Minha esposa e eu adoramos tudo no hotel!!!! Muito cheiroso!!! Café da manhã impecável!!!! Único detalhe é o estacionamento do hotel que é limitado e não comporta, aí tem que deixar o carro do lado de fora, mas isso não atrapalhou a experiência.

The location is great, staff super friendly but a bit slow
The food was good.
Small cockroach and insect in the room and the breakfast area.
The balcony window it’s not closing properly you can hear everything from outside and the wind specially night the people super happy outside.
The electricity kept cutting between time to time we were in the 14th floor, which we have to come down and up by the staircase.
The elevator was not working above six hours.

HORÁRIO DO CAFÉ DA MANHÂ FIZEMOS UMA SUGESTÃO, POIS HORÁRIO DE 08:00 HS FICA TARDE, FALAMOS QUE O IDEAL SERIA PELO MENOS O INÍCIO ÀS 07 HORAS.
AS TOALHAS NA CHEGADA ( SÓ TINHA UMA , TIVE DE PEGAR OUTRA E NÃO TINHA DE ROSTO, DERAAM DE BANHO NO LUGAR ) REGULARES, PRINCIPALMETE NA TROCA , COLOCARAM UMAS TOALHAS BEM RUINS, NÃO TINHA TAPETINHO DE BANHEIRO , TINHAMOS QUE PISAR NO CHÃO COM OS PÉS MOLHADOS.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Nacional in Rio. The location is unbeatable — right on São Conrado beach with incredible views and great beach service. While it doesn’t have an endless list of amenities, the ones it offers are more than enough to relax and enjoy a great vacation: a beautiful pool, comfortable rooms, and attentive staff.
As a constructive note, Wi-Fi coverage could be improved in some areas of the hotel. That said, we had a wonderful experience overall and would definitely come back!

Achei a pousada uma graça! Todos os funcionários muito atenciosos e educados. O quarto é muito bom, confortável, limpo e tem uma vista maravilhosa!
Pontos de melhoria:
1) Restaurante precisa melhorar bastante. Fiz o pedido de filet mignon com nhoque de abóbora e estava bem ruim. A carne completamente sem gosto e cinza acompanhada do nhoque massudo e sem gosto tb. Me cobraram caro pela refeição. O café da manhã é honesto, gostoso.
2) SPA. Sei que é uma empresa terceirizada, mas o atendimento precisa melhorar tb. Solicitei uma massagem via WhatsApp e as massoterapeutas não respondiam de jeito algum. Tive que solicitar a recepção da pousada para entrar com contato com o SPA. Ao chegar para a massagem, as funcionárias estavam fazendo massagem uma na outra, por isso não estavam me atendendo e, para completar passei um constrangimento ao me cobrarem adiantado a massagem, mesmo eu informando que pagaria assim que finalizassem o serviço. Experiência ruim.

В целом отель хороший. Расположение просто лучшее (первая линия), пляжный сервис, бассейн на крыше. Сантехника изношенная, кондиционер работал, но тарахтит как трактор. Проживали там в период карнавала, внизу в ресторане постоянно какие громкие гулянки. Оцениваю отель на 8 из 10

O atendimento na piscina pelos garçons , em especial ao Danilo , merece uma salva de palmas. O cardápio tem preços justos dos tira gostos e pratos. Tudo muito delicioso. Nao deixem de provar o super recheado pastel de camarao e a carne de sol com aipim . Não gostamos do barulho do arcondicionado, e do atendimento do setor de reservas, pessoal ríspido nas respostas. Piscina excelente. Localizaçao nota 1000

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It's within biking distances of Copacabana beach and the sugar loaf mountain. Also just a quick crossing from Botafogo beach. Super markets and good restaurants are also only walking distance.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Rio but has a quiet enough place to sleep. Most hotels around Ipanema or Copacabana are rather loud in the evening.

Ótimo Hotel, bem localizado, atendentes educados e atenciosos, quartos amplos e limpos. Ótimo café da manha.
Tem academia, sauna e piscina. Único ponto ruim que o bar da piscina não funciona, fora isso é um excelente Hotel.

Yes, there are some minor issues, like sometimes having to wait 7 minutes for an elevator, but I don't consider that a problem. It's a 30-story hotel with 6 elevators and many rooms, so you can imagine.
The breakfasts are a bit repetitive and could be improved, but they do have fresh orange juice, which is a nice touch.
There aren't always enough hotel umbrellas and chairs on the beach, but I don't see that as critical either.
The bed was good, and I slept excellently!
My birthday fell during my stay, and the hotel gave me a lovely surprise! Thank you! I'll definitely be back.

GGuest UserWe booked two rooms with the hotel: a junior suite and a standard. The suite was very spacious and opened up to the street. The windows did a good job of blocking sound so the street didn’t disturb our sleep at night. They had a parking garage that charges R$33 per day and was able to accommodate our Jeep Commander.
What is warranting this poor review was the hotel staff. Upon check-in they had informed us that one of our rooms wasn’t paid for even though i had already been charged by the booking agency. He said that we had opted for pay later and they hadn’t received the payment from the booking agency. I told them that my card had been charged by the booking agency but he insisted that it was likely a hold on the card to secure the room. I’d suggested to call the booking agency but he insisted that it wouldn’t be necessary (he didn’t seem worried so I assumed he had experience with this). Come to find that I was charged twice for this room and the booking agency has been trying to get in contact with the hotel for over a week with no response. This seems like FRAUD.
The second issue. Upon checkout of our suite, the lady checking us out requested a gratuity payment for the included breakfast… she estimated that based on the value of their breakfast that the suggested 10% gratuity would come out to R$180 per person. That would make their self-service breakfast be valued hire than Michelin restaurants in the area. She tried to ask the other party that was traveling with us but when I came closer she gave up. I’m wondering if this is hotel policy or if the staff at this hotel are actually running scams from the front desk.
I am still trying to get a hold of them about the double charge.

WWinnieThe location is excellent, surrounded by hotels and restaurants. Across the street is the endless ocean and a beach bustling with people playing ball and running early every morning. It's very convenient to all the attractions! Of course, a sea view room would be much more comfortable. The sunrises are beautiful every day. Although you can't see east, they're still beautiful. The interior view rooms have a small balcony, but it can feel a bit cramped. Beach slippers are provided and can be taken away and reused.

AAnonymous UserNothing else. They sell it as if it were 4 stars, but it definitely isn't. It's not bad, but it's not worth the price. Breakfast with few options and what was available was not very good. Room much smaller than it looks in the photos.

Breakfast is a variety of breads and pastries, too sweet, and the grilled sausages are too salty. There is a private beach and swimming pool with a nice view. It is near a wealthy area with good security and many people outside at night.

KKEVINLEEThe room balcony has a beautiful view, simple design, rich breakfast, and is also a safe area, but the hotel front desk will sell tickets and game tickets, which are more expensive than buying them yourself. Especially the game tickets: I bought them for 120 RMB, and they bought them for more than 800 RMB, just for the pick-up.

Superb Location
However, I am still upset with the reception team. On one night, there was a big party outside and it was impossible to sleep during the night. Having complained about the loud noise, the reception staffer told me that he would call the police. Nothing changed and on the next day, the hotel did not communicate at all with us about this incident. When I proactively asked for a discount on our dues, the reception staff wrote me lengthy messages that it was not in their control. For me, if you really care about your guests, you ask your neighbors to lower their music volume. They wrote me long messages how they really care about their guests, but if they do not follow through with these statements, better not make them in the first place.
The hotel has seen better days and not only did a stair case step break during our way just in front of our room (not repaired until our departure), but my girlfriend also stepped into a broken mosaic in the cold outside pool with her foot.
