Villa di Datong

大同貴賓樓酒店，也叫做貴賓樓假日酒店（看標誌似乎是HolidayInn在管理）算是在大同的城中心，距離古城很近，地圖上看着就像是在邊上，地理位置還不錯，不過酒店到馬路要走很長的一段路，所以衹有出租車比較方便。 酒店的總面積很大，軟硬件條件都比較好，設計合理，走廊、房間都比較敞亮而又温馨。入住的房間面積很大，衞生間也很大，有淋雨和盆浴兩種，設施良好，一應俱全，睡衣、被單、毛巾等用品等都很乾凈、整潔、衞生，床鋪比較舒適。 酒店每天都有水果，入住當天還送了可樂、芬達、雪碧各一瓶，礦泉水不限量。早餐的種類還不錯，簡潔中的比較豐富、多樣，中式、西式都有，也有山西特色麪食。 總體上看，酒店的服務很好，性價比較高。

非常滿意的入住體驗，這麼寶藏的酒店差點錯過了，地理位置優越，房間歐式風格，保養的很好，床特別的大，也特別舒服，由於是淡季，給升了一級，本層的服務員大姐宋聰怡特別和善，有求必應。早餐非常，人也不多，服務員特別熱情。錯峯出行很重要。

I had a very pleasant stay, girls at the reception, housekeeping and breakfast are very nice and willing to help. The hotel is ideally located to visit Datong's ancient city. Room on the 7th floor, really confortable, had all I needed.

以前家庭出遊選擇標間就行了，但隨着孩子們逐漸成長、個子越來越高，床多、房間大成了選擇酒店的重要因素，大同賓館家庭套房這個房型剛好符合需求。 當天從北京一路自駕過來，下午先打卡了懸空寺，晚上才到酒店。辦完入住手續之後，被電梯旁邊一組照片牆吸引，才知道原來很多國家領導人都在此居住過，瞬間倍感榮焉。 晚上睡得很香甜，第二天9點多起來去吃早飯，才知道9點半閉餐，於是着急忙慌地奔赴餐廳，發現雖然時間到了，但依然還有很多食物，並未馬上撤餐，不像曾經住過的一家酒店，時間一到，所有的飯菜立刻就被撤走了。在拿取食物時，有個中年模樣的工作人員還主動幫我打豆漿，她親和得體的服務讓豐富的食物更加可口，也讓我對這家酒店又增添了許多好感。 相聚總是短暫的，行程原因衹能在這裏住一晚，離店的時候大廳裏還有位服務員大哥（也可能是大堂經理）送我們，我與他閑聊着漸暖的天氣，大哥真誠地揮手與我們道別。 酒店屬於服務行業，除了乾淨的房間、五臟俱全的健身室、豐富的自助早餐這些硬件因素之外，每一位和顧客接觸的工作人員的服務等軟的因素更為重要。主動倒豆漿的女服務員、熱情送別的門僮大哥，與顧客交流展現的專業素質和風貌細節無不展現了這家酒店的科學管理和優秀企業文化。大同賓館有底藴、有內涵，下次有機會還會入住這裏。

I loved this hotel. It has an old-fashioned charm that made me feel right at home. My room was very large, comfortable, and well-equipped. All of the staff and service people were extremely courteous from start to finish. The Chinese restaurant on the 7th floor has a great choice of dishes! Highly recommended, and excellent value for money. A great base for exploring the sights around Datong.

Comfortable bed and warm room with plenty of light. Biggest complaint would be the water. Maybe we were unlucky but our room was without water for around 3 hours during our stay (during the day) and when it came back on the water was not hot enough for a shower for the rest of the day. Fortunately the following day the water was back to normal. Breakfast was average.

It was a very satisfying stay. The service is excellent, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Their breakfast buffet is diverse and plentiful. The location is perfect for all the city sights. I'd definitely stay there again.

If you're only in Datong for a short time then location matters. The hotel tries hard with free canned drinks, welcome dessert and friendly staff but there are no shops next to the hotel at all although you can walk to a local neighbourhood about 700-800m away. The old city wall is not exactly near even if you can see parts of it from your hotel window. There is no subway in Datong so if you're interested in attractions in the old town then you need to factor in taxi costs unless you fancy a bit of a walk in the bitter cold. Breakfast is very local and very substantial.

We spent two nights at Atour in Datong, Shanxi Province. We were impressed by friendly and excellent services provided by staff (at every position) of the hotel. The room was clean and neat with all details attended. Breakfast was very good. We tasted some delicious local foods. The best of all was the hotel provided free of charge use of washing machine and dryer. A big thumb up!
