If you're unsure which hotel to choose, Altira will never disappoint. I've been staying here for almost ten years straight, and every time, it feels like coming home. The cleaning is meticulous, and there's turn-down service every evening. On important holidays, the hotel even prepares cakes. Any reasonable request you have, the hotel tries its best to accommodate. Downstairs, shopping and dining are very convenient, and there's also Pop Mart. To get to Rua do Cunha, you can take a bus right outside. Now that the subway is completed, it's even faster to get to Rua do Cunha and A-Ma Temple. Overall, it was comfortable, and the infinity pool was truly beautiful. Although the location isn't in the concentrated hotel area near Galaxy, it's not too far from the Jockey Club Light Rail Station. Near the Jockey Club Station, there are many great food options, including the Michelin-recognized old eatery Wing Kee. There's also a Supermarket and convenience stores; I really like that commercial area. It's perfectly fine to walk slowly (about 15-20 minutes). The hotel offers shuttle buses to Venetian and also to Macau Airport, but it takes a roundabout route. It's better to take a taxi or catch a bus from Venetian. There are also shuttle buses to Senado Square (near the Ruins of St. Paul's). The frequency isn't super high, but it's manageable if integrated into your itinerary. Walking for about 20 minutes also gets you to Broadway Macau, and crossing the pedestrian bridge leads directly to Galaxy. For those who don't mind walking, it's a good option. The hotel is a bit high-tech, with many touch-sensitive controls. However, for some reason, two out of the three rooms we booked had TVs that stopped working midway through our stay. We called IT to fix them, and they did get repaired, but it didn't last long. We just left them on for the sound. The two beds pushed together were very large and could comfortably sleep three people. Overall, it was quite good, and the weekday prices were also decent.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times, and it always feels cozy. There are quite a few rooms available, and the transportation is pretty convenient, with a Sands shuttle bus nearby. It's a great option for families, couples, or business travelers. Especially the sea view rooms – you can relax and enjoy the ocean view. A really good choice!

The service was excellent, especially Alion Hou, the handsome young man at the front desk who checked us in. He patiently suggested touring routes, must-see attractions, time-saving and cost-effective transportation options based on our itinerary, and other important tips. He even thoughtfully jotted them down on a card for us – very convenient and practical to have on hand. Finally, he gave us a brochure about Macao's culture and history. This hotel is not only great for young people seeking entertainment but also perfect for family vacations with kids and seniors. The Grand Canal Shoppes on the third floor feel like a real scene, with shops lining the winding banks. It loses its commercial feel, allowing for a relaxed and leisurely experience.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, especially during the summer holiday season. Many luxury hotels in Taipa charge 3000 patacas a night, but this one is only a few hundred. It's located opposite StarWorld, so we can take the shuttle from StarWorld or Wynn and then cross over. Being in the Senado Square area makes it very convenient.

Stayed at Hotel Kyoto in Macau for two days and had a really good overall experience. The location is definitely a plus – you can walk to St. Paul's Ruins and Rua de Cinco de Outubro, making it super convenient for shopping and finding food. The room was clean and tidy, and the living environment was comfortable. It saved a lot of hassle traveling with elderly people and children. It's a quiet spot despite being central and very convenient for getting around. For families visiting Macau, it's a great value-for-money accommodation choice.

The service was excellent during my stay! However, I ran into an issue during checkout that required police assistance. While waiting for the police to arrive, my phone was almost out of battery. I asked the front desk if I could borrow a power adapter. The male front desk staff said they had one and asked for my room number. I told him I had already checked out but just needed to charge my phone in the lobby for a bit and would return it right away. The staff then immediately said they didn't have one. Hmm! I've stayed at your hotel many times during my trips to Macau, and the service has always been great. But this time was really disappointing! If my phone wasn't about to die and I couldn't scan for a power bank, I wouldn't have even asked to borrow an adapter after checking out. I understand you have a right not to lend it, as it's your property. But I still wanted to share this experience. After all, even if a guest has checked out, shouldn't there be a bit more humanity when they're in urgent need of help?

This was my first stay at a Macau hotel where I could check in before 12:00 PM, which is incredibly convenient for families traveling with children! The front desk staff, Monica, was so thoughtful and attentive. I've been to Macau countless times and stayed at many hotels, but Monica deserves a perfect 100! This hotel is also fantastic for kids, with a water park, playground, and other great facilities – it's super comfortable for families with little ones! The hotel even arranged for a tent to be set up, which the kids absolutely loved. Both of them slept in the tent that night 🏕️. I'll definitely be staying here again next time. Thank you! 🙏

The hotel is conveniently located near a bus station and a supermarket. Check-in was efficient during off-peak hours, and the front desk staff tried their best to accommodate requests for non-smoking, non-corner rooms. They even proactively offered an extra key card for electricity, which was very helpful. The room itself was relatively clean and tidy, and disposable amenities were readily provided. However, the bathroom facilities are a bit dated as the hotel is a little old.

Every time I visit Macau, I always stay at the Grand Lisboa. If you're looking for a hotel on the peninsula, the Grand Lisboa is definitely the most convenient and best value for money. It's very close to the Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's, and shopping is incredibly easy. It's about a seven or eight-minute walk to Wynn to see the Tree of Prosperity. The hotel's breakfast buffet and dinner are also of very good quality.
