Hotel Ocean View di Crete, Greece

This hotel is located fairly central, various bus lines go past with a stop right outside the door. Reception staffed 24/7 & they were very helpful. Room was clean & equipped with everything you need, aircon also worked well. The continental breakfast was also very good & breakfast room clean & plenty of seating (was open from 7.30-10.30 when we visited). All in all an excellent hotel which we will definitely use again.

What a lovely stay in Crete! This hotel is gorgeous and spotless. The Breakfast Buffet was outstanding, and every staff member I encountered during my 3-day stay was smiling and helpful. My Executive seaside room was spacious and well-furnished, and it was a perfect place to recharge on my 3-week journey. It was an easy walk from the port (I arrived with SeaJets), and the public bus to the Palace of Knossos was waiting for me right below the hotel the next day. The concierge gave great advice on places to visit, and called for the (15€!) taxi when it was time to get to the airport. Efharistó, Megaron!

De mogelijkheid een kopje thee voor jezelf te zetten en aan het bureau wat kaarten naar je familie en vrienden te schrijven. Of heerlijk op het klein maar fijn balkon te gaan zitten en te genieten. Stevige matrassen fijne kussens. Extra dekens in de kast indien nodig. Ruime kast om al je spullen in kwijt te kunnen. Kluis en koelkast aanwezig. Lange spiegels om jezelf te kunnen bewonderen voordat je de deur uit gaat. Verduisterende gordijnen. Nette badkamer. Fijne douche. Shampoo en zeep aanwezig. Kamers netjes bijgehouden door de hardwerkende mensen van de schoonmaak. Ontbijt uitgebreid en lekker. Personeel bij de receptie vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Personeel van de keuken en bediening ook erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zwembad aanwezig. Alleen nog niet gevuld daar het nog april was. Fitnessruimte aanwezig alleen geen tijd gemaakt om daar gebruik van te maken. Ook is er de mogelijkheid je kleren te wassen. Rethimno centrum/old town op loopafstand. Veel winkels en eetmogelijkheden in de omgeving. Ik raad een verblijf aan in dit hotel aan.

SanSal and the employees provides exceptional service. The rooms and the view where clean and modern. The food at the pool bar was very reasonable and tasty. I will definitely be back to this hotel.

Absolutely stunning place in a perfect location just a short stroll along the sea front to the historic old town of Chania and the Venetian Harbour. In the other direction an even shorter stroll to the harbour and Nea Chora beach - which has a ton of bars shops and restaurants. Property is directly on the seafront in a real tranquil location - with a beautiful pool and incredible sea views everywhere you stood. The staff were fantastic and even contacted me on WhatsApp prior to my stay to arrange my check in. Had my room ready early - which was fabulous. I was incredibly lucky to have a suite with a hot tub right on the sea front - beautifully decorated, fresh, clean and the views from the balcony were incredible. I believe breakfast is included for all guests, which was lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food drinks and pastries. The only criticism is of myself that I didn’t stay longer. I would come back in a heartbeat!

This hotel is very nice and clean, it has a nice pool outside and awesome balcony view. Room was very nice.

Every hotel staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. We received welcome snacks snd message in the room. The room was modern with air condition, high ceiling and nice amenities. Breakfast was buffet-style as and adequate. Location is very close to many shops and restaurants but without the noise. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage at their spa. Enhancement areas suggested for Room 11: shower door does not close; the queen bed was two separate single beds put together instead of one mattress, and with separate bedcover sheets instead of one queen sized bedcover sheet; a kettle would have been useful.

Excellent little hotel in the heart of Chania Old Town. The rooms have a unique rustic charm and are clean + well decorated. Some of the problems other reviews mentioned didn’t occur for us: even though our room faced the busy alleyway, we never heard much noise in the night and we personally had no issues with the reception staff as they were almost always there and willing to offer advice, recommendations, or assistance at a moment’s notice. Definitely would recommend this or other Elia guesthouses in the future!
