Hotel Mountain view di Datong

*The staff are nice to accomodate us. *The place is close to the scenic spot (few minutes by car). *The breakfast is not too bad. Few choices but it will fill you up.No drinks (juice or coffee). *The accomodation was nice to drop and pick us up at the scenic area.They dropped us off to the bus station going to Datong city. *Problem was the bad odour coming from the toilet. We think it’s from the drainage. We can’t even open the door for few minutes for air to come in because it is freezing. It’s negative degrees. *The room was nice and comfortable. I can’t find photos or video of the interior. The size of the room is perfect. It has a long bench.Table with 1 small chair.Tv, closet, slippers,toothbrush, hair dryer,kettle and 2 bottle of water. *Last picture was epic:)

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is quite a bit to see around Lingqiu, and I should have stayed one extra night or two. Miss Liu (刘小姐), the front receptionist, was extremely helpful, even going all the way to accompany me to the bus stop to catch the bus heading to the Pingxingguan Battle site. Miss Liu also assisted with booking a cab for my visit to the Jueshan Pagoda. This famous Pagoda was founded before England was established by William the Conqueror (if I am wrong, then pardon me, but the Pagoda was built sometime before 1077 A.D. during the Northern Wei Dynasty). Miss Liu also directed me to the gravesite of King Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty which is right in downtown Lingqiu. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. One restaurant, next door to the right of the hotel, serves a wondering braised fish; the other a few doors away, sells delicious meat pies. My room was professionally cleaned and serviced daily. The hotel even allows me to doze off on the reception floor sofa to await my night train to Beijing. I will return to this hotel if I return to Lingqiu.

Hotel based at the foot of HengShan. You need to park in the ticket buying area (cannot park directly at hotel) staff called beforehand to tell me this and arrange collection at the car park ~ Very helpful staff who collected me from the entrance and took me back to my car after A lovely hotel room with a comfy bed Awesome shower! Beautifully decorated. Shop and restaurant in the hotel as it is the only thing at the base of the mountain. Staff were accommodating of my dietary requirements. Very convenient to step out and begin the hike immediately! Some tea and coffee in the room and perhaps a fridge would have made it even better 😊

在房間就能看到圓覺寺和永安禪寺。步行過去10分鐘，所以早上起來就去、享受人少清凈的寺廟。樓下各種吃的，酒店早餐也豐富；自駕很方便、後院有很大的停車場和充電位。就是酒店前的馬路交通狀況比較堪憂

Get of out the station ,turn left and you can see  2 high rise buildings. It’s the second one .Just walk 200m and voila  the ( watch the pic) entrance. It’s located in an apartment block.go to the 7th floor,the entire floor being owned by the same company.The lady is absolutely delightful,charming and attentive to your request. The room is nicely decorated, big,clean,with all the necessary amenities ( the only issue is that all the bathroom towels are disposable and quite small but still ok) Location of perfect if you need to take or coming from a speed train.plenty of restaurants around. Highly recommended 

酒店位置不錯，離山門大概開車5分鐘，自駕過去超級方便。酒店本身各種設備布草沒有問題，熱水很沖，房間安靜。老闆和前台超級nice，有問必答。酒店還有自己的餐廳，晚上能提供免費麪條。早餐中規中矩，吃飽了爬山沒有問題。周邊最好的餐館應該是徐家家宴，過油肉不錯，剩下就是各種刀削麪快餐了，價格便宜。總之推薦

The hotel is a little out of town in an area that appears to be developing. It is run by lovely hosts who tried to help in any way they could. Our room was large and had very comfortable beds and an excellent shower. When we arrived, it was completely odour-free. Unfortunately, when we returned from our evening meal, there was a distinct and constant smell of cigarette smoke. We don't know where it was coming from - our corridor seemed fine - perhaps the ventilation system. It was a real shame as we otherwise loved the hotel.

The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is quite far away from the tourist Center. All have to take shuttle bus to the scenic place from the tourist Center. There are several restaurants around the hotel.

優點：五一期間沒怎麼漲價、環境清凈、周邊植被多，一家三口入住酒店前台多送了一張温泉券。 缺點：1.服務意識很差，八點多從温泉出來到更衣室找服務人員要毛巾被告知沒有了，轉頭就在汗蒸室櫃子裏看到了一櫃子毛巾。2.周邊很荒涼什麼都沒有，五一晚餐不能點餐衹能吃酒店68一位的自助，內容和普通酒店的免費早餐自助差不多。3.圖中的室外樓梯燈帶非常晃眼，恰好還有一條壞了不亮了，走下來時晃眼看不清楚以為那裡不是樓梯是平台結結實實摔了一跤，左腿摔破皮，右腳崴腳。“醫護人員”來給擦了一點碘酒，讓我自己買根冰棍敷下發腫的腳踝，酒店起碼配備一下冰袋之類的應急物品吧。 總體來説酒店硬件還可以，服務跟不上。

前台服務很好會介绍古城周邊景點與美食，酒店位置極佳美食，商場，當地小吃，咖啡均在附近是中轉站優先選古城印象店。
