This time I chose to stay at the YOHO Golden Island Hotel in Macau, which offers great value for money 🏨. I stumbled upon it on Xiaohongshu and was instantly captivated by the room view. I booked the Pure Gold (Golden Island) Fireworks Seaview Room for around $7xx. The room was spacious and comfortable, with warm and elegant lighting, and a subtle, pleasant fragrance. Located in the heart of the Macau Peninsula, the hotel room offered panoramic views of the Macau Tower, Penha Hill Chapel 💒, and Nam Van Lake 🌃. Downstairs is the YOHO Golden Island Mall, with everything you need for dining, shopping, and entertainment – super convenient! 🤩 There are clothes, cosmetics, a cinema, supermarket, restaurants, and more. 🏨 Hotel lobby on the 2nd floor 🏋️ Gym room 24hrs (2/F) 🏊‍♀️ Three infinity pools where you can swim and enjoy beautiful views (2/F). One of them is a heated pool (so you can swim comfortably even in winter). 🌟🎶 You can even swim and listen to music underwater! 🏪 Convenience store 24hrs (2/F) 🍽️ Restaurants (2/F) After checking in and dropping off our luggage, my friend and I went downstairs to watch a movie. This cinema is Macau's first Bona International Cinema. My friend and I watched Zootopia 2 there – the environment and facilities were excellent 👍. They have VIP screening rooms with different themes, USB charging ports, and small lights. ☕️ After the movie, we went to the famous Blooom for a coffee. The outdoor red apple trees were adorned with Christmas ribbons and scarves, super cute! 🍣 Hokkaido Uoichi Rotating Sushi Fresh ingredients and a wide variety, also great value for money. 🎭 South Beauty Elegant and upscale dining environment with a variety of dishes, featuring Sichuan, Hunan, Shandong, and Cantonese cuisines. This is an older hotel, but it's still very well-maintained. The facilities are comprehensive, and the service is excellent. Luggage storage is convenient, and it's easy to get anywhere by foot or shuttle. It's my favorite hotel when I come to Macau.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a bus stop right outside. The airport shuttle bus conveniently stops directly in front of the hotel, which is a huge plus! While the hotel facilities are a bit old-fashioned, they are complete, and the shower always has plenty of hot water. The staff are enthusiastic and always ready to help! I really enjoyed the food at the 18th-floor restaurant and the hotel's breakfast buffet. I'll definitely choose to stay here again in the future!

This hotel is quite old, with a very vintage feel and a strong sense of history.~~ Facilities: Average, generally quite old. I was particularly unhappy with the hairdryer; it was stuck in a drawer, couldn't be pulled out, and was tethered by a cord, making it incredibly difficult to use. It's not like I'm going to steal a hairdryer, it's not even valuable... Hygiene: Decent. Environment: Close to Fisherman's Wharf, overall pretty good. Service: The front desk staff were quite cold, making me wait until well after 3 PM for check-in. I don't think I'll be returning.

This popular hotel is really crowded, with many tourists checking in just to experience it. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to Taipa Ferry Terminal. The shopping arcade on the third floor has a wide variety of brands, and some stores even had promotions during Christmas. The hotel room facilities are a bit dated, but they are spacious enough, and the staff are all very friendly. There's a shuttle bus back to Hengqin in the evening, but the last one departs at 8:20 PM, so don't be late!

Great hotel with an excellent location and service. The hotel is incredibly clean and well maintained. Jockey Club metro station is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby. All the famous casinos can be reached within a few minutes by bus. The view from the room is very nice — you can even see Zhuhai. Taipa ferry port and the airport are also not far, which is very convenient. The staff are friendly, professional, and responsive. All our requests were handled promptly, and the reception kindly allowed us to check out one hour later than the official time. thanks to Charles for helping us with the shuttle bus schedules.

Overall a solid 4 star. The property is big and new. Casino is well run, odds are not the best (like dealer stand on all 17 on black jack). Staff are very helpful. My suggestion is for the Frozen Snow attraction. They start handing out ticket at 12pm, but there was like 200 people lining up at 11am already. Instead of just handing the ticket out and have people come back, they make everyone wait in line, just to pick ip the to ticket to come back at a later time. Really wasted an hour or so of 200 people's time. The waterpark was great. For tickets to attractions and dinner, you get discount as a hotel guest. However! If you charge the cost to your room, you dont get a discount. I hope this policy is changed as for foreigners, we dont have alipay/wechat pay, so we prefer to charge to room and settle it all at the end.

The bathroom is equipped with Bulgari amenities, and an aroma diffuser next to the deep soaking tub helps melt away travel fatigue in a fragrant mist. The biggest surprise was the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows – directly overlooking the hotel's central 'Verdant Wonderland' garden. Drawing the curtains in the morning, the dew-kissed lawn and Baroque gazebos were serenely picturesque in the morning light, making it feel like living in Alice's Wonderland. The dining experience was equally unforgettable. 'The Buffet at Grand Lisboa Palace' on the third floor offers a global culinary journey with open kitchens, from authentic Macanese African chicken to Japanese sashimi and French pastries, all boasting impeccable freshness. Meanwhile, 'Mesa' on the second floor, crafted by Michelin-starred chef José Avillez, presents creative Portuguese cuisine. Their signature 'seafood rice,' simmered with saffron and fresh seafood, offers a taste of the ocean's sweetness in every bite. For a ritualistic afternoon tea experience, head to 'The Grand Pavilion Bar,' which hosts Asia's first Versace-themed palatial afternoon tea. Macarons and sandwiches are served on gold-rimmed porcelain plates, paired with the specially concocted 'Oriental Charm' cocktail, with even the straws adorned with hand-embroidered ribbons – every detail speaks of luxury. The hotel's entertainment facilities are truly a 'one-stop vacation paradise.' The indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools on the third floor are a favorite for families, with 29°C water ensuring children can splash around without feeling cold. The gym is equipped with the latest Technogym machines, and floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic garden views, making workouts feel like exercising in a forest. For art lovers, the hotel's 'Virtual Palace of Versailles' exhibition is a must-see – it recreates the splendor of Louis XIV's palace through 3D projection and scent technology. As the light from the Hall of Mirrors dances on the walls and the scent of orange blossom wafts through the air, you might momentarily believe you've traveled back to the 17th-century French court. Regarding transportation, although the hotel is located in the eastern part of Taipa Island, it offers seamless connectivity to the Border Gate, ferry terminals, and major attractions via free shuttle buses. We took a bus to the Ruins of St. Paul's, a mere 20-minute ride, and on the return, we even found the hotel's 'night special line,' avoiding the inconvenience of late-night taxis. It's worth noting that while the hotel staff primarily speak Cantonese and English, the front desk specifically employs 'Guest Relations Ambassadors' fluent in Mandarin. From luggage storage to attraction recommendations, their service is meticulous, even preemptively providing a universal adapter we temporarily needed directly to our room. Of course, even a perfect journey can have minor imperfections. While the hotel's 'New Yaohan' shopping mall offers a comprehensive range of brands, some stores close relatively early. For late-night shopping, you might need to venture to the nearby Wynn Palace. Additionally, due to the hotel's grand scale, it's easy to get lost in the hallways during a first stay; we recommend picking up a floor guide to carry with you. On the day we left Grand Lisboa Palace Macau, the front desk presented us with a customized 'GLP Club' membership gift box, containing exclusive hotel aromatherapy products and postcards. Looking back at this golden-domed edifice, I suddenly understood why it has become a new landmark in Macau's hotel industry – it’s not just a place to stay, but an immersive experience of aesthetics, culture, and life. If your desired travel isn't just about 'checking off attractions' but also about finding a serene haven of luxury in a bustling city, Grand Lisboa Palace might just be your answer.

The hotel is great, especially Erica, Delia, and Yoyo at the front desk who provided warm, thoughtful, and professional service. The hotel facilities are very complete, with many thoughtful touches like a Dyson hairdryer, a coffee machine, and an automatic toilet. The sunset viewing platform is particularly stunning; watching the sunset and the evening glow from there is truly beautiful. I would definitely consider coming back again.

An experience that exceeded expectations! This established hotel truly delivers star-level service. I loved the European-inspired decor. A special shout-out to Patrick at check-in – not only did he upgrade me for free, but he also gave me a 'lucky' room number. When checking out, a friendly young man at the door even helped me call a taxi. It was a very satisfying stay, and I'll definitely choose Artyzen again.
