Hotel Ocean View di Taiwan, China

The hotel owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.We stayed for three nights as a family. I sincerely recommend the hotel. 😊

部屋もバスルームも広くて清潔です。 朝食は数種類からチョイスが可能。 海沿いにあり、花蓮夜市にも徒歩圏内。 駅からはバスもしくはタクシーがいいと思います。 また宿泊したいと思いました。

Homestay was amazing! Room was so cute, clean and nice. Service was also good. Only con was that there was no handsoap in the room.

Updates: I had a great stay at Fullon Hotel Hualien. The room was spacious, comfortable, and has awesome view of the harbor. The location is ideal for me—close to the coast, at the start of the bike trail, and in a peaceful area. I loved being able to borrow a bike from the hotel, making it easy to explore the bike-friendly town. The staff was friendly and attentive. Even those who didn’t speak English used Google Translate to communicate, which I appreciated. The only downside was difficulty reaching the hotel before my arrival to confirm the station pick-up, which wasn’t sorted out and confirmed until the day before I arrived. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel. Most likely will stay here again next time I'm in Hualien. Hopefully, I can reach them easier next time. ==================== 2025/01/13: Impossible to contact as a foreign visitor. I tried to send messages to the hotel via both email and LINE that were listed on their website since I don't live in TW. I tried to arrange for their pick up service from Hualien Station which is included with my stay. I have sent my inquiry for the details. I finally managed to get messages back one time via LINE after a day with a website that's not in English and a picture showing only a phone number for booking. At least the hotel didn't ask me to do international phone call and finally said I can request the booking with them via the LINE channel. So I sent the booking request with details. That was 3 days ago. And I have not received any message back or heard a peep from them. So I assume the service is still not booked. Not that the free ride matters since I should be able to get a cab easily, but the service, especially what's promise and the helpfulness of the staff, is quite underwhelming and on the side of not hospitable. For the same trip, I also had to reach out to Tango Hotel Taipei. They were very helpful with my inquiry and very fast. Hopefully the stay is nice. I'll come back to update my review then.

Nice hotel and very close to Xincheng train station where there is also a regular free bus to Hualien and Taroko (around once an hour until mid afternoon). There's also a paid bus that goes more regularly to the Taroko visitor centre. Whilst it's close the the station, there's nothing much else here. It's 1km walk to the closest 7-11 or Familymart and even further to a restaurant in the old street. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food was nice, but it closes at 7:30.

You can walk to the hotel from Xincheng station in about 20 minutes. There is a shuttle that takes you from the hotel to either Xincheng or Hualien station for free, which I appreciate. The immediate area around the hotel and from Xincheng station is quite remote and there are basically no stores or restaurants open. Thus you will probably have to eat all meals at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty good though and the pricing is reasonable, all things considered. The main benefit of the hotel is the hotel pool. Personally i have a bit of mixed feelings about the pool because the view of the ocean and the beach is partially blocked by some trees, however, overall it is indeed a nice view especially of the mountains in the back. You can also walk to the beach in a few minutes, which is convenient. Service is good. Overall if you are planning to check out Hualien but don't plan to go to Taroko gorge, I think this is a decent option.

The view is so great with over 40 square meter and an queen size bed, no matter day & night it's wonderful view ahead of you. With just 5 minutes walking you can ride on the light railway with only 10 Taiwan Dollars if you are using EasyCard or iPass otherwise you have to buy the ticket at 30 Taiwan dollars. The Railway can take you to most of the sightseeing places; it is really so convenience...

很棒，房間打開就是海邊，check in的時候在等著住房時還會供應小點心，服務人員的態度也非常的親切，房內環境也很乾淨，很值得推薦

It’s pretty clean but there’s always 1-2 tiny cockroaches after housecleaning in the bathroom. Never really see one in the room. Sofa has some stains. The socket is the 2pin socket so must have travel adapter. Location was quite good, near some small night market and has a mart behind the building. Near to light rail and some bus stops to attraction area. The host explains everything in details and they only cleared up rubbish that are near the bins. Items on tables/ bed are untouched.
