"it's a very clean and well-organized apartment, we stayed 2 nights, and loved the experience. The well-equipped kitchen is the best one we ever encountered, the strong shower water pressure is like a heaven, specially after a long cold day out. We highly recommend it and love to go back for next trip."

"We are really disappointed at the stay of the Aurora Igloo as it didn’t mention that there’s no toilet inside the room. We have to walk for 100m outside to get the bathroom as the winter is so cold and windy in December. Moreover, the hotel heater isn’t working really well, so we didn’t stay for the second night. As we have spoken to the owner, he says that we are able to receive refund in to my card. Thank you."

"We had a wonderful stay at Black Beach Suites—my family absolutely loved it. The rooms are beautifully designed, with a darker interior that likely helps reduce light pollution for aurora viewing. We were fortunate enough to see the northern lights twice—once right after checking in near the reception area, and again in the middle of the night. In addition, the views of the Reynisfjara black sand beach just behind the hotel are absolutely stunning and add so much to the overall experience. We were only able to book one night as the rest of the dates were fully taken, which honestly says a lot about how popular this place is. The staff were friendly and helpful, even while busy managing the bar. I asked one of the staff members about weather and driving conditions for the rest of our trip around Iceland, and she went out of her way to provide useful information. The only downside was the sofa bed, which had a noticeable large dip in the middle and was quite uncomfortable compared to the main beds. It may benefit from an upgrade or an alternative setup."
