You have to walk to the end of Jiufen's old street with all the twists and turns. where you will find an alley full of inns and tea houses. The view is so breathtaking from up here. You pass the temple and you will find yourself in this little inn tucked in this mountainside. The front desk was super nice and helpful. They have a place to take off your shoes and change into a pair of slippers. the front desk area also has a place to get water, tea, coffee or heat up snacks or toast. The room was breathtaking, our room once you lay down on the bed can see the ocean. The room was clean and tidy. Very minimal industrial chic. The shower area could be a little cleaner but it was ok. Bring insect repellent if you get bitten easily like me. With the humidity and the mountainside, there are bound to be mosquitoes. The bed was super comfy, we decided to stay the night at Jiufen because we wanted to experience the night lights once all the tourists left the area. The lanterns are beautiful. Also we wanted an early start before it gets too busy at Ameis Teahouse.

Fabulous stay. Love the quiet, serene ambience although there are sounds of dogs and animals which is common in nature. The host, Mr Zhang is so warm and helpful that we felt treated like old friends coming for a visit. There is a dog and many cats in the house but non threatening. They make themselves scarce, somehow if guests are afraid of them. As the BnB is up on the mountain, it’s easier to get around if there a car. The host goes out of his way to help and provide advice on where to go and how to get there. Perfect host! The only room with twin beds is the family room for four. The other room is spacious to with king or queen beds. A good place for a retreat.

因為兒子所以選住ihotel, 房間空間適中，早餐半自助，主菜看出厨師有花心思有驚喜，有洗衣房及小食飲品全天24小時供應。飯店距離捷運站不遠，到附近的中壢夜市很方便，晚上街道也有不少宵夜攤檔。唯有一點塵蟎過敏，早上在執拾掉到床底的物件才發現很多塵，希望飯店多注意清潔。

Good Time was a wonderful bed and breakfast, just a 5 minute walk from old street. There were some stairs required to get to the hotel, but the walk was short. The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Happens to be only a stopover before my Sun Moon Lake stay, this Taichung boutique hotel were quite decent despite asking budget range of rates. Locate in centre of multiple attractions here, with okay room amenities. I don’t quite like the “king bed” set up from two twin beds, with two twin quilts etc. The bathtub in the room were small. Room has a emergency fire escape which I think was weird - I’ve stay in a few city hotels now in Taiwan and this is a first. Probably would try the better tub room with a balcony one day.

Amazing room. Spacious toilet. Heated toilet seat. Unfortunately was assigned a level 2 room, which coincides with a pedestrian walkway. Due to the low level can’t see the sea view either. Service was very good though. Would stay again. Hopefully given a higher floor next time

Nice and quiant place. But check in at 5pm instead of what's stated is really quite painful. Throw a spanner to my program. Simple, easy and safe place. Just beside a police station! The craft beer selection is a bonus!
