to it!

The purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life. **Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.) **First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.) Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once: * **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite. * **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that. * **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway! * **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation. * **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down. * **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling. **A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

I booked rooms for my bosses this time, and as soon as I submitted the order, I received a proactive message from Lynn. Her prompt response immediately put my mind at ease! What surprised me even more was that she specifically arranged both of my bosses' rooms on the 21st floor, a high floor. Not only did they have bright, open views, but the two rooms were also very close to each other, making it convenient for them to communicate. She even considered such small details for us, which was incredibly thoughtful and saved us a lot of hassle! Later, when we unexpectedly needed to extend the stay, I just mentioned it to Lynn, and she quickly helped me coordinate everything. The whole process was efficient and smooth. After checking in, both bosses gave feedback that the rooms were comfortable and the arrangements were considerate, all thanks to Lynn's attentiveness. We might have similar booking needs in the future, so please keep an eye out for us!

The multi-functional charging cable by the bed, the complimentary upgrade to a latex pillow, and the free drinks and snacks in the mini-bar – every little detail makes you feel incredibly comfortable.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Zhongshan Square, and just a ten-minute walk to the subway station, making it super convenient to get to Venice Water City and Russian Style Street. Downstairs, there's a fantastic array of food options, from seafood BBQ to local snacks – no worries about finding something delicious to eat. The high-altitude view from the 46th floor and above is simply breathtaking. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a 180-degree unobstructed seaview; during the day, the clear blue sea and sky are right there, and at night, the city lights and the bay twinkle together. Every photo you take looks like a masterpiece. The two-bedroom, one-living room layout is perfect for families or friends traveling together. The space is large and airy, with a modern, minimalist decor that feels very high-quality. The room was sparkling clean. The high-speed WiFi was a great bonus, the bedding in the bedrooms was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with strong water pressure, and the toiletries are of good quality – attention to detail was evident. The service was incredibly warm and friendly. The front desk staff were efficient and professional, patiently answering all our questions and even offering free underground parking, which was a huge relief for those traveling by car. As a new hotel opened in 2024, all the facilities are brand new, and the value for money far exceeds competitors in the same price range. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Dalian. You can't go wrong with this place!
