Sanming Travel Guide
Sanming is a prefecture-level city in western Fujian province. It borders Fuzhou to the east and Quanzhou to the south. The city is known for its mountainous surroundings and picturesque scenery including Taining Jin Lake and Yongan Taoyuan Cave. There are also a number of historical attractions including the residence of a Ming dynasty official and the birthplace of the Song dynasty philosopher Zhu Xi.
