Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

We missed a flight and needed a day room to rest until we could fly back later to UK. This is so close to the airport and was quaint and comfortable. No frills but a clean bed to rest, just what we needed, thank you for the last minute availability.

Everything was wonderful. The location was rural, had great views and beautiful surroundings. Staff - everyone excelled, super attentive, caring, and made everything possible. Shout out to our waiter at dinner from Florence, apologies I forgot your name but you did amazing and gave us a great restaurant recommendation for Florence which we went to. Food was amazing, breakfast full of local, seasonal goods, very relaxed atmosphere and sat outside. Will come back and stay again 100% - thank you.

The location super conveniente, walking distance to almost everywhere we had to visit, the room with a lift is clean and modern. The cleaning staffs are polite and helpful. The only downside is WiFi didn’t work very well.

’Old style’ hotel with clean and ok room. Just perfect for stop if you are e.g. having early flight. Nice breakfast. Met only one person who spoke english. Maybe different siruautomaatit as the season starts.

The room was immaculate. Peaceful space close to the mill hot springs. Dinner was also amazing at the restaurant. Only one bad comment would be the pillows were hard…. Everything else was perfect.

The Cascina is very nice even if in a slightly penalising position because of the very narrow road. The large rooms are well furnished in an ancient style, a beautiful garden, excellent parking, a large and well-equipped bathroom, a little TV x the distance from the bed. Breakfast could be a little more varied and cured to get the maximum score. Good staff

The gravel road from the parking lot to the check-in desk made it a bit difficult to carry my luggage. However, it was very nice that the staff guided me to the room and introduced me to the room when I checked in, and another staff member carried my luggage to the room. I used half board for both dinner and breakfast, and not only was the food quality good, but the staff were professional and friendly overall, such as introducing and explaining the wine. It was a shame that I couldn't enjoy the resort 100% because it rained on the day I visited, but it was beautiful and had its own charm, and I would like to visit again if I have the chance next time.

Great location in the countryside just outside of Pisa. Feels like being far away but you’re only 10 minutes from Pisa center. 20 minutes from Lucca. Beautiful renovated farm house with amazing chef and family run Bed and breakfast. Very relaxing surroundings. Say hi to Jerry the dog and throw his toy one more time for me!

I enjoy the quiet environment the inn offered. The breakfast is excellent, particularly the selection of fruits.
